What a great experience with wonderful hosts! Mary and Steve are fabulous communicators and helpful with the stay and amenities while allowing privacy as well. The best of both worlds!! The location was great for us, pretty views, relaxing, and private enough while being close to the action. There are plenty of things to do at the site and on the lake or you can visit attractions. Mary offered up some food suggestions that were different and amazing. Ryder even made a new friend. Thanks Wiggy for being patient! Well worth the trip and we hope to visit again. Thank you!!!

Lakefront Woods Campsite
We had such an enjoyable weekend staying here! You’re basically right on the lake and the owners were so welcoming and generous. They have this “boat house” where you are able to use their canoe, life jackets and inflatable floaties. The lake was peaceful and the campsite, while near other homes, felt very secluded. We can’t wait to come back 😌
Mary and Steve’s place was so lovely! The campsite looks down on the lake providing quite spectacular sunsets! The hosts are extremely accommodating and even helped us get backed in the spot in the pouring rain! You also have access to their pavilion if they mention it. You can tell they love hosting and will do anything in their power to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.
We used our own chairs to sit in the shade of our rig instead of the fire pit chairs because the sun is directly over the pit. We would certainly recommend this site to anyone who loves a good lake view.

Lakefront Woods Campsite
This was an amazing campsite, and we ended up loving it so much that we stayed an extra night! The lakefront setting is absolutely beautiful, with great views and easy access to the water. The lake was a beautiful green color, clean, and easily swimmable, which made spending time by the water even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was having access to a canoe, and the hosts went above and beyond by helping us get it into the water.
The hosts were fantastic throughout our stay- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. Despite being on a shared property, the site felt surprisingly private and peaceful, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Another great feature is that the hosts mentioned there are multiple campsites on the property that can be rented together, making this a great option for larger families or groups who want to camp near each other while still having their own space.
Honestly, we couldn’t find any downsides to our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would gladly return. Highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway with exceptional hosts.

Lakefront Woods Campsite
We had an absolutely amazing trip! Mary and her husband Steve, are the kindest people!! They worked so hard to make sure we had a nice time! They checked on us prior to arrival to offer any help we may need with directions or setting up our site! Upon arrival, the site was very easy to pull in to with our camper and boat in tow! The view was incredible, and the water was so close! We let the dogs swim! We had some storms during the night, and they were so kind to check on us! We loved having the hook ups for our camper, and had plenty of room to set up our screened porch! The sun finally came out, and they helped us put our boat in! They are currently building some new docks which we look forward to using next time, but we had no problems launching the boat from the driveway! We were able to enjoy the sunset on the water! It was an amazing trip, and we were so thankful for their thoughtfulness and quick responses to our questions! Cannot wait to go back!! Highly recommend this hipcamp!
This is the best of the best! Perfect spot for lakefront camping. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Will %100 do it again very soon.

Lakefront Woods Campsite
This site was on a lake -perfect if you have a dog that likes to swim! The directions were great, keep in mind the roads to the site were sometimes steep and winding. The host was very responsive and we enjoyed a lovely peaceful night here!
Gorgeous Property! Easy in and out with the camper. Even though the house was nearby it was VERY private and quiet. I can't wait to come back soon and stay longer. I haven't found any lakefront property with access this good in the area. When I come back through I will bring our boat! Amazing sunset. Very welcoming host!
