We have been to many glamping sites in TX but I have not seen such a beautiful site with a high elevation view. The host made it extra special sending us a small gift to celebrate our anniversary.. A beautiful night under the stars that you won't forget!

Very peaceful and the perfect escape I needed to get away from the city. Would definitely be back again.

Fantastic camping spot! We booked out both of the river spots so that we had more room and privacy. It was perfect! The walk up to the bath house wasn’t bad at all. Facilities were nice and clean and cared for. We didn’t use the WiFi. The sink and electric were very conveniently located. There was an issue with the outlets, but the hosts were super quick to respond and got us set up with alternate electricity sites in the meantime. Incredibly accommodating. Being next to the water was perfect! The dogs loved it. Plenty of flat spots for tents and parking. Beautiful site. I’ve camped quite a bit within about a 3 hour radius of Austin, and this has been the best! Loved it

Weekend Trip to Sound Ground (fka Reverse Pioneers)

My partner and I pitched our tent at the Sotol campsite. It was a great view and a quiet, relaxing area w/ great sky viewing. Kasey was a communicative, great host. We would definitely recommend this site!

Weekend Trip to Dos Rios - Hill Country Adventure

Extremely nice individuals, the staff were friendly and caring. They had and were happy to share the local spots to hang out and the cool things in the area, it was my first time setting up a tent and unfortunately I can’t remember the staff members name, but a woman came by the camp ground after my arrival at 10:30pm and saw me struggling and offered a hand to help I’ve gotta say thank y’all for being an epic can’t sight!

2 nights at Sparrow Bend River Retreat

Sparrow's Bend is a treasure. The hosts have anticipated guests needs with a well kept camp including access to an air-conditioned bathroom and outdoor shower. We brought wood but ended up running low into our second night and they very conveniently keep a pile of firewood with a venmo QR code. We brought our paddle boards and very easily launched right out of camp, though the water is still very, very low. We were able to explore quite a ways in either direction and just had to carry our boards for little sections at a time. Really the best part of the river is right at Sparrows Bend where we spent most our time watching the sparrows and the fish.

2 nights at The Charmadillo: Glamping Resort

Very quiet and beautiful. Enjoyed the view and hospitality. Shower area was very nice! Will be back soon!

I loved staying at tent site B. It was easy to find, had a raised mulch pad for the tent, a couple of chairs, firepit, and grill. It was a short walk to the bathrooms/showers along a mulch path. Will definitely stay again when we come back to explore more.

We enjoyed our stay in the big cabin. It fit our family of 7 and we had plenty of things to do! This place was perfect for kids, even toddlers. We felt safe the entire time and the property manager was there if we needed anything. We’ll definitely come back, but with friends!!!

When the Ladder is reserved, you may not swim there. Please be respectful. We have 1.5 miles of both sides of the river so plenty of places to swim. It varies a lot in depth and width over the ranch. The Ranch is our place we like to go when we need to get away. It's raw and it's nice land to camp, explore and enjoy wildlife. We have a Wildlife Exemption on the property and enjoy managing native song birds. We keep a constant flow of bird seed located in feeders around the ranch, and we have seen all kinds of birds making this a great place for birders. The ranch has nice elevation changes with a wet weather creek that traverses the property. There are some trails to hike or mountain bike. The cabin is rustic without plumbing or electricity, but we enjoy it and it's fun to think it's everything we would need. This is off-grid living all the way, and we are constantly learning new and better ways to do things. Other Things to Note: - You can stay connected if you'd like to, as cell reception and wifi are both available on our property. Feel free to unplug during your stay though! - The cabin is quite private, though you may see other visitors in passing during your stay. - Furry friends are welcome! Our 16' Bell Tents sleep 2-4ppl unless you book all 4 sites and you can sleep up to 16ppl~ Our private backyard glampsite is located on one acre of beautiful oaks in a dark sky community. Sit by the fire as you gaze up at the Milky Way. We have 2 goats, 13 chickens and a pig! They stay in their pens and we provide food so you can feed them - please do not give them any other food except what is provided. Bonus! Guests can enjoy fresh eggs daily, when available. Located-10 minutes from Canyon Lake -20 minutes from Wimberley, San Marcos and Blanco. Wynona’s is perfectly situated to some of the sweetest towns in Texas! The space We love camping so much we decided to make our own Glamping experience in our backyard! The rental includes your yurt, but you get to use the common space!! In total we have 4 bell tents. Two tents have one queen bed and two have two queen beds. We provide two air mattresses to sleep total 16!! There are AC units in each of the tents to keep cool at night. Please note that the hot tub is only included if all 4 tents are booked. Our common areas include 2 showers, 2 toilets, 1 extra large sink area connected to the bathrooms, 2 grills and 4 large picnic tables, a bar and coffee station, a fire pit, hammocks and a rope swing. This space is perfect for any family celebration, reunion, birthday party, ect! It is tucked away at the bottom of the property so you get the space to yourself. IMPORTANT! There is an additional $25/yurt if you want to use the hot tub during your stay. Guest access When you arrive at our house you will park in our circle driveway and walk through the double green gates down the hill to the glampsite. (To the left past the house) The road is slippery/steep so please use the steps. Backpack recommended for easier up and down! You can roll a cooler down the (steep) road! Other things to note Each of the four bell tents are equipped with an AC unit, beds, heater, pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, electrical outlets, twinkle lights, and a lantern. Light switch to main Edison lights are located on the side table near hot tub outlets.
