I stumbled across this awesome place just before covid shut us all down. It was hidden in the middle of overgrown brush and not visible from the street. That didn't matter, it was love at first sight! We tried to come on the weekends and work on clearing but it wasn't enough so we moved out here last year and have made it not only a home but a fun place to live and share with others.

Boulderdash is quite amazing! We usually camp in tent campsites because we have a tiny camper, and we don't like to be among huge RVs. Boulderdash is a quite small campground but the design is great and RVs do not face each other and are not lined up, so everybody has privacy. We stayed for the first two nights in the RV site 3, and for the last night we moved to tent site 1 by the river. The tent campsites are the best for who likes nature. While they don't have water or power at the campsite itself, they have a great outdoor washing area with potable water, electricity and a picnic table. There's a port-a-potty besides the bathrooms on the hilltop. Our campsite had a fire ring, a grill, a great picnic table, and you're steps from the river. Water was pretty low but it was running because there are some springs that feed into it. Everything at Boulderdash is well thought out, the bathrooms are super clean and cute, shower is FANTASTIC! Every picnic table has a flower arrangement and a jar of corn to feed the deer, and a small shop. Wi-fi made camping bearable to our teenage daughter. Also fantastic are the hosts: Carole-Anne is super friendly, and received us with a pumpkin bread that she baked to all campers who were there on thanksgiving. That really set the tone right. She was super accommodating to our requests, and is just an overall nice person. Their dogs and cats are super sweet, as are the deer that come every day to get sone corn. We had a wonderful time!

Leann's land is in a remote, beautiful part of Hill Country --we were the only people camping on the property so it was extra quiet and peaceful. My 9 year old roamed the property with his trusty map and felt like a true explorer. The campground is close to Garner State Park and about a half hour from Lost Maples.

This ranch is in an absolutely beautiful location. We visited over the Halloween weekend with the native fall grasses in full beauty. At night we sat, had some wine, looked at the stars, counted satellites as they passed over and listened to the coyotes off in the distance. This is a great location to slow down and just get away.

It was a beautiful place and lots of deer. The owners are really sweet too which was really welcoming to have. We did tent camping right in the center near the bathroom which was perfect. What a wonderful experience! The host were super sweet and helpful. The campsite was perfect. We loved the fact there was Cornhole to play and it was our nightly activity. The view walking along the river was beautiful! I'm so glad we found this place and can't wait to come back!

Was a great location right off the highway and very quiet. It is a campground and event location with a nice amount of wildlife within the fenced area. We didn't have much time since we were passing through but would love to return and spend some time here. Our spot was in the front but still was very quiet and couldn't hear the highway. Only possible negative would be that the front pull through sites were right next to each other and would have been on top of others if the row had been full. But the site was good and the hookups were very easy.

Wilson was the best host! Drove me and my son out to the main campsite while pointing out each stop along the way including the swimming hole, 2 bar hill incase we need service and told us we could explore anything else. Found a really cool spot on a ridge to camp for the night with amazing views of the sunset and sunrise. Don’t hesitate to book with Wilson he is very accommodating and was cool to hear he’s a 5th generation rancher and the family has been there since the 1800’s! We will definitely be back!
