Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid. Quail Run Farm

We have a working farm with sweeping views of Lookout mountain and only 12 minutes from all the comforts of downtown Chattanooga. Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. We are almost finished building our outdoor bathroom facilities, if you visit before they are complete please use the blue pop up tents or the barn toilet for a real rustic feel. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent. You may also rent the pool if available and in season. Embracing farm life is not just an adventure but also a valuable learning opportunity, whether you're a family or an individual seeking a taste of the countryside lifestyle. Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. The latest improvement is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove and running water. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10 minute drive to firetower rd brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities! We look forward to hosting you!

The Limberlost

We searched for 3 years to find the perfect piece of land. We found it in our 45 acre wooded piece of heaven. There is a 5 acre pasture, a half acre pond, a creek, and the rest is a beautiful mix of hardwood and pine. We are working on building a small cabin next to the pasture, and have cut trails through most of the property. We have one developed campsite, and plan to create more. Learn more about this land: We have a Tentsile 3 person tent, and there is a large Tentsile hammock. *[There is an age limit for anyone camping in the Tentsile tent. We ask that no one under the age of 8 climbs up into the tent.] There is also a 6 person tent, on the ground, if being in the trees is not your thing. There is a short 0.4 mile walk to the campsite that takes about 7 minutes to walk. We will bring all your stuff up for you. The camp site is on hill over looking the creek. It is located on one of the back corners of our 45 acre wooded property. We have made trails throughout, so there is plenty to explore. We are just a short 15 minute drive from Parksville Lake, and white water rafting on the Occoee. This campsite is a 10 minute walk from the main house, and you will have total privacy. There is also a pond and fishing boat, hammocks and swing by the creek, chickens, peacocks and flower gardens on the property.
