We absolutely loved our stay at The Property at Mull Valley. It was the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience—tucked away in the woods, super quiet and private, but still just a short drive to downtown Blue Ridge. The surrounding trees and peaceful trails made it feel like our own personal forest, and we really appreciated the thoughtful amenities Mateo provided. Whether we were sipping coffee outside or exploring the nearby walking trails, everything about this stay felt relaxing and well cared for. We’ll definitely be back!

Went Rooftop Tent camping with my youngest and my dog to check this place out. Even though it rained 90 percent of our stay and we had a blowout on the trailer tire on the way home, I've already booked another stay with the rest of the family in a few weeks. That's how nice this place is. Boats, fish, shower, firewood, peace and quiet, This place is a gem and there is nothing about staying here that you will regret.

Hands down the most peaceful camping spot we’ve found in 20+ years! Mull Valley was pure serenity—private trail, a sweet little creek, and total quiet. We left relaxed and recharged. Can’t wait to come back!

4 nights at Deer Valley RV Park

It was a great spot! Quiet, low-key and close to groceries, food, etc. There’s only four RV spots, and so it was real mellow, hardly even ever saw the two other people that were there at the same time as me. The sound of traffic can be heard in the distance, but it dies down at night and is not beyond what one could expect when close to all the conveniences. There are only four RV spots and their next to a few scattered houses on the same area of land so it makes you feel like you’re part of a little community, though I never really saw anybody. I would definitely stay again when I’m passing through the area.

We would rate Cayman as a five-star host. We also think the actual RV site was very clean and efficient with all utilities. Our hosts went out of their way to make us comfortable and content. The hosts communication skills kept us up to date on all conditions. We enjoyed Cayman's fresh venison tacos and made sure we purchased fresh eggs out of their hen house. Very close proximity to Chattanooga with lots to do for an extended stay.

3 nights at Smith Mountain Camping

My friend and I were looking for a place to tent camp this weekend and I happened to come across Stephen’s campsite—fortunately for us, the site with a view of the surrounding mountains was available. Stephen was a great host, checked in with us via the app when we arrived & made sure that we had everything we needed for the weekend. The port-a-potty was clean and conveniently located, firewood is available on-site, and because there are only 4 sites, this is a super peaceful place to spend a weekend. The location is very convenient too, because you’re only half a mile from the main highway. If you’re looking for a chill, quiet, peaceful place to camp in the Ocoee area, definitely check out Stephen’s place—it’s just beautiful!! Our only regret was that we didn’t get to stay for the last night because we got rained out, but we will be back!

Very new well maintained! Easy in and out. We did not even unhook our fifth wheel. Sites were quite level and like I said the infrastructure is new water, power, and sewer. No issues at all. Great place to stay for a few nights or just one. The only trick is you need to sign in through hip camp, they are a partner with Harvest host, but you cannot sign in through that app.

This is a beautiful camping spot! We loved the fire pit with the adjustable grill attached. There’s just something about a steak cooked over a campfire 🔥 that can’t be beat. The site was very spacious with lots of green grass for our pups to play and roll in. The reflection of the trees on the pond was picturesque. Peaceful is an understatement. Randy was very easy going, quick to respond, and helped us with an item we had forgot. We will be back as soon as we can! I would highly recommend!

Off the grid, out of the way, rustic 10 acres where you can pitch a tent, take a hike and enjoy a campfire. Mostly wooded with nearby sites to explore, a few swings for fun (swings have recently been removed due to trees falling) and a fantastically cold SEASONAL mountain creek for cooling off. Always improving our place, we recently removed the 'cabins', which were unsuitable for use. The property is part of a community, which you may notice on the way to the campsite. Site 1 (The Swings) will be first left after you turn into the driveway. It is a U shaped drive, at the bottom of the U, park and walk 15 feet to site. Site 2 (Main Container) is at the end of main driveway, next to container. Drive to end of driveway, park and walk 10 feet to camp. Both are equidistant to the outhouse. Please look through all of the listing information. The road into The Land is gravel and some bedrock; high ground clearance vehicles are best but all vehicles can make the journey. Very tough to navigate in the dark. GPS will NOT get you there, please do not use GPS or map on listing. We will send detailed directions the day before your booking. Follow those in the daylight and you'll be fine. Please know your poison ivy, ticks and copperheads; they all exist at The Land. Just drive slowly and navigate as needed. The buildings (*all buildings have recently been removed) on the land were built with lumber cut from the property. Previous owners farmed rabbits and had a system in place for water. The SEASONAL creek at the bottom of the slope is wonderful and there is a spot for two adults to sit down into the crisp water and plenty of room for lots of feet. If you follow the path in the middle of the property, a 30 minute walk (therefore not on our property) will take you to a beautiful swimming hole. It's cold! There is no power or running water at the property so it's an ideal place to get away from daily life and truly relax. We hope you will enjoy it as much as our family does! Please read everything on this listing. Please note that even though some pictures show buildings, there are no longer cabins/shelter on The Land. We are unable to remove pictures Hipcampers post. It is raw 10 acres so, yes there are ticks. Cover up and spray as you see fit, just be aware. Also, since it is 10 acres of trees, there is plenty of firewood. We don't leave any bundles, just find down limbs and presto, firewood. DO NOT USE THE MAP LISTED OR GOOGLE MAPS. It will take you straight through water. Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid. Renegade Acres is a mixture of mostly open fields divided by woods with a creek winding through the property and another at the back of the grounds. Some sites have direct access to the water, while some require a brief walk. The larger creek on the back has some nice fishing holes while the smaller creek is good for wading and cooling off. The primitive camp sites range from single tent to multiple tents allowing for either some quiet time to yourself, or a group gathering. There is also the option of camping in the fields or set back into the trees a bit. All sites have a fire pit. Wood can be purchased on your way in or at the managers office on site. You are welcome to grab kindling from the wooded areas, but we respectfully request that no live trees be cut or damaged. We welcome dogs and kids, but ask that dogs be leashed and that kids are respectful of the other guests and the land. All sites except for the RV slots are primitive, meaning there is no water, electric, or bathroom facilities. Composting toilets (coming soon) will be spaced throughout the grounds. If for some reason you require additional water, use of electric, or Wi-Fi, you can contact the office for assistance. The manager lives on-site and is there most evenings and weekends. The RV sites have electric and water hook up but no sewer. Tents are not permitted on the RV sites, but if required, may be set up in the field near the RV site.
