We searched and searched looked at a lot of properties North of the Woodlands, to build our home. Once you start down the driveway you'll see the lake through the trees, making the rough 5-mile ride worth it.

You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites. However, we do have enough property to accommodate large parties, reunions or any other type of get-togethers.

You might hear the sounds of the coyotes yipping in the night or perhaps one of the great horned owls calling out from a big oak tree.
You may also see some deer, rabbits, squirrels and even armadillos.

Enjoy a weekend getaway on this 7.6 acres primitive land. Sunsets and star gazing are amazing here. Bring your tent and setup in 2 different camp areas or wherever you prefer. Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees.
Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites.
There is a pond towards the back of the property. No swimming allowed! There are fishes in there you can fish but only catch and release. You can drive up towards the pond if the ground is dry but do not attempt when it’s wet as dirt is very soft and you can get stuck.
Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind.
We do have neighbors so please be mindful and we ask to please be careful with animals around the property since it’s only partially fenced, animals can come in and out looking for food or shelter so be aware of that once you book a stay. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service.

The pond is stocked with bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch.
There is also a small island we call “Angel Island” that you can fish from or just sit on the deck with your favorite beverage and enjoy the view.
There is a riding/walking trail that is approximately 0.7 miles in distance and basically encompasses the perimeter of the back area.
Walking is common, bikes are welcome and small 4 wheelers are also welcome. No side by sides please.
You won’t be over crowded here as we currently only have 7 total camping sites. However, we do have enough property to accommodate large parties, reunions or any other type of get-togethers.
Come see us and enjoy time away from the fast paced city!
You might hear the sounds of the coyotes yipping in the night or perhaps one of the great horned owls calling out from a big oak tree.
You may also see some deer, rabbits, squirrels and even armadillos.

Enjoy a weekend getaway on this 7.6 acres primitive land. Sunsets and star gazing are amazing here. Bring your tent and setup in 2 different camp areas or wherever you prefer. Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees.
Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites.
There is a pond towards the back of the property. No swimming allowed! There are fishes in there you can fish but only catch and release. You can drive up towards the pond if the ground is dry but do not attempt when it’s wet as dirt is very soft and you can get stuck.
Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind.
We do have neighbors so please be mindful and we ask to please be careful with animals around the property since it’s only partially fenced, animals can come in and out looking for food or shelter so be aware of that once you book a stay. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.
Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service.

Paula did EXCELLENT at responding fast and appropriately she did a great job helping me find my way throughout the property. 2 out houses as long as showers ,benches, fire pits, pond with Dock, etc. Pond was too low to fish in but I’d think it would be way better to come back closer to spring. My kids had a blast. There's a little playground. Getting to see new baby goats was the best thing ever. Lots of area to explore. We got to see many different kinds of mushrooms in the woods.(just looked, didn't pick any). The cabin was nice. Had spots for everyone. We will be back in the spring for berry season!

If you’re looking for a relaxing adventure with all the comforts of home, this is the perfect stay. The host was amazing—friendly, helpful, and incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had. We brought our RV and were able to camp right alongside my sister, who rented the Airstream for Thanksgiving, which made the experience even more special.
The property itself was beautiful. We spent our days exploring the trails and enjoying the local wildlife, and our evenings were filled with cozy campfire vibes and plenty of s’mores. It was the ideal blend of comfort and outdoor fun. We can’t recommend this stay enough and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Stewart’s Cove in Cabin 3! Gene was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the cabin itself was clean and comfortable with great water pressure and a beautiful view. I had so much fun with my pup at the ranch! It was a wonderful experience and one I absolutely want to have again. My dog and I were able to explore the property and I love that he was able to be off leash. He is a very well behaved dog and it was lovely he got to be wild and free. The dock is big and we had one of the best star gazing nights ever. Really big sky! The road noise is the only negative which I read in other posts. Excellent camping spots offering privacy and convenience. We set up camp near the pond, which has lovely views and multiple great spots for tents. The toilet were near the camp sites, but far enough away to offer privacy. The dogs absolutely loved being off leash and running around the pond. There is a little bit of traffic noise, but overall a wonderful stay.
