Welcome to our creekside camping oasis, where nature's beauty surrounds you at every turn! Nestled on 50 acres of pristine land, our campground offers over a half-mile of creekfront access, and 25 acres of mountain forest with hiking trails ,and also trails along the creek providing the perfect setting for outdoor adventures and relaxation alike. Situated just 300 feet from the scenic Clinch River, outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities for mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking. Simply float under the bridge to access the river and embark on a serene paddling adventure. For those seeking a peaceful retreat, our campground offers four distinct lots to choose from. Lot 1 features Clinch River access under the bridge ,fire pits, picnic tables, covered swings with picnic tables for adults, and a swing set for the kids, making it an ideal spot for family fun and gatherings. Lot 2,3,4 offers picnic table, firepit, campfire grill, 35 acres of hiking trails along side the creek, or if you are more adventurous mountain hiking trails with a more private and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the soothing sounds of nature. Lots are equipped with electric outlets for added convenience, and a port-o-potty is available on-site for your convenience, also pergolas and pavilions at or near each site. Whether you're roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, splashing in the creek, or simply soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds you, our creekside camping experience promises memories that will last a lifetime. Site 2 is beautifully located creekside, with this lot being a huge and more private lot. On this 2 acres of creekside with plenty room to roam the creekside trails ,Firepit and picnic table and fire pit grills on site . Port o potty is close by , 110v electricity on site . Great place to relax by the sound of the water !

Site 1 is beautifully located creekside only 300 ft from the Clinch River, small fish in the creek, some deeper spots for creek play, according on water level, and the river located just under the bridge a kayak can can gain access through the bridge to the river . Firepit on site, campfire grill, picnic tables on site, electric outlet on site, port o potty on site, covered swings for adults and also a big swing and slide for kids !

If you have feral children like us then this is a great place to go relax and unwind by the creek with a large area to do so without the worry of having other campers right beside you like most campgrounds. Very nice and well kept we will definitely be back! Awesome place to splash around in the creek (watch for snakes it is a creek lol) ,with some nice trails at the site and Elrods falls/Clinch river close by as well. Very easily accessible from the road with a little road noise but still quieter than a big packed campground.

I have been to many campgrounds, I still like to travel with a tent rather than use a hotel. And I have to say this is without peer the nicest campground I have ever been to for a solo man who just wants to be left alone. Tent site on a creek with 2 acres of space just at my site. Garbage, porta john, fireplace and charcoal grill all come standard. The owner is very flexible about working with you on reservations and payments, and even gave me tips for the local area. I could not have asked for anything else and look forward to going back again soon.

The site was really clean and easy to find! It is perfect for a day trip with your family with creek access. We were suppose to camp but was unable to stay the night due to weather. We have two small children and didn’t want to risk a flash flood on the creek. However, I don’t think I would have enjoyed sleeping there because of the road noise. You are right next to the road and at some points I couldn’t hear the person across from me if a loud truck drove by. Other then that it was super nice! Also, don’t plan to float the river when it says there is river access under the bridge like we did. I would be hesitant to try to get to the river from under the bridge in a tube specially with kids. You want to hire someone to drop you off and pick you up somewhere else.

I enjoyed the majority of my stay. Nice little area around the picnic table - the bird life was incredible. The only downside is you are right next to a road that is surprisingly busy sunday nights and monday mornings!

Peaceful and quiet lightning bugs everywhere we truly enjoyed our night there The only thing I was upset about was when it said that the campsite was 300 ft from the river I figured that meant we would have access to the river but that's just on me.

I had a great time despite having to work while I stayed. It was very private and I had the whole campground to myself. No one bothered me and I felt very safe. He even brought me firewood and it was waiting for me when I got there. The port-o-potty was clean and the yard was mowed. The creek is very pleasant to listen to while staring at the fire. There was an electric hookup, but no running water. You can get water from the creek if you have a filter. But Sneedville is a 5 minute drive. They have dollar stores, a grocery store, and a couple restaurants. 10/10 will stay again.

After many visits, this was my first time solo tent camping at Out on the Creek. I appreciate the care taken to ensure each guest has a great experience. The grounds are ALWAYS very well maintained. The large (and always clean) picnic table, fire pit, & cooking grates, charcoal grill, & 110 electric appreciated. This year they added a beautiful wooden swing with shade canopy which I spent most of my time on! The creek was too cold yet to play, so I enjoyed watching & listening to it. It's always a pleasure to visit. Still my favorite campsite!

We loved camo site 1! It was clean and well maintained with a play area for the kids and a nice gazebo with swings and picnic table. William was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Only thing that could make this place any better would be an outdoor showering spot! My family loved our first camping trip, out on the creek definitely started a new tradition for us!

Site #2 was amazing. Every thing I hoped for. The only drawback is road traffic noise and dogs barking all night. But I will return. I was lovely and well maintained off grid. I left a night early because of the neighbor hood barking

My husband and I loved our stay at site number two. The host takes great care in making sure the site is perfect and ready for you to enjoy your stay! We were looking for a clean creek area free of glass for our dogs to play in and this was just the place. If you are looking for the same thing, this site is an awesome option for kids or animals! The host is very responsive and makes sure that you are taken care of and have everything you need. The only complaint we had is that the site is right by the highway and the road traffic noise is very high, it didn't stop us from enjoying the place but it may be something to watch out for. Aside from that, we highly recommend site 2 and we will definitely be back!!!
