3.5 acre property, last remaining part of old inlet horse farm, with plenty of natural buffers from the few neighbors in our vicinity and between our camp sites, as well as the road. So close to everything the inlet area has to offer. Beaches, tidal inlet with boat ramps, Waccamaw River with boat ramps, restaurants, shops, bars, State Parks, nature preserves, fun attractions and much, much more, all just moments away. We are set up as a “primitive” camping experience, the property is kept very natural, unmanicured for the most part, little to no herbicides or insecticides used here. It’s a work in progress, is difficult for me to tackle chores due to physical disabilities, so some private areas are disorganized at this time. I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range.
I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free.
Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome.
I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

This property is unimproved and unmaintained raw natural land. The entire property is surrounded by a farm drainage ditch on all sides, with random farm drainage ditches to insure the land is dry and a 60’ x 60’ old farm irrigation pond (see satellite photo to know where the ditches are located). There is plenty of seasoned raw wood (from when the property was cleared 4 years ago) laying randomly throughout the property to cut and collect for a camp fire. The land is located off a dirt access road that is well maintained by the county. The county dirt road can provide for hours of peaceful riding via mountain bikes. Campers are more than welcome to cut their own path on the land for their campsite. There is a fire pit by the large tree when first entering the property at Entrance 2 (please see photos for the locations of Entrance 1 and 2). Note: This raw land is unmaintained and was last cleared 4 years ago, photos are from April 2022. There is a video tour posted on youtube of the property, which can be navigated to via our twitter site link that is shared here as our website address. Please note as of 2025, we have 2 parking areas roped off with yellow rope, one parking area is 20’ x 50’ with crushed aggregate the other parking area is 20’ x 45’. This area is camping in the raw, a designated resting spot for a Camper Van, it is not for an amateur as clearing brush may be necessary and is priced accordingly no frills. Campers will likely will be greeted by friendly neighbors now as opposed to long ago. We understand the previous problem left. :-)

We chose this camp for our very first experience in our new travel trailer since it is close to the dealership and has a level concrete pad and FHU. It turned out to be a wonderful experience for us! Our site was clean and tucked into a grassy spot at the edge of the woods. The fire pit was charming and the wood delivered to our site was perfect for our campfire. We highly recommend this as a great overnight spot or if you have events you are attending in Conway.

There's a big smart TV not shown in the pics. David gave me the tour on everything I needed to know to get settled and connected including local restaurant recommendations. This property is absolutely beautiful!! What a treat to wake up to horses grazing while watching the sunrise. Only to be eclipsed by the sunsets. RV spots have level concrete landing pads with plenty of space to back in, fire pit and super comfortable Adirondack chairs. This Hipcamp is quiet, peaceful and gated. Just minutes from restaurants and downtown. Laurel Oaks is a must stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Laurel Oaks Estates and would absolutely return. The setting is beautiful and very nature-focused, which was exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were incredibly kind and accommodating throughout our stay, which made the experience even better.
We stayed in RV site #1, which faces the horse pasture, and it was such a peaceful view to wake up to each day. The entire property is very quiet, and you’re surrounded by the sounds of nature — lots of birds and even the calls of peacocks. From the estate and a nearby farm, you can also hear roosters and cows, which really gives it that classic Southern Lowcountry feel.
One of the things we loved most was how secluded the property feels while still being close enough to conveniences for grocery shopping and other needs. It’s a great balance of peaceful retreat and accessibility.
The RV site itself is excellent — a flat, level concrete pad with full hookups. There are two RV spots, and both are set up nicely with picnic tables, fire pits, and Adirondack chairs, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
We especially enjoyed walking our dogs along the wooded trails and exploring the other glamping options on the property. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into each camping setup.
Overall, this is a really special spot if you enjoy nature, quiet surroundings, and thoughtful accommodations.

We stayed at Laurel Oaks in our motor home and had a beautiful site (Site1). They have 2 sites with plenty of space in between with concrete pads, fire pit and chairs. The property is beautifully maintained and the host was wonderful. If you’re looking for crazy crowds and like to be jammed next to your neighbors, this is not for you. If you want to be close enough to the beach without all of the hassle, I would recommend Laurel Oaks. We will definitely be back. P.S. …. You can also order farm fresh eggs 😊

What a wonderful secluded spot to camp. We throughly enjoyed our time there for the 4th of July. It was very beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle beach but close enough to go enjoy the day. They were very accommodating and let the kids pet the horses and chickens. What a pleasant surprise to find such a jewel of a location close to everything and yet far enough away you feel like you’re out in the middle of the country. Great farm, private, secured behind automatic gate with a variety of animals to boot! The RV pad is directly across from the paddocks where there’s horses and a donkey which put on quite a show the whole time we were there. Additional there’s a large peacock that roams the property Which puts on a show of his own. For the nature, lover, and the one who wants to be out and away from everything great location. We stayed at Just Horsin around RV site 1 for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! This place is so peaceful and many trails to explore. The pond was very relaxing. Would highly recommend the fresh farm eggs..We definitely will be back
