Nice experience with Lamas. Judy and other gentlemen were patient answering questions about the stay. Could have looked at the weather before going, had multiple times thunderstorms over the night. We LOVED llama land ranch! It was the perfect getaway from Fort Worth for the weekend. Our campsite was tucked away from the other sites on either side of us so we didn’t feel like we were near others. Judy was so welcoming and responsive. The bathrooms are “NICE NICE NICE” as advertised and pretty cool as they are in a silo. The llamas, pups, and cats around the place were so much fun to be around. It was such a peaceful retreat for the weekend. We will definitely be back! Very family friendly or if you want to keep to yourselves that’s easy too :)

Weekend Trip to Cabins directly on the Lake

Where to even start! Gene was the most absolute wonderful host and made us feel so welcome from the very start. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to kickstart the weekend. There were so many amenities, but we heavily enjoyed the kayaks and they were so much fun. I would definitely recommend booking this place for a weekend getaway as the view was simply amazing. Gene even wowed us with his card tricks and honestly, that was literally the cherry on top. I can go on and on about how great this location was and how great Gene was, but you should definitely find out for yourself and book. You will not regret it!! It was secluded and the quietness was top tier. The cabin was phenomenal and had enough space for 4 girls with a lot of bags (lol) and the hot water was ahhhmazing. Thank you Gene for hosting us and honestly being so welcoming and kind, especially with the birthday party. It was truly a pleasure and we will be back !!

2 nights at Seven Acres Campground

Joey and Cindy recently set up a gazebo! It has a mini table fire, cushioned seats, and a large speaker. It was very comforting to use for warmth, especially since we went during a really windy time. Cindy and Joey were very sweet and informative and gave us tips for our 3 day trip. The claw tub is also massive and perfect for showering and bathing. This was a very peaceful and cozy getaway!

The Victorian room is furnished from the turn of the century with a few modern conveniences thrown in.

2 nights at Seven Acres Campground

We had a super cozy and relaxing stay! The bathhouse was actually really nice and the heater in it could get it toasty in there (it got pretty cold at night when we went). The cabin was warm too of course, I just didn't expect to spend so much time in a bathroom while camping (there is a huge claw foot tub in there that was too tempting for us). There was a surprise in the middle of the campsite when we got there, a gazebo just got added which was a really cool bonus since we got to be the first to take it for a spin. It was super windy so unfortunately a campfire was out of the question (this was a problem for anyone out camping so what can you do). Luckily the gazebo that Joey & Cindy added had a pretty wind proof gas powered fire to sit around in it so that saved the day. There is also a grill so we were able to still cook no problem too of course. We definitely recommend staying!

Melanie was an amazing host from the jump. She met with us as soon as we pulled in and told us about all the amenities the campgrounds had. It was a beautiful land with a nice pond in the middle. We fished, star gazed, went on a nice walk, and made a nice fire. It was the perfect getaway for my wife and 2 children. Ages 8 & 3.

Super cute place. Lots of space and not crowded. Outhouse restroom was clean. Campsite was nice with fire pit chairs, a picnic table & a jr size picnic table. Staff were very friendly & accommodating, though we didn’t need much. My only wish was that there was somewhere to deposit the trash at the exit, so we didn’t have to drive around with it searching for a place to dump it.

3 nights at Glamm Camping

Absolutely perfect! We lived it, my 2 year old nephew got to pick fresh eggs. And couldn't stop talking about the foats and pigs, and had his first ride on a pattle boat. So relaxing! Melanie is an amazing host, they really took care of us. We will defetely go back to enjoy this place again. Love it! ❤️

The outhouse was kept clean and the new bathrooms were really nice. The llamas soo friendly. It was so nice we were checked in on. The various picnic tables and set ups are super nice! This is somewhere I want to keep coming again and make a tradition of. It was nice to see other families and kids having such a good time and still feel privacy at our spot Pond in the Pasture. Absolutely wonderful! Some of the best memories roasting rice crispies! Reading. Enjoying all the cool birds I have never seen. All the sounds. The woodpecker in the morning and owls at night!

Pastures are mowed three times a year and always look beautiful. There is some terrain that is rough and the land has not been traveled. Bring machetes and a compass (We are not a rescue team). The land is ready to be loved by our visitors. The llamas will come to greet you and so will many more things in this wonderful place. The last 5 miles of the drive are on a "Red Dirt Road" and it can be bumpy or even slippery if it's rained recently. I've never heard of any issues in any vehicles but it's a county road. You will leave with red dirt on your vehicle but that's part of the appeal, the secluded getaway :) Once you start down the driveway you'll see the lake through the trees, making the rough 5-mile ride worth it.
