Our location is phenomenal we are an hour from Knoxville and Asheville and just about 1/4 mile off I-40. Right at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains and 35 minutes from Gatlinburg about 40 minutes to Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), also about 45 minutes to Sevierville and one of my favorite Tanger Outlets!! The beautiful Smoky Mountains the National Park is filled with hiking trails and horse stables and trails. Some of the best white water rafting is less then 5 miles up the road along with zip lining and a lil taste of moonshine here and there.
This property is primitive with no electric and has a camping style bathhouse. IT’s recommended for outdoor lovers and people that are not too needy. Hurricane Helene brought unforecasted changes in the land but the tranquility of the River remains. We have worked to restore as much as we could. As for us it’s still our happy place in the Smoky Mountains!

This is a very large private site with no other campers. We provide a large amount of firewood (bring something to split larger logs if desired). If you require more wood than supplied there will be an additional $25 charge. We also provide a fifty five gallon drum of water for washing and a five gallon container of drinking water. We have an outhouse that is sanitized prior to your arrival. You will have access to two swimming areas on Big creek where you can float or just take a dip and cool off. Greenbrier Tn. one of the first settlements here in the National park is only a scenic 30 minute scenic drive from the farm which will takes you through the arts and crafts community while avoiding the hectic hustle and bustle of town .
While visiting Greenbrier you can find a picnic area near the river and an outdoor pavilion with a large grill for your special events located there .
Several trail heads are located there in the Greenbrier community including Brushy Mountain trail Old settlers trail (several old settlements can easily be found here) Porters Gap trail.
There are too many local attractions to list within 15 to 25 minute drive , from horseback riding . tubing, rafting , smoky mountain gravity park to shopping outlet malls . READ !! My Family and I absolutely loved our stay at Mark's property..The Creek and Swimming area were great and there is also alot of Great area's to Adventure around near by(we had our 4 wheelers and side by side(YES, Plenty of room to park your vehicle with a trailer)Just be Curtious!..Mark is a very pleasant and helpful host and really wants your stay to be a good one..Great personality!! He has a very nice and well stocked Snack Shack for Ice, Candy, Soda, Chips, or even a cold Ice cream on a warm afternoon, which was nice after Hiking around or Swimming..My Grandchildren loved to walk down and visit Marks animals as well.. We will definitely be returning visitors in the future!!

Though listed as a primarily RV site, we tent camped. The grass was cut low so we had no problem setting up. The views are incredible and the area is very quiet. The road behind the site has almost no traffic because there are only a couple more houses up the road. John and Jenni were great and, it turns out, own another site we stayed at last year! Sit by the fire, watch the mists roll in and out, and enjoy the long-range views!

The directions were very clear and this spot was a true gem! We had great interactions with the staff working on the farm while we set up camp and got to greet a few horses. The facilities were working and it was a very fun experience, even in the rain! We felt very safe and had a wonderful time. As a young couple new to camping, this is a great spot and I would recommend it first everyone! Families, experienced and new campers looking for a change of scenery, friends, couples, solos, etc!

My wife and I spent three nights here for a little get away, and it was amazing! Wood was available on site for purchase, the bath house was in good shape and the campsites were clean and easy to find! The host was INCREDIBLE! We had an issue with our vehicle battery, and they came to save the day! We will be returning in the future and we highly recommend camping here!

I dont know where to start on how wonderful my trip was. I arrived and Mark helped me set up my tent (I was there alone with my three dogs) and also helped me set up a run line for them. Dogs are allowed off leash so I took advantage of that too. There is endless space to explore and its quiet and private and beautiful. There is endless miles of creek to explore and one spot is great for swimming (dogs and people). The water is crystal clear. The views from the field at sunrise and sunset are breathtaking, and Mark and his wife go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have what you need. They even gave me five more gallons of drinking water. The bathroom is also super clean too. I spent an entire day sitting by that swimming hole with my dogs alternating between drawing, reading, and swimming with the dogs. For almost a week I felt my stress melt away and didnt have an ounce of anxiety and was so happy and relaxed. I will 100% be back here again and again.

We really enjoyed the glamping experience at Clare! When we first arrived on the property, we were greeted by horses that were lined up on the fence. The tent was well equipped with solar lighting on the porch, battery for chargers, lanterns, easy availability to purchase fire wood. We appreciated the camping potty near the tent in the middle of the night, just wasn’t sure what to do with the used bags as there wasn’t instructions in the welcome folder. The outdoor shower was a fun experience and the view of the stars was magnificent!

This was a beautiful place. It was close to Knoxville and to Sevierville, but out of the traffic. It was very close to I40, and was very easy to find, even in the dark. You could hear the interstate traffic from the property, but not bad enough to inhibit sleep if you ran a fan or something. I was a little hesitant at first about the (outdoor) shower, which I had to ask about in order to locate. It's on the front of the stable building, which feels very exposed. That's the side of the building that faces the road, and incoming drive. However, there was no traffic in there at night time and we were usually the only guests. I just used it at night time, and it was actually kind of nice since you could see the stars some. The water was plenty hot, and it was a nice shower head. I could see this being a little awkward if you were there with many other guests and/or they were having maybe a wedding or other similar event out there at the same time. The "stable" looks set up inside for a wedding venue. So, I assume that's what it's usually used for. I stayed at the tent/cabin that was up the road from the other 3, which are fairly close together, and it was very private up there. However, the hill up there is pretty steep, and there isn't anywhere flat to park. That may not matter to most people, since they probably plan to sleep in the tent/cabin, but I let my dad sleep in there and I needed to crash in my converted van. So, I had to seek flatter ground. Just something to note.
