We have three camp sites on a 200-acre parcel of secluded, rural farm land. We are a working pasture based farm where you can see how grass fed beef, pork, chicken, and eggs are produced. There's nothing quite like fresh eggs and bacon after waking up to the sunrise over a fog-filled valley! It's not uncommon to hear the coyotes howling at night. In addition to hiking trails with incredible views, there are four ponds on the property easily accessible with mown paths. One is very large with a dock and suitable for swimming, paddling, fishing, or just relaxing but the water. The other three are smaller and are now primarily wildlife habitat. easily accessible with mown paths If you're feeling adventurous, there is a more strenuous hike down into the creek bed where you can find miniature versions of the gorges and waterfalls that our region is known for. Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. Weekend Trip to Cabin Getaway

Andrea was very quick with responding to messages and the directions were very simple. Stone driveway through the field and very nice drive through the woods to get to the cabin. The cabin is very simple but cute. Outdoor sink and shower with solar powered heated water. The water was actually a little on the hot side, which surprised me but there's nothing like showering outdoors with the birds singing and seeing the trees and blue sky! Benches with the stone fire pit, hammock, a few walking paths. She has solar powered lights inside the cabin as well and outdoor light above the deck. They supply wood, but don't forget cash to put in their bucket and your fresh drinking water. This was my first solo trip as a female and the only thing that made me uncomfortable was there is no locks on the cabin doors.. I had my dog with me. She could have very easily nudge the one door handle open and gotten out, and I know I'm not the only one that would have the fear of someone or even a bear coming in through the night with that back door. Saying that, I had a great relaxing time with my dog and I definitely want to go back.

1 night at ZiegenVine Homestead

Randy, Allisson & their 2 dogs, Remington & Stormy and their friendly cat Mitzy run an amazing small country & hilly farm. Our rainy stay in the wooded cabin (no electricity, no shower) was fun and our 2 teenagers loved its uniqueness. We still managed to build a fire and BBQed outside when the sky cleared. So fun! The built & insulation of the cabin is really amazing! Randy, we really concur with you that that little wood stove really heats up fast! And I particularly loved the red bricks on the stove which reminded me of my childhood. I used to place those at the end of the bed wrapped in newspapers to keep my feet warm in the winter. So nostalgic though we did not use them. Too hot! But nevertheless, it brought back sweet memories to me! And we really loved the cozy interior string lights above the beds. Lovely touch! Hearing about Randy's love for woodworking and Allison's devotion to her farm animals was such a beautiful interaction. This stay was unique and a wonderful break from our busy & comfortable life. Thank you so much Randy & Allison! Wishing you both the very best at your farm!

4 nights at Orchard and Gorge At South Hill

This spot is so serine and relaxing that we didn’t want to go home! So much attention to detail; wood chips all around the site, a perfect little pantry to put a cook stove on and food items and utensils in, even little bed side tables next to a realty comfortable queen sized bed! We stayed four nights and brought lots of water - three big camping jugs - that lasted the whole time. It poured rain one evening but the tents are so big we could fit our camp chairs and a little table in it plus we had lights and music and food, and enjoyed a cozy and completely dry evening. We showered over at the Robert H Treman state park which is 10 minutes away. Town is also 10 minutes away with so many great bars and restaurants to visit. We enjoyed hikes on the property and at various beautiful state parks close by. The evenings gave us lovely sunsets and visits of deer, bunnies, so many birds and bats in the field gobbling up mosquitos. The two tents were well spaced, farther apart than average tent sites in a camp ground. Steve was super responsive to any questions or needs we had. I could go on and on…, I highly recommend either tent site and look forward to going back!

We loved staying on the property. The cabin was so cozy for me and my dog. Even though it rained the first night, we had plenty to do and it was peaceful having the windows open to hear the water falling on the roof and near the creek. Having the entire property to ourselves made me mini retreat even more special. The waterfall was a very short hike and we were able to sit by it and in it. We saw hundreds of fireflies the night before we left. We would definitely stay here.

Weekend Trip to Waterfall Creek

The property was beautiful! My fiancee and I stayed at the cabin for a weekend. We woke up to the sight of birds bathing in the creek right next to the cabin. The water fall on the property was spectacular and fun to take a quick dip under once the day got hot enough. It's close to Watkins Glen, so within a 30 minute drive you have access to a ton of things to do. My fiancee and I hiked through Watkins Glen State Park, visited some wineries, and grabbed home made ice cream from several amazing spots. 10/10 would recommend the cabin if you want something nicer than the cabins the state park has to offer, but still want to in nature.

3 nights at What Ever Floats Your Boat

This is a great 'glamping' basecamp for all the area has to offer (which is a lot!) Off grid with a generator for power that is easy to use when needed. Gas stove available for cooking, microwave, toaster, and drip coffee machine. There is some water provided in 5 gallon jugs for washing and drinking. There is also a water cooler that was full providing fresh, cold water for drinking. For just the weekend this was more than enough for myself. Firewood can be provided for $10/bundle or purchased in town. It is illegal to bring wood from out of state due to infestation issues. The outhouse is clean for an outhouse. You could just relax at this site if you wanted listening to the birds and the creek with nearby mini waterfall. It's extremely peaceful. The cabin is close to the road but there are rarely cars. For waterfalls and amazing hikes, Treman State Park and Buttermilk Falls State Park are closer to the camp (15-20mins) and worth the $10 alone. If you go a little further to Watkins Glen State Park (35 mins) you won't be disappointed. Aaron is very responsive and easy to communicate with and has lots of recommendations. Definitely worth staying here, I'm looking forward to returning!

Weekend Trip to Starry Fields

We had such an amazing time at Wendy and Tommy's site! The tent is 10/10 stars, super roomy and cute, with a comfortable bed and a nice little covered porch for morning coffee or yoga. We were there in June with overnight temps in the 50s or so, and stayed plenty warm inside. And we were super impressed with the toilet, outdoor shower, and kitchen set up too — they have everything you need, down to coffee grounds and a french press. We didn't get a chance to make use of the fire pit, but maybe you will. Great location tucked away on a quick road with a meadow view and a creek running behind it, just a quick jaunt up the road to Ithaca or some fun state parks. Highly recommend, we had a fabulous weekend stay!

3 nights at Sunset Shore Cabin on Private Lake

We had an amazing weekend at the cabin! It had everything we were looking for in a weekend getaway. Quiet , good fishing, stars at night, relaxing on the deck or by the fire, kayaks and canoeing. We will definetly be rebooking in the future!
