The Ranch has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat.
Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are roads as well as deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City. Tillamook is 25 miles.
We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and French Garlic links) and pork chops.

*Please note, while we have no direct neighbors, we are in a narrow river canyon. There is an active farm and wedding venue across the river. You may hear distant noise of their operations or events, depending on the season. There is also a quarry across the road that operates M-F, from 8a-3p that sometimes can be heard sporadically throughout the day.

This hidden gem is only 1/3 of a mile off the highway yet all you can hear is the flow of the water from Rock Creek which flows along the 2 acres. There is plenty of spots to toss your tent. Personally, I prefer the bank overlooking the stream. Cool your feet on a hot summer day in Rock Creek (the main attraction). Enjoy the evenings around the fire pit for an extra $10/day which includes the firewood. There are complimentary tables, BBQ, chairs. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs, you'll most likely get a bit of barking from the dogs to the east for the 1st hour. I just want to be honest and warn you.

We are closed for the season to let our land rest and, well it gets pretty soggy around here in the winter months. We'll open up in again in April but, we're taking reservations for the 2026 season...
Our one designated site, closest to the river bank we call the Riverside Site. It can be reserved for up to 4 people. It can only accommodate smaller tents, campers, pop up trailers, small pod-type trailers and larger rigs up to 15'. has a rustic firepit and your own deck for viewing the river.
For groups of 5 or more or people or camping with large 10 person tents or trailers over 20', there will be an additional fee and you will need to set up camp in our Riverwood Site, about 150' from the riverbank. You will still have full access to the deck and firepit in the other site but, larger rigs cannot maneuver in the site without tearing up the grass and leaving ruts on our property. **Please note**When you make the reservation you will add an "Extra", ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE.
We have indoor bathroom facilities for our guests in a separate apartment we have downstairs of our house. There is a small living and dining area, kitchenette with barista bar, microwave and small fridge. It is about 150' walk and is visible from the campsites but, still feels private.
We also offer our little Bunkie, the Glass House for an extra fee.
The Bunkie sleeps two comfortably. It has a nice mattress (Please bring your own sleeping bags), a comfy bench, a coat rack, remote control lights and a nice electric heater. There are curtains all around for privacy. You'll use the bathroom facilities in the apartment.
All of our guests have full access to our personal dock to get down to the water. Feel free to fish off the dock, swim, Kayak, SUP or just enjoy the evening on the dock.
Our property is about a 10 minute drive to the Ocean/Hwy 101, just south of Lincoln City. There is hiking close by and miles of coastline to explore. We are happy to help you have the best experience at the coast...Just ask!

Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it’s only half a mile North on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a half mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about a mile to the beach.
Each of our campsites are very rugged: not super flat and have jagged rock.
The roads getting to each campsite are STEEP, NARROW, and have very FEW TURNAROUND OPTIONS. We recommend ONLY EXPERT drivers with 4x4 rigs.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!

Disclaimers:
Although Short Sands Beach / Oswald State Park is close, it’s not really walkable. However, it’s only half a mile North on Hwy 101 to the parking lots from our gate. Most of the campsites are about a half mile up the hill from our main entrance. So a total of about a mile to the beach.
Each of our campsites are very rugged: not super flat and have jagged rock.
The roads getting to each campsite are STEEP, NARROW, and have very FEW TURNAROUND OPTIONS. We recommend ONLY EXPERT drivers with 4x4 rigs.
Lastly; there are no bathrooms! Please make sure you bring your own bathroom!

Sarah and Michael’s property was exactly what we were looking for - private camp site on the Kilchis River for us to park our camper van for the night. Sarah and Michael were great hosts! Welcomed us when we got in, and even helped us get out of some mud that we got ourselves into. Property also has a nice little cabin available to rent!

Tad and Alanna met me at my arrival for a quick get-to-know and what was needed.
Semi-private camp spot was close to chickens, but surprisingly they were not noisy (thankfully no rooster that I heard). Spot is off the main road so only road noise was passing neighbor cars. Crab apple trees were ripe for picking, blackberries already finished.
I spent my daytime hours away from camp spot and at the McMinnville Highland Games Festival where I was competing in heavy athletics. On my departure day, I received a thank you note expressing interest in the Highland Games after meeting me and stating that their family was their watching me, which added a nice personal touch to the visit.

We have stayed three times at this campground, and enjoyed it each time. Well-maintained camping area, clean portapotties, helpful & attentive hosts. It's a beautiful place to spend time. Our only downside this time was the camping neighbors running their RV generators for hours at a time during the day, which was really very annoying and disrupted the peace & quiet, but not against the rules. When we stay at state parks, we're usually out exploring during the day, but this campground is so nice that you may want to just hang out and enjoy your spacious campsite most of the time. We will still return, but got unlucky this time with the noise.
