The parks namesake, Bowman Lake, is 35 acres and is the center of pretty much all activity. And that’s a lot! You’ll find beach swimming, remarkable fishing (trout are regularly stocked), and several hikes, the most popular being a loop around the ol’ lake. Campgrounds are roomy, secluded, and shady--so if you aren’t feeling up for much, hanging out in a hammock by the fire is perfectly acceptable. We are a working blueberry and flower farm near the town of Tunkhannock, in the Endless Mountains Region of Pennsylvania.
We also have nature and some fun recreational opportunities both on property and close by.
On our property we have an 18 hole disc golf course (more info can be found on Udisc or Facebook page "Campsite Disc Golf"). The course has all PDGA approved chain baskets with wood chip or grass tee boxes. We are constantly upgrading the course, it gets better every year!
We have some beautiful places for walks (or easy hikes) including walking the course even if you don't play disc golf....it makes for some nice clear trails through the woods.
There is a 2 1/2 acre pond where you are welcome to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. A 10 acre swamp, a small creek (that does often dry up in the summer....it's beautiful in the spring), and bountiful wildlife.
Nearby are many more recreational opportunities. Within driving distances varying from 5 minutes to an hour (most things within 20 minutes) are a river, two creeks, several lakes (all with public boat access, some with swimming), hiking and biking trails, wineries, brewery, restaurants, a movie theater and shopping (grocery stores and the small downtown are less than 10 minutes).
We can provide more information and directions for any activities you are interested in.
Our private road which leads to the areas available for camping has only one resident who lives past (with access rights to use the road to get to his property) so it is secluded with no traffic. It can be very dark on moonless nights which is fantastic for stargazing. Intrepid winter campers will find the sky is most crisp clear and incredible in the winter....but the summer is still quite spectacular.
Blueberry season is all of July and spilling into August (although winding down by then). During that time the Grassy corner site is more out of the way and quieter. The Most Convenient Woods is close but separate, no one except a passing disc golfer can easily look into your site. You will hear activity in the blueberry field during the day. Possibly including a noise maker that makes a periodic boom in the mornings to keep the birds from stealing all the berries (we are looking for quieter bird scaring options for the future). We try to keep that to a minimum especially if campers are present but can't promise silence. The noise maker is turned off as soon as customers are present so it is just a little while in the morning.

Grill on one or two of our commercial grade charcoal grills. Fuel is easy with our self-serve firewood for purchase or bring your own charcoal. Rent a burner, fryer, crab pot or wok included with propane, to experiment and create a memorable meal.
Easily access cold food and drinks with a full-size refrigerator, in the nearby pavilion. Safely store supplies with plenty of ample dry shelving. Making coffee for your group is easy, using our fresh, well water and bulk 15 cup coffee maker. Conveniently, power rice cookers and crock pots at our small appliance station. Enjoy meals and quality time utilizing multiple areas, such as our wrap around bench, picnic tables, and lean to area. Afterwards, dishes are easy, including late night clean up with our lighted, double sink dishwashing and drying area.
Listen and enjoy your playlists with the Pyle Bluetooth surround system while playing fun yard games or shoot some hoops (bring your own ball). Access our unique bathhouse and clean, interesting outhouse. Build a campfire, whenever you like in our firepit with self-serve firewood. In the evenings, illuminate a portion of the camp with the horseshoe pit overhead lights. Star gazing is amazing with dim lighting or bring a telescope.
The activities and adventure continue offsite and nearby from natural areas and a distillery to outdoor Mexican food with a view. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and country views while strolling along Shea and Klondike Road. View functional stick and stone art or experience a tour, onsite with #9's Polish Designs (the host), upon request/reservation.
Offsite and for easy water recreation, swim, fish or relax on the river rock beach, at the East Branch River Access, only 8 minutes away from camp. Enjoy a river trip, and leisurely float on the river. Soaring Eagle, less than 15 minutes away, provides the necessities, kayaks, tubes, rafts and canoes, plus transportation.
Beyond the river and just a few minutes away, Rock Valley Spirits, offers distillery tours/tastings/cocktails with scenic outdoor views and seating. Grab a bite to eat at Salsa Shack, less than 10 minutes away, while gazing at the lush greenery, mountain views and beaver pond. Afterwards, work off the meal, with an amazing and scenic hike, or walking trails. The famous Jensen Ledges and Patridge Walking Trail are a short drive away. On the way back to camp take a quick dip at the Lordville River Access, stop at the Equinunk General Store or grab some ice cream at The Cow Lick.
Besides the plethora of possibilities, other amenities are included with your stay. As an overview, included with the camp are bulk cooking items (pots, pans, serving utensils, knives, spices), large 15 cup coffee maker/urn and 7 to 14 gallons of fresh, drinkable, well water for your usage. Upon reservation, we provide a kitchen content list of specific items. Please bring your own dishes, flatware, cooking oils, paper products, storage containers, etc.

SnowMarsh Farm is a beautiful campsite on top of a vista with expansive views of several mountains, rolling hills, forests, blue skies, and dairy farm pastures in the distance. There are several options to position your RV on this elevated private grass site. You literally feel like your in the middle of the Endless Mountains. We hiked Salt Springs and Moosic Mtn, biked D&H Rail Trail and ended the days by the campfire under the stars. Local wildlife is present including so many birds (my bird app caught over 17 different bird songs... just beautiful). An unexpected local find was Red Rock barbeque & brewery a few miles down the road. Stanwood was an amazing kind host. He greeted us upon our arrival, made us feel welcome and genuinely cared that we would have the best time possible. Thank you Stanwood for sharing your land.

This was our favorite spot of our quick 3 day trip. Absolutely beautiful land, well maintained, and incredibly welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. The seafood platter we got after checking in was such a nice surprise; we enjoyed chatting with Frank and learning about the area. Watching the geese march down to the pond in the morning and then back up to the house in the evening was quite entertaining. Nugget the turkey visited us a couple times and we had quite the conversation. We will absolutely be repeat campers at Mountain Hollow Farm.

Jim and Carol’s campsite was the perfect spot for us to stay with our two dogs. It was driving distance to a ton of lakes which was great so we were able to go fishing and rented a row-boat at Lake Superior State Park. Our dogs enjoyed the campsite as well. There was plenty of space to walk them around and help them get out some energy. This was the perfect hipcamp for us. It’s so convenient to have water, sewer, and electric without having to deal with a crowded campsite. We hope to be back again soon. I highly recommend this hipcamp!

Frank is a great host. He is very thoughtful and responsive. He provided a great hors d’oeuvres plate the night we arrived, which was beyond expectation and delicious. The pond is excellent for fishing as my son caught a couple very large trout. Great location close to Deposit. We have a 20 foot trailer camper and I highly recommend this site.

My wife and I had a relaxing weekend.
The cute little lake kept her busy all weekend catching sunfish and pearch. She even caught a bass, it was on the small side but gave her a nice fight jumping out of the water and doing its best to get away.
The WiFi worked great, the bathrooms were very clean, and the grounds were tidy.
The only thing that keeps this camp ground from being perfect is the lack of grass on the individual camp sights. Most of the seasonal sites had cute little lawns, but the visitor sights had very little.
The owner was wonderful! We could have sat down with both her and her son and chatted the day away, but had to let them get back to work.
We will be back, possibly before this summer is over.

We had a great time at Franks place. The sites have full hookups for rv campers. This is the first hipcamp I ever went to that the host brought a full seafood/chessboard platter that was excellent.
If you are into hiking bring waterproof boots to make it across the shallow creek.
Frank has a turkey that is a protector of the property and spent every minute at our site.
Again Frank was a great host, the fishing was great. Binghamton is not too far away if you need something to do. Otherwise you can hike or fish on the property.
The rv sites you can back in or pull thru, they are close to each other side to side.

Frank’s farm is so beautiful. We loved seeing the turkeys, ducks and beavers! We were welcomed and shown to our site. After we got set up, Frank brought us a fabulous tray of food: venison and duck from the farm cooked perfectly. Shrimp and cocktail sauce and a fresh fish dip with pickles and carrots. Peppered salami, crackers and cheese and watermelon. It was awesome!

This was a very very nice stay! Our dogs absolutely loved it and despite the fact that it rained the whole time we were there, we enjoyed very much! There was electricity and water! It was very private and we did not see another human being for 4 days! There are flat spots and you can get a fair amount of phone cell! The river view is beautiful! We saw birds, chipmunks and squirrels! If you have dogs, spray them for ticks!

The site has beautiful views and is in a pretty quiet area. The land is really level for the camper. The town is close enough to walk or bike to and the shops are adorable.
This is definitely one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Jason was very responsive with any questions and let us know to reach out anytime. Highly recommend this spot.

this is the second time I stay here. It’s a very beautiful place to relax and spend quality time with your family. My son was visiting from Florida so we came here. He loved, I also I want to say thanks to Frank and his wild turkeys they keep us company all the time. I will definitely come back
