under a peaceful canopy of large beautiful trees. Don't be surprised if you run into deer, squirrels, or roadrunners! Our property is home to a wide variety of hill-country wildlife.
- Each of our campsites are private and surrounded by forest.
- Each site has a fire ring for campfires
- Our trees are our most precious natural resource and set this campground apart! Please don't do anything to harm them.
- Port-o-john is available on site.
- All of our campsites are primitive. No electric or water here.
- When you camp with us you are welcome to explore and play on the entire property! We have 55 acres of trails and woods to explore! Please bring your bikes, trail shoes, or whatever helps you have fun in the wild!

We have so many trees! All of our sites are hammock-friendly.
- When you check-in, just text us, your host will help you find your campsite.
- Some sites are drive-in where your vehicle can park right next to the fire. Others are walk-in and require a short hike of 100' or less from your parking space. You can indicate your preference during booking or at check-in.
If you want to drive right into your site,
Campsites 2, 3, 6, and 12 are the sites you want.
Some of our campsites are more secluded than others and offer extreme privacy in the most beautiful settings we have to offer. If you're looking for a wilder campsite surrounded by huge old trees and all the peace the woods have to offer, just request Campsites 4, 5, 7, or 8. Each of these sites requires a walk of at least 50' from your vehicle to the fire ring.
Site 13 is only for backpackers or people willing to hike about 500 yards to the campsite over rough terrain. There is no way to drive to it or even get close except on foot. But it is spectacular and beautiful!
Only three sites can accommodate a smaller trailer or camper. Site 1, Site 2, and site 6. Please notify me in your booking if you intend to bring a camper and I can accommodate you.
We practice leave-no-trace as much as possible. So please pack out anything you pack in. You are responsible for removing all trash. If any garbage is left behind in your site you will be billed for the cleanup. We have a dumpster located near the front gate. Please use it and put all your trash in there.
Heads-up! We have a small farm on the property.
Dogs are always welcome and we LOVE our furry friends! For their safety and the safety of our livestock please keep them leashed while on property.

Come stay at Bird Haus Farms! We offer a secluded RV site with stunning views on several acres, away from our four short-term rentals.
While the container pool is no longer available, there's a beautiful swimming hole just a short walk from the site (waiver required). Extra swimmers are $20 each.
Bird Haus Farms is centrally located in the Texas Hill Country—just 30 minutes from San Antonio, 25 minutes from New Braunfels and Boerne, and 60 minutes from Fredericksburg. A Walmart and HEB are just across the highway, with Guadalupe State Park only 15 minutes away.

At the designated tent camping sites, you will find oak groves that provide opportunities for shade. The RV sites are in a picturesque field that provides excellent views of the sunset. The field leads down to incredible cypress trees lining the Medina River. We also have a primitive camping area down by the river that requires you to park in a parking area and walk to your preferred camping spot.
If you are looking for solitude and untouched nature, this is the place for you. The comforts of Bandera are conveniently only a 5 minute drive away. We are located less than 2 miles from Bandera City Park!
At this time, all sites are completely dry. We do have porta-potties available. RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.) Guests may stay at Memmie’s Farm for a maximum of 6 consecutive nights.
Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. The Medina River is generally not considered safe in Bandera, TX, due to consistent low flow. Swim at your own risk.

I loved our weekend getaway at Boulderdash! Great views of the hill country on our way there. Loved spending time on the river it was running low but still enough to sit in and cool off. Our campsite #3 has plenty of room for 3 tents and parking for 2 cars with plenty of shade. Restrooms were clean and had an air conditioner a bonus! Carol-anne and Lyn are great host with any questions we had and the homemade sourdough bread is delicious. The river side campsite 1 and 2 were beautiful sites with lots of shade. We are looking forward to our next trip! Amazing place and our time there special.

When we arrived, we realized Forest 1 was too small for our 10-person tent. We called, and they moved us right away to beach 4. We were closer to the river. Everything was really clean and well-maintained. We were in the river from 10 AM until 5:30 PM, minus restroom breaks. The kids had a blast stargazing and at the campfire.
We look forward to coming back at some point. As a family with four small children, we found it really comforting to see other families enjoying the spaces as well. When we got back home, we were informed that it was the best camping trip of their lives and asked when we could go back.

The cabins are clean and well kept. The AC works well and they have mini fridges. There are toilets near the cabins, and also toilet + showers down the path. The sauna is great; love the cedar smell. There are beautiful views all around the property.

I grew up camping in the raw woods in Oregon and haven’t been able to find anything close since coming to Texas. We stayed in site 8 which was extremely secluded. It’s literally just the woods, no toilets, no loud neighboring campers…just you and nature. Sometimes we could hear the road in the distance but I’d much rather that over other people camping 20 feet apart like most campgrounds. While we didn’t see anything, there were signs of wildlife like fox hair and wild boar digging around. We did get to see some fireflies!! We also met the wife and son and they were very helpful and kind. I would definitely come back here again!

This place felt very luxurious! I loved the little cabin with the fancy coffee set up and the common spaces with all the amenities. There was plenty of room to roam around and enjoy the hillsides of wildflowers and so many species of birds. I highly recommend staying here.

I loved my stay! I was able to take both of my dogs and they loved being able to explore, it’s a very short walk to the water and a good amount of space and privacy, the site next door was empty for the weekend so it felt like we had the area all to ourselves! There is a sink (with potable water) and a porta potty very close as well if you don’t want to go all the way up the hill to the full bathrooms. Lyn and Carol-Anne were very communicative and helpful! We will most certainly be coming back!

This is my second time staying here and this time I brought my family along with me to share the awesome adventure because this place is just perfect. It’s right in the city outskirts so not too far away, but just secluded enough to not have to be confronted with the hustle and bustle of San Antonio traffic but just far away so as you don’t have to hear any nonsense and can float in this oasis of a watering hole till you’re pruning enough for your skin to fall off. I highly recommend you bring your family out here and enjoy one of their beautiful campsite and or other amenities Miss Michel and Mr. Luke are beyond. Generous and kind.

Absolutely Amazing! My husband and I stayed at Boulderdash RV and Camp for three nights at the end of May. We stayed in the Stella RV . Stella was so comfortable. The linens were soft and clean, Stella has everything you need from cooking a hot meal to taking a hot shower. The AC was on point and well needed after hot days by the beautiful clean and clear Medina river. Our hosts were very hospitable and kind. It was hard to leaving back to the real world. Such a beautiful and well maintained property. We can't wait to go back, hopefully for a much longer stay next time. Thank you again to our hosts Carol Anne and Lynn!

I had a beautiful time camping at Boudlerdash! We arrived Friday night, and were greeted warmly by Carol-Anne with a lay of the land and a carton of fresh farm eggs. We drove down to camp site 2, and set up camp right before a massive storm rolled through! Luckily for us, the weather cleared up Saturday and Sunday, and we spent the rest of the long weekend sitting in the river and cooking over the fire. The best part of Boudlerdash is the HOT SHOWER!!! I have never been so spoiled in my camp life. There are also other lovely amenities like the kitchen sink for washing dishes, and the lounge chairs. I will absolutely be back!! Next time, I'm booking both river sites and bringing all my friends haha.

We loved our time at 3 dry Wells Ranch! We stayed in the sunset Hill Bell tent and it was perfect. We fit 3 people and 2 dogs comfortably. The view was amazing, and truly saw the most beautiful sunset. We felt secluded and it was super quiet! Just great place to unwind. Hosts were amazing, William brought us a second generous stack of wood we purchased for the pit. Well worth the money. Thank you!

Sarah’s land was an amazing place to camp with beautiful views and a really relaxing atmosphere. There were quite a few options for tent spots, although some areas of the field were a little overgrown which limited a few camping spots. That said, the amenities more than made up for it. Easily the best bathrooms and showers I’ve ever found at a camping spot—super clean and really well kept. The sauna was such a nice treat after a long day of hiking, and the small pools were a great touch. Having access to the kitchen was awesome, and the den was the perfect hangout spot to play games and relax. Overall, a great place to unwind and camp!

We really enjoyed our time here! The location was a little difficult to get to with a large RV (narrow residential roads/low trees, etc) but once we actually got settled, the time was well spent. The area was perfect for us and two dogs. It would be a little too close if you had to camp next to people you do not know at slot2, but we booked with our RV friends so it was a perfect set up to visit and relax outside amongst each other. The property and water was BEAUTIFUL! All of the other guests were very friendly and there was a good amount of space between everyone.
