Beaver’s Pond is situated in the sweetest town of Texas Honey Grove.There is a picnic table a fire pit and a bbq grill in front of the cabin & there is a gas stove, mini fridge and a water heater. There is not city water or electricity, but If you bring a power station or generator, you will have electricity. There is a water well in the cabin with a water pump. There is a wood burning stove inside. The bathroom is outside on the left side of the cabin with toilet sink and shower. There are two kayaks and a paddle board for you to use. Beware of beaver holes when walking outside of the cabin and please don’t cross the pond, it’s my neighbors property.

We enjoyed our stay! Kids went kayaking and fishing every chance they could. Plenty of fish to catch in the pond. The area was quiet and tucked away from the road which we liked. Everything in description was there as stated.

We had a great time! Nice cabin and pond. Serapio was very helpful and quick to respond. We brought a 300w battery pack(Jackery) which powered the outside lights and other chargeable things. Used it inside to plug in lamps. Only used generator for shower and dishes. Filled back of toilet with water bucket and other containers we had if generator not on. We brought a propane heater that is usable inside, but saw there was one in bedroom when we were leaving. Nice break from city life! We will be back. Our dogs had a great time too!!

Jeffrey’s place was amazing, we brought our two dogs and loved that they could explore without us having to worry about where they were because the whole area is fenced in. We fished for about 30 minutes and caught two fish each (catch and release), saw a lot of different birds, and had a wonderful campfire. The tent is huge and well equipped with everything you could imagine needing and more. The heater warmed up the tent quickly and the fridge was cold. We also ordered the charcuterie board which was AMAZING and well worth it. I highly recommend it.

Group trip
Our family had a fun and relaxing time here. Fishing was good, and the amenities were comfortable. We used the generator when needing to shower, wash dishes, or flush the toilet (it was pretty loud). Otherwise, we kept the place warm using the cast iron wood burning stove and lit candles/used flashlights to see at night. The stars were big and bright! We had fun sitting around the fire pit making s’mores and had a good laugh when an armadillos came through. I really enjoyed laying in one of several hammocks to read and listen to the birds. Something we did not expect was for our teen girls to really enjoy chopping wood of all things! Serapio is a very responsive and generous host. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Glamp like a Champ
Really loved this place. Would visit again with family and friends. It’s very peaceful. Sunsets are beautiful. Jeff is really a great host. Jeff will be one text or call away if we need anything. I would recommend this place for a peaceful and relaxing visit.enjoyed staying there.

This is our second time coming here and we are convinced this is our new recurring spot. Rick's land is so peaceful and full of beautiful camping spots that we're excited to keep exploring. Rick is always so attentive, helpful and so sweet to us, making our stay extra special. The horses and donkeys are a dream and makes the experience even more magical. We loved our stay, it was so fun! Well stocked cabin, we loved staying warm with the wood stove. We’re so glad there was plenty of fire wood ready for us to use. Our dogs loved running around the cabin. We caught bass and blue gill in the pond. I think as long as you’re prepared for an off grid stay, you’ll have a great time!

This spot is such a gem. We loved meeting the goats and chickens and seeing how lovingly curated they have made this space. Jeffrey was so kind and a wealth of knowledge about farming and gardening. Our dog had a ball playing frisbee with enough space to really run, and the RV was so spacious! Beautiful night of bon firing under the stars. We will definitely be back <3

It’s our first time to go camping w my son and discovered this serene and lovely cabin. Just fire up the generator and everything will light up for you and water overflows! I love the bed and the blankets, the books (esp ‘The Living on the Rugged edge’ by Charles Swindoll); small items like the mobile phone reset pin is there! Twas a really good rest w nature plus fishing time too. This is my dream cabin in the future. Well, overall we would like to recommend this for a good bonding time w your son. In fact, we are extending our stay for few more days. Thanks Sir Serapio, our host, for the kind help and excellent communication skills. He is always available everytime I have a question. Thanks again!
