3.5 acre property, last remaining part of old inlet horse farm, with plenty of natural buffers from the few neighbors in our vicinity and between our camp sites, as well as the road. So close to everything the inlet area has to offer. Beaches, tidal inlet with boat ramps, Waccamaw River with boat ramps, restaurants, shops, bars, State Parks, nature preserves, fun attractions and much, much more, all just moments away. We are set up as a “primitive” camping experience, the property is kept very natural, unmanicured for the most part, little to no herbicides or insecticides used here. It’s a work in progress, is difficult for me to tackle chores due to physical disabilities, so some private areas are disorganized at this time. I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range.
I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free.
Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome.
I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

This property is unimproved and unmaintained raw natural land. The entire property is surrounded by a farm drainage ditch on all sides, with random farm drainage ditches to insure the land is dry and a 60’ x 60’ old farm irrigation pond (see satellite photo to know where the ditches are located). There is plenty of seasoned raw wood (from when the property was cleared 4 years ago) laying randomly throughout the property to cut and collect for a camp fire. The land is located off a dirt access road that is well maintained by the county. The county dirt road can provide for hours of peaceful riding via mountain bikes. Campers are more than welcome to cut their own path on the land for their campsite. There is a fire pit by the large tree when first entering the property at Entrance 2 (please see photos for the locations of Entrance 1 and 2). Note: This raw land is unmaintained and was last cleared 4 years ago, photos are from April 2022. There is a video tour posted on youtube of the property, which can be navigated to via our twitter site link that is shared here as our website address. Please note as of 2025, we have 2 parking areas roped off with yellow rope, one parking area is 20’ x 50’ with crushed aggregate the other parking area is 20’ x 45’. This area is camping in the raw, a designated resting spot for a Camper Van, it is not for an amateur as clearing brush may be necessary and is priced accordingly no frills. Campers will likely will be greeted by friendly neighbors now as opposed to long ago. We understand the previous problem left. :-)

I spent a few days here in early December and just extended for the next month. It’s a charming, rural spot with full amenities at all sites, bathrooms including showers, washer and dryer. Pet friendly with trails to take my dog for a walk. Will and Lorie have been exceptionally kind and welcoming and came to check on me during a recent cold spell. Very safe and private. There’s a nearby mobile rv technician, Mike the RV Medic who helped me repair my furnace and was very professional. Very reasonable rates for everything being offered. I highly recommend!

This is a beautiful and private spot overlooking the Waccamaw River. I extended my stay here twice because we enjoyed it so much. Plenty of dry wood for a campfire and having a porta potty on site was nice too. Definitely recommend!

This was the first tent trip for my sons. Andrew’s directions were clear and helpful. The view was spectacular and site was well maintained. He was in contact the whole time. There were several places to choose from, for tent location, and all were flat. We highly recommend this land!

Andrew was very responsive and helpful with answering all of our questions.
Place was a riverfront and really well organized with tables, fire pit, swing and most importantly toilet. Camping area was clean of all of the debris and stuff. We had great time overall.
Few things I would like to share with fellow campers and I don't think it should affect our 5 star rating.
The spot was quite dusty for us. We could see dust particles in air all the time and our cars and stuff were covered with dust after few hours.
Our fault we did not take advantage of the river front. But it would have been really nice if we brought our fishing grear of had kayaks. You could splash kayaks there.
But the downside of the river was fishermen and we even had folks came at night with bright light probably doing night fishing which made our stay not as private as we hoped to. Traffic in general was not that bad.
We wish Andrew the best of luck with his business.

Great spot by the river. Lots of privacy. Easy access for fishing. Caught some nice catfish to cook on the fire. Owner is planning on doing some upgrades. Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful spot on the river. The area had lots of shade and room for 2 trucks with trailers. The outhouse was clean and stocked with tp. We enjoyed watching the boats go up and down the river.

Scott was great! The farm was easy to find and the tent area was cozy. It was a beautiful spot right on the river with multiple options for making a fire (fire ring and old fireplace). Scott came to check on me as I was packing up after my stay to make sure everything went well.

Cute little RV in a secluded little lot. It had all the basics and Monte had the AC going and it was cool when we arrived! Had a good signal on all our phones. All the time! Was a great experience to be so close to nature and also not far of a drive to go sightseeing!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Riverfront campsite. We didn't take the opportunity to go swimming as some branches were down by the entrance of what we believed was the swimming area and we did see what we believed was a water snake when fishing the riverbank edge. Our only complaint would be a "wood pile" it looked like old fencing and though we didn't find any unwanted friends it would have been a great location for them. We was fortunate enough to also hear the owl near our site. Our daughter had a blast chasing some chickens that wandered too close and we saw many beautiful young deer in the late evenings and early mornings.
