Weekend Trip to Al's Hideaway Escape to the Country

We were met by Al himself and given a tour of the land and then upgraded to a better spot complete with a phantastic Merry Prankster inspired bus to hang out in! Had to leave a night early but will 10/10 return!

5 nights at Al's Hideaway Escape to the Country

Perfect stay. The pavilion; with kitchen, pool table, tv and showers/ restrooms was a game changer. Owners were amazing, thank you to Gordon, Jennifer and Samantha for make us feel so comfortable. The location is just far enough away from some great exploring. We will be back.

Weekend Trip to Outdoorsy Hill Country

My family and I LOVED staying here with our pups! It was the perfect way to get some non-campers into relaxing in the outdoors! The beds were comfortable, the interiors were simple but absolutely stunning, and our surroundings were so peaceful. I found myself wanting to wake up before sunrise every day :) My dogs have been all over the country with me, but this is definitely one of my favorite stays with them. Getting an additional golf cart was also a very convenient addition to easily get around property! ALSO It turns out Outdoorsy has two more locations in Colorado and outside of Yosemite--so I may look into trips there as well!

Weekend Trip to HomeAway Ranch & Wildlife Preserve

Great place to camp with kids (ages 4-7) (playground & animal adventure). The owners are beyond kind and thoughtful. For tent goers don’t forget your potties bc there are none available. Also, not clear on where to put your tent, but nonetheless it was great. We will be back.

1 night at On The Rocks Glamping Resort

Oh my gosh, I’m coming back for sure. This place was amazing and Leslie was so helpful in helping us with a forgotten charger. This is a beautiful spot and it would be great for multiple families renting the whole place out. Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be back.

1 night at Cedar Break at Howard Ranch

Twisted x brewing is literally right next door; it was great to hop over there for a few beers then walk 20 yards back to our RV spot. We didn't really explore the ranch much (it was right before Christmas) but the grounds and RV spots were nice!

Weekend Trip to Tipis on the Guadalupe

I had a great experience. I wish I could stay longer.

From the outside, they look like real Tipis and the interiors are a comfortable and modern cabin with sleeping for up to 6 guests! Each is fully furnished and air-conditioned. They all have a kitchenette with a sink, a small dorm-sized fridge, a 2 burner stove, and a large toaster oven. They also each have a separate private bathroom with a walk-in tiled shower located next to the tipis. Outside, there are individual barbecues, picnic tables, and fire pits serving each cabin. Guests are sure to love their stay at one of the most unique glamping sites New Braunfels has to offer! Tipis 1, 6, and 7 each have two queen-size beds and a modern foldout couch, sleeping up to 6 guests in a large, round room. Tipis 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8 each have three queen-size beds in each Tipi, sleeping up to 6 guests in a large, round room. The Tipis are also perfect to rent one or a few for a small or large group. There is a scenic waterfront deck located down our walkable trail, called the Path of Positivity! Everything has been provided to ensure our guests enjoy a wonderful glamping experience!
