Enjoy a weekend getaway on this 7.6 acres primitive land. Sunsets and star gazing are amazing here. Bring your tent and setup in 2 different camp areas or wherever you prefer. Fires are permitted in the fire pits that are provided in two different areas of the land. Our land is divided in the middle where you are able to park. Bikes and atvs are welcome, there are trails for walking, a small hill by the pond that you can easily hike and open areas where atvs can fit all around the perimeter of the property. If an area isn’t open don’t attempt to use for your own safety. You can gather firewood from branches or trees that are laying around the property. Please do not cut or harm any trees. Because this is a primitive camping site there is no water or electricity. Make sure you bring your own drinking water or for any personal use. Compost Bathrooms will have some water for showering but if this runs out you will have to provide your own, these bathrooms are covered with 3 walls but are pretty private a few feet away from the campsites. There is a pond towards the back of the property. No swimming allowed! There are fishes in there you can fish but only catch and release. You can drive up towards the pond if the ground is dry but do not attempt when it’s wet as dirt is very soft and you can get stuck. Trash bins are not provided so please carry out your trash. Please help us maintain our land clean. Since there is so many acres we are still in the process of cleaning out what the other owners left behind. We do have neighbors so please be mindful and we ask to please be careful with animals around the property since it’s only partially fenced, animals can come in and out looking for food or shelter so be aware of that once you book a stay. A train passes near by too so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Any other questions you may have feel free to message me and I will respond as soon as possible. There is phone reception in this area so you don’t have to worry about losing cellphone service. *if you are bringing any pets and wish to keep them off leash we are not responsible for any harm. Well maintained and decent property. Beautiful stars to look up upon. Paula did EXCELLENT at responding fast and appropriately she did a great job helping me find my way throughout the property. 2 out houses as long as showers ,benches, fire pits, pond with Dock, etc. Pond was too low to fish in but I’d think it would be way better to come back closer to spring. Thanks a lot Mrs Paula!

Paula is so sweet and accommodating, very quick to return calls and messages. The site has its own style of charm and feels very private and secluded. The dock is big and we had one of the best star gazing nights ever. Really big sky! The road noise is the only negative which I read in other posts. It seemed like background noise to me but kept others awake. Overall We had a great time. Thanks Paula!

Excellent camping spots offering privacy and convenience. We set up camp near the pond, which has lovely views and multiple great spots for tents. The toilet were near the camp sites, but far enough away to offer privacy. The dogs absolutely loved being off leash and running around the pond. There is a little bit of traffic noise, but overall a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our time on Paula’s land! The Golden Hour was beautiful by the pond, with almost 180 degrees view of sunset. We chose to tent camp right by the pond. My boys got to fish and we saw quite a few critters - frogs, turtles, and a few snakes. You can hear the highway, but it wasn’t an issue for us. The main campsite was beautiful too, but we liked having close access to the pond. Our dog is use to off leash, so this was perfect for him. Paula’s neighbor has dogs, but our dog doesn’t wander away from us so we did not have any issues with that. My kids loved the hammock swing. I loved having a fire pit for grilling and Dutch oven cooking. The dock was perfect for stargazing at night. Paula was helpful and made us feel very welcome!

I loved camping on the property, the spots are nice and secluded and there was a really nice deck to view the pond from. Around the fire pits there are string lights to help you see at night. Perfect site for a large group, we will be back!

Paula was awesome and the sites are definitely secluded. And very pretty. The only negative was noise issues from two highways that border very close to two sides of the property. We kept hoping the noise would die down and it did around 2AM but picked back up around 5. If highway noise’s don’t bother you then it is awesome! Unfortunately, I am a light sleeper as is my wife. That said, we still liked it enough to want to stay the entire three days that we booked but it rained when it was supposed to be sunny on the second day and the forecast was for more rain and high winds so we left after only one night. Paula was very kind and refunded us for the two nights that we didn’t stay without our asking her to.
