We had a great 2 night stay at Circle C Campground essentially inside the Sam Houston National Forrest. The park trails began 50 yrds from our campsite. The sites themselves were very large, and there are only 7 total campsites, so it felt very spacious. There was a lot for the kids to do and they roamed freely with no worries from mom or dad about them all weekend. Terry was very friendly and has spared no expense improving the property to allow campers to enjoy it. Highly recommended.

Me and my two friends had a blast at this site. Awesome level ground for pitching a tent. Water for cleaning dishes and what not. Electric electricity if you need it. We attempted to try and find the little creek during the night time but we got too scared. Kept hearing stuff running around.

Camping at Circle had to be one of the best camping experiences I’ve had in Texas! Being from the PNW it brought a balance of forest and comfort! Terry was very nice. Nice bathroom/shower/cooking area setup, much better than most camp sites. The lone star hiking trail also leads right behind the campsite and there is gate access to it. I would camp here again.
