This is a property I purchased in 2018 to create a camping experience that reflected the image of camping as a kid. This isn’t a "hotel without walls" like state parks and KOA's/ This is real camping. No neighbors. No electric wires. Just nature and beauty in a quiet environment. Clothing optional sites available and great space for small events and large groups. Get lost or find yourself relaxing along the Rocky River. Stay in a hammock, a tent, camper, RV, or one of our cabins. Privacy and freedom is what we are about. Pet friendly camping that should be shared, but please don't tell everyone you know. We are using the animals and permaculture techniques to repair this land to a vibrant, productive place. We also have ducks, beehives, gardens and a 2200 square foot hoop-house, and we homeschool 3 boys as well. We have a farm store with a variety of soaps and personal care products, as well as farm products such as homegrown and ground cornmeal, granola made with our duck eggs, herbal teas and herbs, tanned sheepskins, etc. The farm tours are 1-1.5 hours, the "Junior Tour" is largely meet-the-animals, but also a stroll through the hoop-house, and whatever else may be available (ducklings, bottle feeding goat kids or alpaca crias, etc). Loved our time at Solace Farm! A very peaceful property with a wonderful agricultural operation going on. You can tell the family pours their hearts into what they do! We booked a "Junior Farm Tour" and enjoyed our time walking around the farm with the kids as we learned about the animals, gardens, etc. The Meadow Site has a great sunset view - secluded and peaceful!

It was very secluded and truly felt like no one was around. I was looking fir privacy and this site was it. Short little walk to the river that even has a swing for your enjoyment. Chris made sure my stay was perfect. Highly recommend.

Chris’s place was so much fun! The creek provided endless entertainment for the kids, and tranquil vibes for us all. The pine forest behind the camp was also the perfect place for our hammocks and many games of hide and seek. There was a fire ring at the campsite and plenty of soft grassy spots for our tents. We also had some of the fresh eggs in the morning that were delicious. We can’t wait to come back.

Chis’s campsite was absolutely incredible! The land felt so open and free, with wide spaces that made it easy to just relax and take it all in. There’s something about being surrounded by nature and trees here that gives you a real sense of adventure and excitement. The river was the highlight for me—it was beautiful, peaceful, and added such a special touch to the whole experience. Sitting by the water and listening to it flow was the perfect way to start and end the day. If you’re looking for a place that feels both wild and refreshing, this spot is exactly that. The land, the freedom, and the beauty of the river make it a campsite I’ll never forget

Loved our stay at Chris's land! He met us upon arrival and chose our site based off our needs and it was perfect. The river is lovely with a nice swing and we even heard whippoorwills. Slept like babies under the stars! This was very easy to find and a great choice for camping when visiting this area with so many parks and waterfalls.
