Hazel Park is primarily a 30 acre stand of pine. It has several trails and Crystal Creek Runs through it. In addition there is a cleared 15 acre area once used for farming and grazing. It includes our homestead. The camping area is 3 acres of an abandoned homestead which includes a water well, electricity and septic system. One septic hookup is available No toilet is available there yet. There is a septic dump. Adjacent to this area is a private pond for fishing. Off road vehicles are welcome. Lake Conroe is located about 6 miles west. The Sam Houston National Forest entrance is about 18 miles north. Beyond the national forest is Huntsville and Sam Houston State University 24 miles. To the East is Lake Livingston 35 miles and a continuation of the national forest. To the south are the cities of Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, and Houston. Downtown Houston is about 49 miles away.Enjoy a secluded and private getaway with hiking and ATV trails. Watch wildlife from well placed blinds. Catch your supper from our pond. Hunt feral hogs. Or attend a concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillon. Shop and dine at the many fine restaurants and stores within easy driving distance.

Christmas 2024 trip

We camped for a week in our Argosy Airstream. The road is paved right up to the campground. It was peaceful, quiet and nestled among the trees. We camped during Christmastime and visited with family and friends during the holidays. There is a train close by but it wasn’t too loud or often. We would camp there again!

Great place to stay. Super spacious, even for our 40ft 5th wheel. We were the only ones there so very private and quiet too. There's a little pond for fishing and trails for 4 wheeling but we hiked them instead. Bill and his wife were very hospitable and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place for our big rig!

Fantastic host, beautiful property. Big place to turn around for our 41’ big rig equipped with 50 amps and water. Peaceful pond and trees surround our open spot for our Starlink . We’d definitely stay here again !
