Hood for time in the snow!

We have 50+ Llamas, including adorable babies on our 50 acre Ranch, camp in the pasture, which is flat or in our woods, for more privacy, your choice. There is an added fee for going on a farm tour and/or leading your own Llama on a guided short half hour hike through our woods. Llamas are very curious animals and love visitors! You will be able to take photos and feed the Llamas. We also have a small farm store with fiber (wool) products made from our very own Llamas!

We went during the off season and I can't even imagine having a better time. They accommodated us last minute. Very sweet barn apartment that is just above the horses with a little balcony to look out. had everything we needed and my daughter really loved reading the books. It was a luxury to have a regular working toilet in the "outhouse" or whatever you would call a really cute bathroom just feet from the apartment. Although we didn't purchase any extras, we were able to hang with the horses through the gate and they are so friendly. So cool. Loved Spirit the black cat the most we must say. We really couldn't have asked for a sweeter overnight adventure.

Weekend Trip to Camp Colton
The grounds were beautiful. It was nice to have a bed and access to a shower and toilet. The communal fire pit was cool. It wasn’t busy this time of year, so it was just us at the fire. This would be a great base camp for fun on the Mollalla river activities or just a quick glamp getaway from the city. We booked a room after a class with the Oregon Maple Project and it was fun to learn about that operation and process and see all the tapped maples on the property. Their art classes and fancy dinner nights are intriguing. It seems like they’re building something cool out there.

Camp Colton is such a beautiful, special setting. This was our first visit since getting married here almost 20 years ago, and it’s as lovely as ever. The accommodations were spartan but cozy—exactly what we had in mind—and our host was accommodating but hands off. Only slight negative would be the steep driveway off the main road - scraped the rear bumper on the way in and out … even with trying to go at an angle to avoid that. But those things sometimes happen with a 30 foot motorhome 😉
