This is a funky little spot, don't be put off by the drive in. Mike has created a number (5?) of leveled gravel full hook up sites pretty close together, but very nice. We had an incredible time at the yurt! David was an amazing host: he greeted us and shared all kinds of local information and tips on hikes and activities and brought us coffee in the mornings. He has built a magical place and put so much passion, care and attention into everything there. The nature and activities on the property can fill days. (She said yes 😎) Craig was a very nice host and made sure the cabin was well stocked. Despite no running water it had everything you could think to need, and overall you can tell the cabin was built with safety/comfort in mind. We will definitely be staying here again! Thanks Craig!

The whole Viking Longhall property is like stepping into a cute, quirky woodsy fantasy. The unique building design and landscape layout are all charming. The Creekside Cottage was simple, cozy, and well provisioned. David is an excellent host, available and very considerate. I would stay again.

David was a fun and gracious host! We’ll 100% be back! He brought a pot of coffee each morning and a new propane tank to help heat the yurt, told us about the history of the area and places to check out nearby, and was fun and engaging to talk with. My daughters and I had a very fun, safe, and memorable trip and look forward to returning again sometime soon.

I have wanted to stay at the Longhall since my visit to the Yurt several years ago and finally got my wish! My friends and I stayed at the Longhall for my 30th birthday and it was one of the most memorable birthdays I have ever had. Not only is the space remarkable, David was such a kind and generous host and made sure we had everything we needed. I hope to be back again soon— it is one of my favorite places to go for a getaway from the day to day. If you need a place to find some peace and quiet and enjoy the beauty of nature, please consider this hidden gem.

Possum Ridge Ranch is amazing. We camped at Oak Ridge and loved the site. We also explored a bit and walked down to Little Falls which was beautiful. Liz was very nice. The bath houses are clean and a nice surprise while camping. Would definitely recommend and camp here again.

Liz is an amazing host. She came out to visit us and answered all of our questions. The space was a perfect spot for our hammocks. It is quiet and peaceful. There is firewood on site to purchase. The area is level and easy to traverse. We would love to go back and visit Liz. This is a must for anyone looking for a quiet getaway
