Our family loved the privacy, creek, pizza oven area and large stones around the firepit. The cows were so cute and the family was helpful in bringing some extra firewood for us. We definitely look forward to coming back again! There is a bit of a slope down to the creek but the rope to climb back up was especially helpful for our son.

2 nights at Skoolie in the City

Very comfortable stay with heaters to keep it warm even with overnight temperatures being cold. Bus was hooked up to power and water and gas making it a fully equipped place to stay for a quick shower, using the toilet, and cooking. I even got a little hot at one point the first night with the heaters and warm clothing. Easy to find, easy to park, and not too far away from the suburbs and downtown

On site, you will have a cozy bed, hammock swings, outdoor shower, fire pit with grill, and an outhouse. Access to the nearby creek is just minutes away. The Magnolia is a great place to escape from the city. Some of the wildlife you may see or hear are cows, squirrels, rabbits, owls, coyotes and our free range chickens. We do ask that you give us a heads up if you plan to brings dogs so we can keep them in their coop for the day. Enjoy the stars from the hammock swings or lay a blanket out in the grass. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. The property borders a small creek and has abundant trees, and wildlife. Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. Chose big sky or a more secluded spot. Incredible wildflowers on display in the spring. The property is not bordered by close neighbors or dense housing, just more land so sunsets and rises are wonderful and open. Low ambient light pollution at night means the stars are very bright (and so are the fireflies)! Guests are required to communicate estimated time of arrival well in advance. When arriving, make sure to meet Aaron or a designate at the red gate before entering further into the property. If tent camping, please do not bring glass containers, also you must pack out all garbage and waste. Inquire ahead of time to see if firewood is available to be gathered on site, or if you will need to bring your own. Deer run plentiful on the property and will come up close and personal when fed corn. So, stop and pick up a sack or two of deer corn before arrival.
