There is not city water or electricity, but If you bring a power station or generator, you will have electricity. There is a water well in the cabin with a water pump. There is a wood burning stove inside. The bathroom is outside on the left side of the cabin with toilet sink and shower. There are two kayaks and a paddle board for you to use. This is a great property with a lot of potential for adventure. You can burn almost everything around responsibly. There is a lot of firewood. Right now there are no bathrooms or facilities of any kind except for a small goat shed. there is a ton of scrap metal and random random things in a pile great for digging and scrapping in all free. Finders keepers. There are some really old giant trees on the property. One is probably the largest tree I have ever seen in Collin County. There is a seasonal creek that runs through the back and sort of a swappy pond in the front. The Prairie in the front is some sort of different grass than usual. It might be native buffalo grass or something else weird like that. The property needs a lot of cleanup, so I would make a good to work campers or groups wanting a working party. The land could use some work, I could contribute a lot of free beer and food to people cleaning up the place before I build my house.

We loved our stay, it was so fun! Well stocked cabin, we loved staying warm with the wood stove. We’re so glad there was plenty of fire wood ready for us to use. It’s our first time to go camping w my son and discovered this serene and lovely cabin. Just fire up the generator and everything will light up for you and water overflows! I love the bed and the blankets, the books (esp ‘The Living on the Rugged edge’ by Charles Swindoll); small items like the mobile phone reset pin is there! Twas a really good rest w nature plus fishing time too. This is my dream cabin in the future. Well, overall we would like to recommend this for a good bonding time w your son. In fact, we are extending our stay for few more days. Thanks Sir Serapio, our host, for the kind help and excellent communication skills. He is always available everytime I have a question. My family and I had a great time! Rick was a perfect host. We mentioned wanting to do some fishing, so he put us near the pond. We were able to catch some decent-sized largemouth bass and bluegill. At our camp, we were visited by many of the animals roaming around. Willie and Doc really enjoyed hanging around our camp.

Great spot. Would recommend grabbing both spots for lots of space. Pond is awesome. Our Lab loved swimming and the fishing is good. Plenty of bass and bluegill. James was very responsive to all questions. If you need to re-supply, there is a 24-hr Exxon <5 minutes away. Don’t even have to go back into town. The boat and dock were added extras.

Weekend Trip to Sleep Under the Pecan Trees

Rick was such an amazing host, so welcoming, kind and full of great stories. The camping experience was so peaceful and we can’t wait to come back. We loved having the horses roaming around freely and greeting us throughout the day. One night wasn’t enough, we’ll be back for two! thank you for everything Rick!

Weekend Trip to Rebecca W.’s Land

Was a great time out there with plenty of room to hike and see wildlife. Fishing ponds were absolutely beautiful and stocked with good size fish. Will be coming back !

We had a wonderful time at Rebecca’s land! We woke up to cows surrounding our tent after the first night. It was an amazing experience! Super quick responses and a great recommendation to a coffee place. Hope to be back to visit soon!
