The Juniper is situated between Austin and San Antonio in picturesque Texas Hill Country, only minutes from beautiful Canyon Lake. We're conveniently located within 5-10 mins of several boat ramps and parks on the lake, as well as a golf course, wineries and many other attractions. In addition to the many fun activities to do on Canyon Lake, The Juniper is within 15-30 mins of numerous Guadalupe River tubing and rafting sites, Whitewater Amphitheater and Gruene Hall, Natural Bridge Caverns and Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo, and more. The Juniper is also conveniently located within 30 mins of New Braunfels, Wimberley and Gruene, and an hour of San Antonio, Austin and Fredericksburg. Please note, the pool is only open Memorial Day through the end of September. This canvas bell tent is equipped with a cozy full-size bed, a table and chairs for two, coffee maker, full-size mini refrigerator, A/C, heat, and WiFi. Shared open-air bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot showers are only a few steps away from the glampsite. Parking is only a short walk from this tent. A wagon is provided to transport your luggage.

great little camp site! short drive to the lake so perfect for a day to relax!! The hot tub was great and the hammock was nice! The ac kept the tent very cool and comfortable.

Luxury Glamping With Hot Tub

Overall, it was a good experience, and the inside of the yurt was very clean and nice. We also loved the private pool and hot tub. The only issue we had was ants in the campground itself (none in the yurt though). We left with a few ant bites on our feet from walking around with open-toed shoes.

Great little spot for a weekend getaway. Love having a personal pool and hot tub. It’s a little weird being so close to other houses in the area but it’s a good spot for a relaxing night away. Close to a few necessity restaurants and store if you forget anything.

This was an incredible experience! I loved the privacy. We had a hot tub, stock tank pool and hammock. We loved everything about our stay! And the bed was so comfortable!! Easy access and clear instructions. And they were VERY responsive to us when we had a question at 10pm!!

Luxurious Hill Country Glamping

My wife and I had a great time! We had a few small issues but Sarah & Chase were extremely quick to our respond and make corrections so HUGE props to them. They really do take care of you if a problem occurs! Thank you guys for a great time. It was the escape we needed! We will be coming back in The future 🙂

21st birthday getaway

Lux Glamping With Private Hot Tub

We went celebrating a 21st birthday as we wanted to get away to a retreat instead of going to bars and clubs. I will say we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect trip and birthday and the host were extremely friendly. During the night we saw some kitties and late at night heard some foxes which make a somewhat scary but interesting sound and overall it was a trip to remember. The amenities like the hot tub and a hammock, and nice bathrooms/showers made the time we spent there as apposed to other places so much more worth it and we will definitely be recommending this place to anyone who asks where to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle. I’d give it 5 stars and we hopefully will be coming back!

Everything was perfect! It was our first experience and it will not be the last. The hot tub was amazing. We burnt our food but outside if that. I was amazing.

Luxurious Hill Country Glamping

Overall this place would get a 2.5 stars in my and my husband’s opinion. At night is was very pretty. In my honest opinion it was very highly priced for what we got. There’s nothing to do around the area besides get in the hot tub . I should’ve looked more into it before I bought it. We had stuff to do s’mores , we were very excited & we couldn’t even light the fire pit & sit around the fire due to them having a “burn ban” that was not listed in the description at all. We were told about the burn ban around 11pm the night before we came & at that point couldn’t do anything about it. Also we could hardly sleep due to the dogs all around the area (they sounded like they were right next to us) , they were barking all day & night ! & last but not least , when we arrived the tint did not smell great & the covers smelled like dogs . We brought our own pillows and covers thank goodness. I hate to be this person but yes overall , I would not recommend. Maybe if the price was more reasonable but the cleaning part, that has to be fixed for sure. I’m a business owner of a salon in my town , so I know ! Providing a clean area for high paying guest is very important & as far as the dogs barking , day and night, if someone is paying that much to stay in a “quite relaxing” area. Be sure It is quiet, not like we’re sleeping outside a dog shelter. The burn ban should be listed or told to guest before buying. It was 50 degrees outside last night & this morning. It would’ve been lovely.

Luxury Glamping With Hot Tub

Had a great short glamping trip. The tent was very nice, clean, and had more amenities than we expected. Loved the private, secluded site, and the hot tub was a nice touch. Bed was actually very comfortable too. Could also see a lot of stars at night. First time in Canyon Lake and it’s a super chill place, went and checked out the lake on our way back home. Will definitely be back one day.

We loved our camp site! The pool was absolutely needed in this Texas heat. The bed was very comfortable, we slept like angels. The bathrooms/showers are amazingly beautiful. The sky view…..perfect!!!!!! The love and work was definitely put in this beautiful camp site.

Glamping Getaway with Hot Tub & A/C

This was our first time "Glamping" and we really enjoyed the experience. The set up is very nice. Well made tents with mini fridge, a/c, and comfortable bed makes it seem like a hotel room. Throw in a private hot tub, clean showers, bathroom, the wonderful outdoors and it makes a wonderful experience.

The campsite was clean and equipped with everything I could need. The property was mostly quiet, though you could definitely hear some street noise in the middle of the night. It offered a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a cup of coffee and the sunrise in the morning. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
