Peace & Solitude

5 sites · RVs, Tents121 acres · Newport, Lincoln
Our Private Land is located in Newport Oregon. Daily you can hear the ocean roar and smell the fresh air off the water. It is a forest area accessible by trails that all link together. There is also a very nice trail off our land to a nearby city trail that will lead you to Agate Beach. You will see coastal evergreens and deciduous trees with all sorts of other bushes and flowers that you typically find along the Oregon Coast. Some of the wildlife on the land such as blacktail deer and many species of birds are seen and heard on most days. You will see breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the Yaquina Bay Bridge, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, and Big Creek Reservoir. These landmarks can be seen randomly throughout your walk on the trails and from the campsites. There are beautiful sunsets and sunrises. On a clear night you can see the constellations, undisturbed by city lights. Our property provides a lot of room to be by yourself. Hammock, book, write, read, and my favorite... take a nap. A place of peace and solitude away from the public.

BeaverCreek Artfarm/ Heart Barn

30 sites · RVs, Tents21 acres · Seal Rock, Lincoln
This beautiful piece of paradise has been in my family for over 100 years. I am very blessed to live here and proudly care for it now, and plan to keep it in our family forever. Renting out the land and barn areas for camping, and also for private events, are a couple ways i can share it with, and build even more awesome community. 💚 Please Follow @heartbarn on Instagram to see videos and updated photos of the greenery, camping, events, the barn rooms/spaces and upgrades done here. 😁 Come camp, reset and recharge on the beautiful central Oregon coast. Nestled in the lush Beavercreek valley, we are just outside the fog zone in our own sweet little weather bubble. We have a variety of wetland wildlife here including a visiting elk herd, a large and beautiful variety of birds and various small critters.. Early summer dawn bird song is just amazing! 🎶 It’s lush and green and feels like the earth is hugging you when you’re camping in the carefully carved in marsh-field nooks. There are various camp “sites” to choose from, in the big field or the smaller meadow, with shade and/or sunshine & you choose which spot you’d like to stay in once you arrive. Feel free to check out all of the Barn and other communal spaces like: the beautiful dome for chillin in, stargazing bed in the tall field grass, the “Wookie Nook”- secret relaxing nurselog tree in the far right of the field, lounge chairs under the Cedar in the meadow, forest walk, the Legacy Lounge-art, antique and family memorabilia room-through the mural painted door…make yourself at home 💝 It is generally quiet and peaceful out here and a super sweet rustic getaway. Weekends of course are more lively, but still plenty room to spread out and have your own peaceful space. You can have solitude out at your camp, or come to the communal barn areas for a more social time. Inside the Barn has a more “hostel” feel with couches and lounge areas, dining room area tables and chairs, dance floor with Labyrinth to walk, stage, hula hoops, fun props, art and antiques to enjoy! The Black light art and ping pong room is not to miss!! There’s a Full kitchen (minus an oven) in the corner of the barn with all you need to cook, serve and eat. (Charcoal)Bbq shed outside the barn next to the communal fire pit. Just past those is the cedar shingled shower house with a wood fired sauna too. (I generally have firewood for sale here.) There’s 4 Porta potties on-site, but also, please feel free to pee outside. 😁 On the way to the HeArt Barn, just off of hwy 101 is Ona Beach state park. There you can kayak, canoe, paddleboard -or some even swim- on the east side of the hwy. The beach and beautiful state park is on the west side with Beaver creek flowing through it and a lovely bridge over it. We are just 5 minute drive form there. There are a couple hikes along the way, and also for jogging or biking.. I believe in living as simply and peacefully as possible, in harmony with all neighbors of all species; -plants, animals and humans- in order to do my part to sustain healthy life on this planet. I know that I am blessed for having been raised here and since I’ve come home, I live in gratitude for this blessing every day; and am so thankful to be able to share some of it with you. I hope this lush green valley hugs and fills your heart like it does mine.💚 HeArt Barn- Earth/Art/Heart✨Always return to the heart ♥️ Welcome!

Riverwood on the Siletz

2 sites · RVs, Tents1 acre · Lincoln Beach, Lincoln
We are having a lovely fall on the River. Mornings are foggy but, the days warm up and there have been amazing sunsets. The salmon have begun their journey up river so by mid to end of to end of October they will be up to our property (aproximately 8 miles up river from Hwy 101). There are a lot of boats up and down the river trying to catch "the big one". You can see the salmon roll from our dock and you can try your hand at fishing off the dock too. If you have a boat, we have room for it and there is a nice ramp to put in a few miles down river. Our campsites are easily accessible by vehicle and we have room for tents, small trailers and camper vans too. The sites are relatively level and grassy, situated under large spruce trees. We are still in tidewater here so both sites sit above the river (about a 15' river bank at high tide). If you want to be on the river, there is access from our personal ramp and dock. The river temperature is cooling down so swimming is still fine just be aware it's cold. Our dock has a ladder so it is easy to get back up. We love dogs and they are allowed on the dock and in the water but, keep a close eye on them as they may not be familiar with getting back up on the dock with a ladder. We do have an indoor Loo and shower...Yay! (byo towels, shampoo, etc) Feel free to use the electric kettle to warm water for coffee, hot cocoa, tea or cider. The space is shared by each of the guests we have. We also offer our little sleeping cabin, the Glass House for an extra fee. PLEASE NOTE.....We didn't realize how popular our little sleeping cabin would be so to avoid double booking and disappointing our guests, we will keep you posted on the availability. The Glass House is currently AVAILABLE these dates: AVAILABLE: October 9th-12th October 16th/17th November 11th-20th December 1st on into January It has a comfortable inflatable mattress and an electric heater to take the chill off and a comfy chair Just BRING YOUR OWN sleeping bags and pillows (There is a comforter on the bed just for looks and to help make the air mattress more comfortable). We do our best to keep the dampness out but, we are on the Oregon Coast and buildings get a little musty. We do use a dehumidifier when it is not in use to help. It is located in our "Riverside" site. We do not book that site for other campers while you are using the Glass House. **We will be making updates to the Glass House to make it a bit more homey. The sites: We have two nice camp sites, they are about 150' from one another. Our "Riverside" site is closest to the River bank. You'll have your own deck for viewing the river and beautiful summer sunsets and your own fire pit. (This is where the Glass House is located.) Our "Riverwood" site is about 150' inland from the riverbank, under large Spruce trees. You'll have a nice grassy area by an apple tree to set up camp and your own fire pit. You'll have access to enjoy the river and sunsets via our personal ramp and dock. Bring your Kayak or SUP to explore the slow moving river (or rent ours!). Enjoy a wide variety of wildlife; migrating and resident birds, Beavers early in the morning and evenings. Our resident River Otters have been very active this summer. You'll see them in the morning and evenings swimming, playing and munching on Crawdads. There are Deer although we seldom see them on our property but, they are across the river. There is a huge heard of Elk down river...Oh, and have I mentioned the sunsets are amazing from the dock? ***A little more information: We like to limit each camp site to 4 people to give everyone space. If you do have one or two more that is fine but, we have a per additional person charge. If you have more than 6 people you will be camping with we do recommend reserving both sites so you will have the entire area to yourselves. Once you reserve a camp site you'll receive a welcome message with the physical address to the property and the instructions on how to navigate the property once you are here. There is a HIPCAMP sign with an arrow to direct you to the 2 camp sites. There are also "END HIPCAMP" signs on our property lines to preserve our neighbors privacy. Check-in is 2pm or later, check out is 12noon or before. To be respectful of other campers that are excited to get outdoors (and to allow us to clean the bathroom and make sure the property is ready for the next campers) we need to adhere to these times. FIRE RESTRICTIONS - There are no fire restrictions currently but, we want you to extinguish fires when you leave the property. We have bottles of water at each site to do so. Also, we provide fire extinguishers if there is an emergency grass fire. We have always loved this property adjacent to our house and are happy to share it with our guests. We really appreciate checking us out and hope you'll come camp with us! Debbie and Rick, Luna and Piper

PLAN FOR 5 MINUTE WALK TO CAMP AREAS FROM PARKING AREA. NO CAR CAMPING. Please see additional site descriptions for more details! More about Trip Camp: Purchased in 2013, building out our property has been a labor of love, and is always a work in progress. We wanted to live somewhere where things move slower and where we can have a more intimate connection with the land. We raise over 30 chickens, garden, and forage the natural abundance of the area, from berries to mushrooms. In our forest, there are deer, coyote, rabbit, bear, skunk, raccoon, squirrels and chipmunks, various owls, bald eagles, weasels, cougar, bobcat, and any other number of critters. The Trip Camp sites sit on the historical Spruce Logging Railway Camps of the early 20th century. During WW1, some conscientious objectors were sent to work camps such as the one here to log the first and second growth spruce trees for the war effort. When they finished the narrow gauge railway system to transport the logs in 1919, the war effort was over and was taken over by private logging concerns.

Rose Lodge - The Old School

16 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Otis, Lincoln
This property was the Old Rose Lodge School which consisted of two classrooms originally. On the property sets the old school house and gymnasium. The property now consists of approximately 5 acres with the back side of the property being nicely lined with trees to tuck tents into. The property is located approximately a 100 yards from the salmon river and setting directly across the street is a large protected creek. We set outside of Lincoln City about 6 miles and are located outside of what we refer to as the fog bank so it will be warmer or colder depending on the time of the year than what it is in Lincoln City. We have a community fire pit, that all campers utilize and have open fires when we aren’t restricted by the County to allow open fire burns. Typically we will let you know when there is no fires allowed whatsoever, but all visitors have a good time getting to know other visitors.
