Buck Run RV Retreat is located in beautiful Southeast Ohio, situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. We offer three full RV hookup sites (50/30/20Amp) and tent sites ($25) also available. Enjoy hiking, wildlife watching, exploring and fishing in our pond (catch and release) that’s all within walking distance on our 70 acre farm. Bring some friends and enjoy a peaceful RV’ing getaway weekend or a week while taking in the sights and sounds of Mother Nature all the while sitting around the campfire. Visiting the area with your equine? We have you covered with bridle trails. Located a short drive from the famous Hocking Hills region and many other amenities in the area there’s plenty of day trips including Hiking, horseback riding, fishing at Lake Snowden in Albany or visit one of the many wineries Southeast Ohio has to offer.

We had a wonderful time after our arrival. Host was great and help to navigate us through many road closures to get us to the location. Site was great and very peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed doing some fishing and just doing nothing for a change.

Beautiful, peaceful property, the hosts we so very kind and welcoming. We asked for two bundles of wood, there was so much there very much worth the price, my photo is after we had a fire the night before. They offered us veggies from the garden and such good advice on places to go & Vista. We are very pleased with everything and already want to go back!

We enjoyed time there,it was very peaceful and beautiful land. The owner and son stop by and introduce themselves. They are very nice &friendly ppl. I highly recommend to stay if you're in the area. We enjoyed hiking and seeing moonville tunnel and kings tunnel which the are not to far from.

Incredible hospitality and site! Daniel gave us vegetables from his garden and even a generator to use when the power went out one day. Highly recommend this site to anyone wanting a peaceful, quiet stay with top tier hospitality, stop by Buck’s Run!

We had our combined Bachelor’s & Bachelorette’s trip here last weekend and it was the most fun any of us have had in a very long time. The property was beautiful, there was little to no noise and plenty of space for our entire group to hangout and play games. Rain or shine this was an amazing experience. Daniel and his entire family were extremely helpful and attentive to us the entire weekend. I would definitely come again and I would recommend this spot to others!

We had a wonderful time camping at this site. We were blessed to meet Daniel and stay on his property. He went above and beyond to meet our needs, and we would definitely stay there again. We camped here primarily to hike and explore the Hocking Hills area, and though this property was a little far from the popular trails (about 55 mins) it was worth it. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy of the campsites our kids felt free to explore, and they loved fishing in the pond every chance they got. Daniel was a great host and we hope to camp here again sometime. Thank you for a great camping experience!

Beautiful, quiet, level and everything worked as it should! Easy access to all hook ups! It rained every day for us but we still enjoyed our stay. We will return in the near future so we can fish at the pond and hike the property. Hosts were very kind and friendly. Very respectful, welcoming and helpful. Five stars!

Fall Camping with Friends

We chose this site for a fall friends trip and couldn't have been happier about the spot! Gorgeous views, attentive host, and decent seclusion. The site was well maintained and the retreat wasn't crowded with too many camping spots. Almost zero road noise so evenings were very peaceful. Highly recommend, and we will be returning for years to come. Thank you for a great weekend, Daniel!

Great site. Owner Dan Sr and Dan Jr were great and friendly. Awesome being able to have full hook up for our 5th wheel. 50A was available. Very quiet and was able to enjoy the evenings with just our friends who was camping with us. Will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time at Buck Run Retreat! Daniel & Daniel Jr. were amazing hosts, shared some of their garden tomatoes, and the site was beautiful. We really appreciated the full (water/electric/septic) hookup, and hiking the trails. We had great neighbors and it was a perfect weekend getaway. We'll definitely be back again!!

This was our second time staying at Buck Run RV Retreat, always a great experience. It’s peaceful, it’s gorgeous and the host is unbelievably kind! Our last morning we woke up to two baby deer eating and relaxing just feet away from our camper, mama just watched from the tree line, it was so sweet. Don’t hesitate, book your next stay here, you will not be disappointed. Already have another trip booked back at the same site in just a few months. This will always be a favorite place for us. Thanks so much for another wonderful stay!

Had a great 1-night visit at the campsite on the way back from bringing a new NuCamp Barefoot travel trailer down from Michigan to NC. First time ever for us camping and it was perfect. Great directions, easy access, and easy connection to 30AMP power. We didn't have a water hose with us to connect, but Daniel brought us one to borrow and even helped us connect it. He is awesome and we will definitely stay there again if in the area. Beautiful land and peaceful.

We had a great experience probably because we were the only campers. The owner is friendly and helpful. Sites are clean, grassy and level. There are 3 sites close together. If you’re going on the weekend, hope for good neighbors.

Excellent spot, great sites, peaceful surroundings, the fishing was fun and the Daniel's were very accommodating. Lovely property easy for us to get our 32ft Class C with tow vehicle in and out. We will certainly be back! My dogs loved it!

PERFECTION!! This is exactly what we needed for a quick getaway with our pups! Quiet and isolated but a complete full hook up! No fireworks to scare the pups! The owner of the land checked on us both days and gave us a bag full of red potatoes straight from his garden! We sliced and cooked them up over the fire and brought the rest home. Lovely scenery and beautiful people at a reasonable price! Our dogs were able to run and play without leashes too! Quick walk through the woods if you wanna go fishing and short drive to Hocking Hills as well. We will definitely come back here if we just need some peaceful R&R!!

Daniel was very kind and accommodating. It was our first time RV camping and we had a great time. Our 2 year old loved walking down to the pond and watching for fish. Our dogs appreciated having some space to run. Daniel even gave us some fresh potatoes from the garden. We will be back!

I can not put into words how much my husband and I enjoyed our trip. The location was fabulous, close to Hocking Hills and what a view from our camper. Everything we were looking for and more. Dan is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and we can't wait to go back

We have the BEST time at Dan's place. Dan Sr and Dan Jr are the nicest hosts, very responsive and hospitable. The property is the perfect getaway. There is a fishing pond and trail as well as an open yard for the kids to play. Love it here!
