I am 25 minutes from Wellsboro PA and the Pa Grand Canyon with a 62 mile rail trail, bike and kayak rentals are 40 minutes away, one hour to Finger lakes, locally there is lots of hiking, fishing and exploring. 4 wheel drive maybe needed in winter for my driveway.

Thanks for checking us out! We purchased our 20.5 Acres of land in the 1970's. We lived in a small dwelling and lived off the land for years; with a large garden and small farm animals.
Now, our property has become our retirement sanctuary, for us to use with our RV. We developed 2 RV sites with full hookups, including 30, 50 Amp and 110 electric. There is water and sewage hookups, at both sites. We would like to share this sanctuary with others, who would appreciate it. You can book 1 site or add the second site at the extras section, in check out. We are only renting to one party at a time. You will have the campsites to yourselves.
Our property is one mile from Cowanesque Lake, where there is fishing, boating, and swimming. You will enjoy wildlife, on our property and in the surrounding area such as deer, bald eagles, various birds, hoot owls at night, and others. It is also within driving distance from the Finger Lakes and wineries, Watkins Glenn, Corning Glass Museum, Leonard Harrison and Colton Point State Parks, Hills Creek State Park, Mansfield University, Tioga Boar Hunting Reserve, and the adorable town of Wellsboro.
There are no lights on our property and is very dark at night. It is best to arrive during daylight, for easier RV hook up. However, due to the darkness, stargazing is spectacular. We have been able to see the Milky Way, at times. There is only one other home visible from the campsites. Enjoy!

We have three camp sites on a 200-acre parcel of secluded, rural farm land. We are a working pasture based farm where you can see how grass fed beef, pork, chicken, and eggs are produced. There's nothing quite like fresh eggs and bacon after waking up to the sunrise over a fog-filled valley!
When you arrive we will provide a complimentary carton of pastured raised eggs and you are welcome to visit our web site (redhouseranch . net) or store to order meats for your stay and/or to take with you upon your departure. As you roam the hills and forests you'll eventually bump into some of our animals. Please do not enter the animal enclosures or touch any of the electrified fence lines. If you really want to pet a piggie or hold a chicken - just reach out to Ike or Dave and we will gladly arrange this for you.
Red House Ranch is also the perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. During your stay you may encounter eagles, blue herons, coyotes, turtles, wild turkeys, foxes, the endangered bobolink bird (its unique call sounds a bit like R2D2), deer, great horned owls, and many unique plants. It's not uncommon to hear the coyotes howling at night.
In addition to hiking trails with incredible views, there are four ponds on the property easily accessible with mown paths. One is very large with a dock and suitable for swimming, paddling, fishing, or just relaxing but the water. The other three are smaller and are now primarily wildlife habitat. easily accessible with mown paths
If you're feeling adventurous, there is a more strenuous hike down into the creek bed where you can find miniature versions of the gorges and waterfalls that our region is known for. We are happy to provide maps and guidance or leave you to your own devices.
When skies are clear our area has very little light pollution and excellent star visibility. It's a great place to view the night sky during a meteor shower.

We have 10 forested hilly acres 12 miles from Ithaca. We’ve built a camp with a yurt with a foam floor that sleeps a family of 4. Bring sleeping bags and pads or you have an air mattress you can blow up inside the yurt that is fun. in the will also see a dry lean-to with a double bed platform inside to put your sleeping bags or air mattress or to put supplies off the ground to keep dry. Also lots of room for tents. The campfire has a grill to cook over a wood fire, 2 benches & Adirondack chairs, a hammock and a picnic table. There’s also a fun homemade swing & seesaw. There are many marked walking trails around our land to enjoy. There is access to well water. Dry cut Firewood is available for $7 a bundle at the property or you can add extras with booking for $7.70 per bundle. Portable toilet outside & outdoor hot water shower.
It is very quiet here. We are close to Treman, Buttermilk And Taughannock State Parks which all have swimming. Watkins Glen State Park and racetrack is half an hour away. 150 breathtakingly magnificent waterfalls in this area. Great hiking. We are 14 miles from Cornell University and 10 miles from Ithaca College. We are between two finger lakes, Cayuga and Seneca, there are 60 wineries and breweries around the lakes. Woman’s Rights National Museum in Seneca Falls, Corning Museum of Glass is fabulous. Ithaca has theatres, many museums & lots for kids to do. Or just hang out in our forest & enjoy our 10 private acres of trails. Bob is in the Ithaca Art Trail so check out his workshop if you are interested. This is the perfect choice for anyone looking to fully experience the peace and quiet of nature. It was an amazing environment for a relaxing getaway with our dog, Luna.
The cabin was well-stocked with absolutely everything we needed. Even though it’s in the mountains, the shower was fantastic—plenty of hot water and great water pressure! The manager was incredibly kind and helpful, which made our stay even better. We made great memories here and would absolutely love to visit again.

This was a wonderful RV campsite. We had it to ourselves. It was easy to find. We were greeted upon arrival but left alone to enjoy the quiet and solitude. Staying in April, we saw geese on and around the pond, but no goose mess around the campsite. You sit up the hill a little from the actual pond. We also saw deer in the evening and heard red winged blackbirds and so many song birds all day. It was so wonderful to just be away. We were provided firewood and a trash can and a nice picnic table. The site we stayed at was level and so very clean. Green everywhere we looked. The Endless Mountains are beautiful. Troy was nearby with necessities and restaurant options if you need it. Towanda was a little farther, but lovely. We stopped at Mountain View Winery and enjoyed our time there as well. But the best day was when we never left – enjoyed our hammock and the chance for our rescue dog to chill and curl up in the grass on a leash next to us. The only time he got excited was when the geese got mouthy 😊 He just wanted them all to get along. We would definitely enjoy coming here again for time away from the hustle and bustle of suburban life. Thank you so much for hosting us!!

What a cool place to stay. My dog and I stayed the night passing through and really liked the site. Felt secluded yet had trails nearby for hiking. The lookout tower is really cool. It was a bit chilly (seems spring isn't fully arrived yet) but well worth the cold. We'll be back for sure!

It was so gorgeous, a perfect combo of remote but still a reasonable distance from town if you need cell service or supplies. The creek next to the cabin was so beautiful and fun to romp around, and there's even a small waterfall in the back, so cool!! It's right on the border of one of the state parks for easy access if you're a hiker, but it's also perfect if you prefer to linger in a nice spot and take it in.
Amenities were great for what we wanted, it didnt feel like "glamping" (we didn't want to glamp) but it still had everything we needed to be comfortable. It rained and the temp fluxed on and off during the trip so the heater and stove were lifesavers.
The outhouse might have been the cleanest I've ever used, which is strange to say but important -- the wood looked fresh, it had a toilet seat and I wasn't afraid of animals/bugs hanging out in the corners or in the toilet! 😂
There's a generator for electricity if needed but we didn't really bother with it (personal choice). He provides a solid amount cleaning and drinking water which we were pleasantly surprised by (still be responsible and bring some of your own).
It was so nice that we decided to stay an extra day! I needed to go to town to message him on the app to get it set up since there's no cell service at the site and thankfully he responded almost immediately so I didn't have to wait around town. He gave great recommendations and seems genuinely happy when people respect appreciate the area. Will reccomend

This was my second time staying at "The Woodzzy". I booked for my birthday over the weekend and it was a much needed getaway for me, my fiance and our dog. We all love the coziness of the cabin. It makes being lazy real easy. Not having phone service was amazing and a get way to disconnect. Thank to Russ for being helpful and accommodating. It also was a pleasure talking to him. I loved my stay in this cabin; everything was beautiful with the snow and very cozy. The only thing is that I went at the beginning of winter and it was very cold. If you're looking for a place without internet and want to be away from the city, it's perfect for you.

Worth the electric hook up for the price. Great view straight out, would recommend over time trying to buffer the neighbors house with some evergreens. No complaints though, especially because it was the only solo campsite with electric hookup around where I needed to be. Thanks so much!
