Weekend Trip to Trails End

Beautiful spot and so peaceful!! The host was super nice and answered questions quickly! The site was level, and long enough for our 29' travel trailer and truck and then some. The hookups were on the opposite side (campsite), but we were able to reach water and electric with standard power cord and water hose. Definitely would stay here again!

Ed’s RV space is a hidden gem — peaceful, scenic, and incredibly relaxing. The natural surroundings made it feel like a true getaway. It is a tight fit for a 45-foot trailer, but thanks to my fiancé’s pro-level driving skills, we made it work without issue. Once parked, it was well worth it — quiet, clean, and just the right mix of privacy and comfort. Ed was a great host and made us feel welcome. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at Matt’s hipcamp was great! Calm and quiet property with a very nice farm feel but still very close to town. Plenty of table room and chairs with electric hookup and a dedicated area to pitch tents and a very clean porta potty! Matt was very friendly and helpful and provided us with everything we needed! Hope to be back!

This was such a cute camp ground. We only stayed one night for a concert. It was very clean including the bathrooms. I would definitely come back.

We had a great stay. Mike was very hospitable, friendly, and responsive. He went out of his way to make sure we are settled and ok. The location is great, within 3/4 of the Old Mill District. He also gave us lots of tips of things to do and places to see in beautiful Bend.

Kathy was an excellent host! She helped us set up power and water supply at the campsite. A perfect site not too far from Bend and sufficiently remote for a quiet night under the stars. We promise to return soon!

Everything about Rocki’s HipCamp is incredible! The space, utilities, location and the view…especially at sunset! The starry night sky was beautiful …we even spotted the international space station! We enjoyed multiple road bike rides from camp throughout the Tumalo and Bend area. We highly recommend Golden Triangle! Rocki is an excellent and delightful host. We can’t wait to come again.

Ed's large yard is lovely. So many trees and so peaceful and no one to share it with! Our RV spot had 30 amp electricity, water and sewer hookups and we were positioned for a perfect view of the scenery. Ed is so incredibly friendly and helpful and had good tips about places to visit. There is access to the Deschutes River nearby and a boat launch a short drive away which is part of the Deschutes River Trail.

Our stay at Deer Acres was truly delightful! Chester, our warm and welcoming host, personally escorted us to our site, pointing out the thoughtful amenities that make this Hip camp exceptional. You can tell Chester is an RV enthusiast, as every detail is carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The immaculate desert landscaping created a serene, picturesque setting, and the gentle sounds of nearby horses and roosters added a charming, rustic touch to the tranquil atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. I wholeheartedly recommend Deer Acres to anyone looking for a well-crafted, restful camping getaway!

Tom Edwards worked tirelessly for years to clear this wild recreation space where he planned to live while helping others. Tom suddenly and unexpectedly passed February 2, 2015 while in the process of making his move to Sisters with his High School sweetheart of 45 years. Cheryl continued his passion and their dream to make this a place for those in need as a way to honor the most giving man she ever knew. This process has brought some healing and it is our hope to continue that healing for others in need from life's many trials. Anyone having a grief, widows/widowers, caregiver, cancer, hospice or other group that would like to have their group listed should message us as well. These respite visits are short getaways to refuel and support individuals during tough times. Those that come to enjoy Tom's Rest will hopefully gain some needed respite. Most feel they are pretty much 'on their own' in this retreat area with the option for seclusion OR mingling if so desired. My deepest thanks to all who have stood alongside through this journey and continue to do so. Rancho Mateo

Located on a quite circle with the far away country feel yet minutes to lots of shopping. Bring your camp trailer or a tent (There is a flat spot designed for tents). You will have access to a picnic table, a round patio table, propane barbeque (Propane included) with a one cook top burner, water and a 20-amp hookup. The campsite boards a small farm with goats, sheep etc. so, you will hear them from time to time. Located in Central Oregon just minutes from Tumalo State Park and found on the Deschutes River. The river runs through downtown Bend offering a lazy river experience. There are plenty of float rental companies in town which also offer shuttle service. The Deschutes River has an amphitheater boarding it with top name bands every few weeks. This site is less than ten minutes from "The Cascade Village Shopping Center" (www.shopcascadevillage.com) which has lots of restaurants and a large variety of shopping (Trader Joes, Local Acers supermarket, restaurants, Lowes, Target, and lots more. Ten minutes to the north is Tumalo town offering food carts at “The Bite” (www.thebitetumalo.com) with tasty local beers on tap, two cider tasting rooms (Bend Cider and Tumalo Cider). In Tumalo Town, you will find a general store offering refillable beer and cider growlers, propane, gas, and diesel. In Tumalo town, you will also find a coffee shop, pizza parlor, farmstand with local produce, a tavern with pool tables and the historic “Tumalo Feed Co. Steakhouse” (www.tumalofeedcosteakhouse.com) with an old town western feel. For you adventures rock climbing visitors, there’s Smith Rock State Park 30 minutes north and Mt Bachelor 50 minutes to the west for you downhill and Nordic skiers in the winter with plenty of mountain biking and hiking in the Phil’s trail system in the summer. 15 minutes north is “Well Rooted” (https://wellrootedfarms.co yep without the m at the end of their website) where you can pick your own fresh produce, buy meats etc. Fifteen minutes to the west is the Tumalo Reservoir for some quit walking and spectacular views of the mountains. I do not have a dump station; I do offer a portable restroom that gets serviced once a week. If you have a trailer, there's a dump station, "Camp World" charging a $10 flat fee located 3.2 miles from the camp site.

Just across the street starts the Canal Trail that heads East and West. A 5 min bike ride East along the trail will take you to a Fred Meyer Grocery store, Starbucks, and much much more. Or take the Canal Trail West through the massive 123+ acres of forested public land that connects directly to the Deschutes River Trail (only 4 mins away). Once there, the outdoor activities are endless! Great fishing, bouldering, biking, swimming, rafting, and nature viewing spots are all within a couple minute walk from our home. Heading to the Old Mill or Hayden Homes Amphitheater for some shopping, a concert, restaurants, or drinks? It all starts 3/4 of a mile down the hill! A beautiful peaceful 5 acres in a quiet country neighborhood, with views of Mt Bachelor, the Three Sisters, and Mt Washington, Mt. Jefferson Learn more about this land: A 16’x30’ relatively level gravel site with 30-amp hookup (Plenty for air conditioning) with stunning mountain views in our quiet campground country neighborhood. Delicious well water available and wifi. This is for Class C motorhomes and vans (short trailers are fine but no fifth wheels or long trailers). As we don't provide bathrooms, we are not hosting tents or parties that need a bathroom. 9 miles to Smith Rock State Park, 15 miles to charming town of Sisters, 19 miles to adventurous Bend. Short walk to the Deschutes River where you can picnic, swim, fish, or hike on trails. Watch deer graze under the Three Sisters mountains as you relax in the quite, peaceful setting you will be staying at. Fill your RV with our incredible tasting well water (May- Sept we have water) and watch the birds swoop over the valley underneath the gaze of the Cascade Range.

Campsite is on a second driveway to the front of the house on a wooded, half-acre lot in a quiet neighborhood in Southwest Bend. House lots are big and the area provides nice cool morning walks. There is a curb at the start of the driveway but aids will be provided if necessary. Electrical (110x2; 50A with converter to 30A), water, and sewer hookups are available! The sewer hookup may not work if your drain is underneath your vehicle and low to the ground. There is a fenced in yard that may be used if your dog(s) get along with mine and you help with poop patrol. You will need to check the fence line to confirm that your dogs cannot get out, as I am not responsible if they escape. A large part of my yard is rewilding, so you will see tall grasses and increasing varieties of flowers over the years. A hot tub may be available by appointment. House is enhanced by the use of focused life force energy (FLFE.net), so enjoy relaxing in the higher vibes. There is one cat to rule us all and she may grace you with her presence if you welcome her. And a border collie to guard anyone she deems as part of her "flock." Site is located an easily walkable ½ mile from a shopping center with grocery (just closed but hoping for another to take its place), vet, Mexican and Asian-fusion restaurants, and a wine bar with occasional entertainment. Beyond that, is a park with a climb to a tall hill with a lovely 360 overlook view of the surrounding mountains. There is access to the river and river trail about ¾ mile walk away - this trail can take you all the way to Farewell Park and the Old Mill shopping area. And a bus stop is around the corner, just about a house length away. This is a great base location for all your adventures in Bend and surrounding areas, and a quiet place in which to relax afterwards.
