Grassy mowed area along the Sixes River on our cattle ranch and cranberry farm. We provide an outdoor shower and composting toilet shared by the 5 camp sites. The shower water is filtered water from a shallow well, but bring water to drink. This campsite lies about 1 mile from the pacific ocean at about 15 feet elevation so it will be cooler than inland camp sites. I believe we are the closest camping to the south side of the Blacklock Hiking Trails. Also next to the Cape Blanco State Airport. (call if you want to fly in and get transport to and from the campsite). Access Road is a single lane in and out (gravel, dirt, and grass). Any towed trailers need to be pulled by a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to climb back out (in and out procedures for trailers will be provided) Bring a fishing pole or a kayak. Sea-run trout are in the river during the summer (no motorized vehicles allowed in the Sixes River by law. No motorized vehicles in campsite besides automobiles by rule.) - Please be accurate with the number of guests in your party. Please note about lack of signage: The "walters landing" and "92220" on airport road are the only markings to indicate our entrance. We don't want to put any "campground" signs to avoid curious trespassers into the property (we only want invited guests). Campsite Rules: 1. Enjoy. 2. No motorized vehicles besides your auto. 3. Cornerstone Ranch is a pristine Ranch of about 500 acres on the Rogue River and against the Pacific Ocean offering too many experiences to count. You can even bring your horse... FYI, Hipcamps map for site locations is not correct. Two go next to the driveway and the other four follow the creek. From the South GPS is very accurate to our driveway. Coming from the North, GPS may drop you a few driveways away as that is the property line. Keep driving about another 1/8th mile until you see the large red "Cornerstone Ranch" sign. That is our driveway. Welcome... The ranch offers 6 different campsites. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a toilet in off season and Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well. Reviews from guests: "During the night we could hear Elk and the nearby nature! When we woke up we got to visit with the horses, use the really clean port-potty, and chat with Bonnie and Chris the Hosts. They have tons of recommendations, but our favorite was the Indian creek cafe across the river. The areas so great and clean and the host cares about their guests! Would recommend!"

We enjoyed our stay here. The view was outstanding. We were in site N-3. We have a 17’ campervan and it fit perfectly, although it is a pretty small site. As some people reported, there is a bit of poison oak at some of the edges of the campsite, but not a lot. We were able to easily avoid it and keep our dog away from it. There is some traffic noise from 101, but honestly, we hardly even noticed as the beautiful sound of the ocean is all we heard. The path to the beach is quite steep in some parts, so if you’re older like me, you may want to bring a hiking pole for extra stability on the steep parts. It was worth it though, as the beach was fantastic. It was almost like a private beach. I only saw two other people there. The only thing we weren’t thrilled about was the bathroom/shower in the basement of the owner’s home. It was not as clean as I would have preferred. Not a deal breaker for me, but it could have been better.

This camp spot is absolute magic. The unfettered access to a beautiful deserted beach, the friendly gracious host and the continuous crashing of the pacific elevate Richard’s land to my favorite Hip camp. The sites have level spots for tents, plenty of room for a car or truck and all have a view of the ocean. My family had an absolute blast and we will be coming back. My dog had a great time as well. This was a great place for us as we camp in a very large tent. It was peaceful, close to town and Bonnie was very responsive and welcoming. We enjoyed hearing the horses and chickens throughout the day. Our dog loved the grassy area in around our site.

5 nights at Kissing Rock Farm

My husband and I stayed at N1 for our 14 year anniversary and were in awe of the constant view and music of the ocean. Our dogs were able to explore off leash a majority of the time without running into others and we all got a decent workout climbing the trail down to the beach and walking along it for hours. The perfect get away! Minutes from the town to the north which had great places for food and grocery stores. About 10 minutes from Myers Creek Beach to the south which has some of the most stunning views and rocks to explore. Having a bathroom with a shower kept us feeling fresh the whole time and the host Steve was super kind.

This place is a gem! The walk down to the beach is ABSOLUTELY worth it. The location is great and super easy to find. Richard is amazing. I will be staying here again 😊

Weekend Trip to Hideaway At The Vineyard

A very nice campout in the middle of a winery vineyard. Our host Kristie was very nice and helpful and gave us lots of information on the history of the winery. The site where we parked our 25 foot RV trailer. A nice covered picnic table area. Full hookups were at our disposal. Very quiet and peaceful area. We were parked next to the duck pond and heard them doing their thing and they sometimes came on land to pay a visit. Visited the wine tasting room and purchased a couple bottles. The vineyard was at our complete usage. We walked around quite a bit of it, talked to some grape pickers and saw the area where they make the wine. A nice tour of the area. Many thanks for everything. Highly recommended Hipcamp.

Weekend Trip to Cranberry Overlook

Go straight at the barn! (Don't go left!) Lovely pastoral land, mellow sheep, we could hear the rolling surf, the site was level and private--even though one other site was visible, adirondack chairs and wooden picnic table with benches were a bonus, and the fire pit was great! Nick is a patient, attendant host. I highly recommend this farm!

1 night at Kissing Rock Farm

We found this site at the last minute before getting dark. We had a view of the ocean, privacy and took Richards trail to the beach and absolutely no one was there. The tent pad just barely accommodated our tent, but we made it work. All in all a great find and definitely would return.

Weekend Trip to Cranberry Overlook

What i noticed first was the beautiful tree-lined drive in to the property. Gorgeous farm with lots of privacy between camps. Pleasantly surprised with the adirondack-type chairs around the fire pit. Beautiful picnic tables and flat areas for tents, etc. Loved the big dog mascot as well!

1 night at Cranberry Overlook

Great stay at this sheep farm. Easy to find, chill experience overall. The farm dog is super sweet. Sites are far enough apart it's private, quiet and dark. Had a good sleep here and would stay again. Fire pit & wood was provided(when bought) along with picnic bench.
