The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We appreciate your understanding that some areas are used for our personal / farm storage. If you're not into looking at our farmware, there are a few nearby campgrounds.

We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner, and movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Miles of hiking, rail trail, single-track mountain biking, and kayaking are all right here! See our kayak and bike rentals under extras!
Hershey Park is approximately a 30-minute drive from our location. Rausch Creek, Anthracite, and Reading off-road areas are also nearby.

- Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. (Some sites are closer to port-a-johns than others.) We do not provide potable water or showers for tent campers but we allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups.
- FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we ask that you do not transport wood onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.

Our property consists of 20 acres of the beautiful Blue Mountain. At the Lookout you can see for 40 Miles across the valley below. With views from Allentown, Lyons and Reading. The area with the view is a shared area for both sites. Feel free to use the fire ring while you sit and watch the evening sky. It is breathtaking at night.
At the bottom of the mountain there is a Gunclub with a shooting range and you will hear shooting from the property. Please note it is far away and there is no danger
Our property is mostly the mountain side. But with an area that is flat for tent camping. The property is close to Route 309 but there is a camping area away from the road. Our land is next to the road and you will hear some road noise.
We are next to National Parks land which also consists of the Appalachian Trail and also against the Pennsylvania Game Lands. You can walk up the street or trail to Thunderhead Lodge Restaurant. Leaser lake is a short drive if you like fishing or kayaking. The Wanamakers Store is a unique place to visit with amazing sandwiches. The Wanamakers and Kemton railroad is close by for a weekend train ride. Bear Rock Junction is close by for mini golf and ice cream. Eight Oaks Distillery is only a few minutes away. Several wineries and antique shops as well.
You may also see Appalachian Trail Thru Hikers come thru our property to stay at the hostel. Please welcome our hikers as they come to rest their weary bodies. Welcome to the Lookout. We have made many improvements to our land but also try to maintain the beauty it is. We plan to keep upgrading our property.

-Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site. Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash. If your dog inflicts damage to the sites (digging holes, chewing up piles of sticks, chewing up toys to bits etc. please clean up after your dogs. We will provide shovels, rakes if you need!)
- OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3. It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there.
-This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups, or partying allowed. If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together.
-This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT.
-There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers.
- Please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is an insurance issue, no exceptions. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property.
-Due to virtually every booking asking for earlier arrival and later departure times, we are strictly adhering to the posted check in and check out times.

Here you will find yourself off grid and alone with nature. Imagine yourself pitching your tent along the river or on the hill top, viewing countless birds of prey and all types of wildlife with no other folks around, except for your people.
The location could not be better or more private. Our family for years have camped and played at these site, enjoying the river and night sounds. We are a working Christmas Tree farm as well. Truly private camping, not a commercial camp ground. Very few camping sites exist where you can just have your own space, but you may have it here. All sites have a picnic table, a Hawk Shadow Out House, water to wash things, a preparation table and a good bundle of kindling to start off your camping experience. There Is a shovel, cooking grates, log benches and a neat campfire ring. Potable water is available at the farm and you may refill when needed.

This site is along the river. It is private and lovely.
You may park your car above the site and walk down to the river and camping area. Short, 50 yards, but a steepish walk. Pack in and out accordingly.
Very private, lots of space. It is perfect.
Campsite #2 (Dog Gone Site)
This site is also along the river.
It is private and has the same set up as site one.
Park your car on top of hill and walk on down. It is a lovely spot. Walk is about 50 yards down a steep hill. Pack accordingly.
Campsite #3 (High Site)
Site 3 is above the river and looks over Hawk Mountain and the farm.
It is private with beautiful views. Unreal full moon gazing.............
Sunrise, Sunset, Moon rise, Bird watching, all very visible from this site.
Car accessible, no walking to campsite required.
At all sites, different seasons bring different activities. Spring: Kayaking, fishing and hiking. Summer: hiking, fishing in the pond, cooling off in the swim hole. Fall: raptor watching, hiking, biking plus fishing, (license required), in the Little Schuylkill. The nights are dark with star lit skies.
We have a 1.5 acre bass pond on the farm for fishing, so bring your rod. Big bass in there!!
Your camp site is surrounded by woods and forest, fields and trees.
You are a two hour drive from center city Philadelphia and 2.5 hours from down town New York City. One hour from Harrisburg.

Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available May-October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups.
- FIREWOOD: Due to the threat of invasive pests, we ask that you do not transport wood onto the grounds. We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.
-We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds.
-Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site.

Leaser lake is a short drive if you like fishing or kayaking. The Wanamakers Store is a unique place to visit with amazing sandwiches. The Wanamakers and Kemton railroad is close by for a weekend train ride. Bear Rock Junction is close by for mini golf and ice cream. Eight Oaks Distillery is only a few minutes away. Several wineries and antique shops as well.
You may also see Appalachian Trail Thru Hikers come thru our property to stay at the hostel. Please welcome our hikers as they come to rest their weary bodies. Welcome to the Lookout. -Dogs are permitted if they are friendly and are trained well enough to listen and stay at your site. Again, they must stay at your site unless walking with you on a leash. - OVERLANDERS: You can bring your overland camper if you want, but you must park your vehicle in the parking spot across from your site at sites 1-3. It is a safety issue to block the entryway/exit lane. Site 4 is large enough to accommodate your vehicle and these rules do not apply there.
-This is a place for relaxation and reflection by the creek. No loud groups, or partying allowed. If your neighbor can hear your music it is too loud. If your host can hear it, you will be asked to turn it down or off all together.
-This is a pack it in, pack it out site. This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT.
-There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers.
- Please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is an insurance issue, no exceptions. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? People coming to our land who are not booked at a site will immediately be shown off the property.

The location could not be better or more private. Our family for years have camped and played at these site, enjoying the river and night sounds. We are a working Christmas Tree farm as well. You may park your car above the site and walk down to the river and camping area. Short, 50 yards, but a steepish walk. Pack in and out accordingly.

This site is also along the river.
It is private and has the same set up as site one.
Park your car on top of hill and walk on down. It is a lovely spot. Walk is about 50 yards down a steep hill. Pack accordingly.
Campsite #3 (High Site)
Site 3 is above the river and looks over Hawk Mountain and the farm.
It is private with beautiful views. Unreal full moon gazing.............
Sunrise, Sunset, Moon rise, Bird watching, all very visible from this site.
Car accessible, no walking to campsite required.
At all sites, different seasons bring different activities. Spring: Kayaking, fishing and hiking. Summer: hiking, fishing in the pond, cooling off in the swim hole. Fall: raptor watching, hiking, biking plus fishing, (license required), in the Little Schuylkill. The nights are dark with star lit skies.
We have a 1.5 acre bass pond on the farm for fishing, so bring your rod. Big bass in there!!

Welcome to our DreamBuilder's Oasis... a simple overnight spot or stay for a week, with extra add-on's available including plugging in your 4 prong 50 amp plug but limited to 17 AMP service on two lines, access to water, & a spot to dump your tanks. We've got three acres of grass in the Ole Orchard. Plenty of room to stretch your legs & walk along the tree line after a long drive. Recent guests remarked that there is great Cycling/Biking on low traffic country roads in our area. Motion lights provide security. Two local family owned pizza shops, a hair salon, turkey hill convenience store / gas station, a community park with playground, an auto mechanic on the corner, all within a short 4 minute walk, less than 1/4 mile away. A full list of local attractions & amenities will be provided automatically 24 hours prior to check-in, (or sooner by request.)
Community park & playground is a short 5 minute walk. Lots of great ways to relax & connect with nature in this quaint little Village Farm-Town USA... (Private, not Secluded: Farm Tractor & Dairy Milk Trucks travel nearby road)
Being in an agricultural community, DreamBuilder's Oasis offers excellent star-gazing & satellite watching opportunities year round (when the clouds clear out) w/less light pollution than you'll find in surrounding towns. Sunsets from the Gazebo are stunning: a great site to connect with nature. We have a variety of birds who love the water feature by the gazebo, & an occasional family of deer that passes through.
Easy access to tourist points in Lancaster PA, Amish tours, Outlet shopping experiences, as well as Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square PA, the Kennett Square Mushroom Festival (Sept) & Mushroom Drop (New Years Eve) along with a plethora of fine winery experiences throughout Southern Chester County. Movie theaters are a 30 minute drive. Putt Putt Mini-Golf & Bowling are 14 minutes down the road into Oxford, PA. Multiple golf courses & country clubs are available within a 15 to 25 minute drive in several directions.

We are located along the banks of the mighty Susquehanna River in Conoy Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. An area rich with historic significance and breath taking natural scenery. From the rolling hills of Lancaster County, Chiques' Rock, the sculptured rock visible at the bottom of the Conewago Falls, the White Cliffs of Conoy, and the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail there is no shortage of adventure. Our campsite offers the combination of camping fun and an endless variety of river recreation and leisure.
Retreat to a spacious primitive river front camping sanctuary in the woodland setting, nestled under the trees, where privacy and seclusion create a relaxing family-friendly experience. Our campsite is first time camper or camping enthusiast friendly! Whether you are feeding the need for your family's adventure or looking to get back to nature and relax, River Rock Recreation campsite can accommodate your needs.
You will find yourself living a unique outdoor lifestyle during your stay at River Rock Adventures campsite. A private launch allows kayak, SUP, and other paddleboat access. Public boat launches near by that allow for trailer and boat access. Fish the river banks all day and night for the biggest catch or teach a new generation of fisherman the love of the sport. Hike or bike the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail, explore all it has to offer on its 14 mile stretch from Falmouth to Columbia. You can even get the kids excited and involved by Geocaching on the way!
Want to relax and create memories? Let the children discover the swing and Teepee play structure to promote imaginative playtime in nature, make fairy or gnome home out of sticks and stones, teach knot tying, animal track and constellation recognition or organize a scavenger hunt! Horseshoe pit, birdwatching and wildlife viewing for the older kids. Did you know you can spot bald eagles flying along the river and even spot owls and bats that are present at night!? Meanwhile kick up your feet and relax in the trees with a hammock, you might love it!
The camp kitchen area allows for efficient food storage and meal preparation space during your stay. Whether you want to use the on site grill or cook over the fire, the covered kitchen area will help make your meal duties at camp a breeze. When it comes to getting cleaned up, the solar shower bag compatible camp shower gives you a space to rinse off and clean up in privacy. The lights on site can be run by generator to help light the way at night.

I rented the tiny cabin for 2 nights, and while it’s a lovely off-grid setup exactly as described, the temperatures dropped extremely low during my stay. Because the cabin has no heat, electricity, or running water, it wasn’t feasible to stay there in that kind of cold.
The host was gracious and immediately helped us pivot to a room at her bed-and-breakfast on the same property so we could remain safe and comfortable. Although we didn’t get to stay in the cabin itself, the property is stunning — wide open views, peaceful surroundings, and a true escape from the city.
I’m very grateful for the host’s quick help and hospitality. I’d absolutely return in better weather to enjoy the cabin properly.

Weekend Trip to Fairview Farms Airfield
My husband, dog, and I loved our short overnight stay in the treehouse! It was very cute and cozy even in the cold temperatures. Our dog liked walking along the dirt road and watching the farm animals (from afar of course). We would love to stay again!

Beautiful, secluded, and incredibly cozy. The barn we stayed in had full amenities and was very comfortable. The hosts were wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. If you’re looking to get away from the city and truly relax while enjoying nature, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

I've been camping at Conowingo Creek for four years, and every time is just as delightful as the last! Gini & Kelly are spectacular hosts who will do everything they can to make sure your trip is perfect. I couldn't imagine camping anywhere else!

this campsite was absolutely beautiful. i didn’t realize how many campgrounds there were and also how private they can be. the view was amazing, the owner is very nice and helpful. my dogs and i explored the trails nearby and i spent the evening reading by the fire. 10/10!

We stayed three nights over a very windy Thanksgiving holiday. The view truly is spectacular (Site #5). Just as important were the well kept grounds and amenities. The clean outhouse was a short stroll from our site, and the site itself had a nice picnic table, fire pit, non-potable water (for the fire), and three bundles of firewood (that we ordered). The instructions from our host Jake before our arrival were also very clear and helpful. We highly recommend this to all campers!

Great Location with multiple camping locations. The deck with the bamboo at site 3 was great, ample wood was included with the stay and we had everything we needed for an outstanding stay. Scott checked in and we chatted for a bit, really nice and welcoming. We're already planning our next trip with more people in warmer weather to enjoy the creek. 10/10

Fairview Farms was such a delight. From waking up amongst birdsong, to looking out all of the treehouse windows, to find different animals and expanses of land in each direction. Staying here was a beautiful retreat into serenity and we will most definitely be back! I stopped at Karen’s cabin as a place to sleep on a road trip, and it was lovely! Not too far off highway, the cabin felt secluded yet safe, and the property was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely adored my stay here, especially at the "Old Piney" campsite. We stayed for two nights. Arriving after dark on the first night was a bit tricky due to Apple Maps issues and difficulty identifying the specific sites, but we managed without too much hassle. That said, having a map of restroom locations beforehand would have been helpful, as they were hard to find in the dark. On the plus side, the host responded to our questions (call don't text for quicker responses) and provided a 5 Gal jug of non-potable water to extinguish our fire, which was a great safety feature.
The first night was cloudy with rain, so we missed the stars, but watching the sun slowly unveil the stunning view through the clouds by mid-morning was gorgeous. We hiked around the property to check out other sites; next time, I’d love to book a longer trip to explore the neighboring towns.
The second night was magical! Since we were just past the new moon, the stars were incredible, though it definitely got COLD. The next morning, we opened our tent to a spectacular sunrise beaming through the distant valley. We enjoyed one last fire before packing up.
The owner/manager keeps the grounds extremely well-maintained and makes rounds to check on guests before locking the main gate for the night (though guests can still come and go). I've been through this area countless times in my life and never knew something so stunning existed here. Highly recommended!

this campsite was absolutely beautiful. the views were vast and incredible, it was easy to find and the full hookups were straight-forward. just don’t forget to check for ticks! we found multiple on us and our dogs. all in all, it was the perfect stop for us on our way to connecticut. we will definitely stay again!
