The camp lies inside of Tiadaghton State Forest on the west side of Pine Creek in the Pennsylvania Wilds. The property is 5 acres, embedded deep in public land. On the property there is this one very large campsite (approx 100 square ft) for rent and our small cabin. If we are there at the same time as our guests, we share the outhouse and shower, but our guests have their own private picnic table, fire pit and grill on the far side of the property. The area is beautiful for paddling, floating, fishing, hiking, biking, rock skipping, dipping your toes, swimming hole gems, searching for waterfalls, writing retreats. There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain bike and ATV trails, and some of the best fishing and stargazing on the East Coast. There is a 62 mile -rails-to-trails that runs along the other side of Pine Creek from Wellsboro to Jersey Shore, PA. Our camp is located on a secluded hill - a relaxing oasis removed from the rest of the world - read a book in a hammock, build campfires, grill yummy food, let the kids run around like crazy, play a lot of cards. It a 2 minute walk from the property to public access to Pine Creek. It is a 45 minute drive to paddle the Western Branch of the Susquehanna near Lock Haven, PA.

It is also within driving distance from the Finger Lakes and wineries, Watkins Glenn, Corning Glass Museum, Leonard Harrison and Colton Point State Parks, Hills Creek State Park, Mansfield University, Tioga Boar Hunting Reserve, and the adorable town of Wellsboro. There are no lights on our property and is very dark at night. It is best to arrive during daylight, for easier RV hook up. However, due to the darkness, stargazing is spectacular. We have been able to see the Milky Way, at times. There is only one other home visible from the campsites. Enjoy!

Weekend Trip to Lake Front Campsite !!!

Great place! Really well-maintained and clean, it's clear that Alicia takes a lot of pride in this property. Very close to the road, but very little traffic so it feels private. As someone who exclusively boondocks, having the 30 amp service was a real luxury! No joke about the lack of Verizon service though - make sure you pay for the Wi-Fi box unless you have T-Mobile or AT&T. Looking forward to coming back.

The views were beautiful. It was private and quiet. We were not bothered at all. The directions were easy to follow. A great location. Host responded quickly when we had questions and was friendly. Would highly recommend.

great site, Kevin was away during our stay but was still incredibly responsive. The land is lovely, doggos were so happy! Reccommend coming here for sure.

Weekend Trip to RV Hook Up at The Barn

Beautiful property! Everything was pristine. The site was paved and level. Hookups are located right next to it. The furniture provided around the fire ring and the picnic table by the site are awesome. The fire ring is the perfect distance away from the site, so no smoke can go through windows.

1 night at Endless views & star filled nights

Host wasn’t home, but left good instructions, and was good at responding to questions. I had no problem finding a level spot. Didn’t get a chance to see much due to the first good rain in weeks. Would go back, if for no other reason than to see the view from the tower.

We brought our motor home and the pad was perfectly sized for even a large trailer. It was quiet and tranquil. There were plenty of fish to catch in the lake and Alicia’s selection of boats will fit any experience level.

We had such a wonderful stay! The site was peaceful, well-maintained, and the views were A+! Susan was a fantastic host and even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything needed. We had a great time parked behind the barn! It’s a beautiful property, level pad and nice green grass right next to it. Everything was smooth and easy to hook up with ample parking. Ben was very nice and helpful!

Weekend Trip to Fairie Tale Farm

Our group had a great time at Fairie Tale Farms - Moondance Retreat and would highly recommend! Susan was very welcoming, showing us to our campsite and checking on us during our stay. We enjoyed walking around the property checking out the lake and watching the horses. During our stay we did a casual hike at Ricketts Glen State park and checked out a community fair.

Beautiful land, close to a gorgeous state park with a ton of waterfalls! We were provided with a fire ring, chairs, and picnic table which was great. Brian was kind and a fast responder! Would definitely stay again in the future.

3 nights at Lake Front Campsite !!!

This single camp stands out from so many others. We are used to backpacking and now have a little camper that we wanted to spend some time in. We are not the RV parking lots kind of folks! We were looking for something more private and that had options for time together, and this was perfect. Not completely secluded but we had our space to be out and enjoy. We opted for the WiFi option since it’s currently a dead zone for Verizon. We enjoyed a trip out on the canoe and got to see the whole pond and surrounding area. We also saw a great blue heron and belted kingfisher several times. Truly a relaxing and beautiful spot ! We’ll definitely be back! This is a favorite for us. And just to note for those who want to camp with friends or family that aren’t so campy, the owner’s also have a gorgeous cabin across the road to rent. Terrific find!

Beautiful property with rolling hills and farmland to take in. Nice little campsite tucked away in the back and close to the restroom. Susan was flexible with our arrival time and very kind. We had everything we needed easy to access and taken care of, only thing we ran out of is time!! Book a long stay so you can enjoy it all! 15 mins from Ricketts Glen, but plenty to enjoy camping too!
