Weekend Trip to Bill S. and Nancy's property

Had a great stay! Bill met us in the driveway and showed us where to park. We requested full hookups so stayed next to the house. Took the dog out for a nice walk along the country road and slept peacefully (actually slept in and was late getting on the road). Serene, quiet, beautifully landscaped property!

We had a wonderful time staying at Bill and Nancy’s Hipcamp! While our site was up against the garage and not a traditional scenic campsite that we are used to, the location was excellent and worked well for our stay. The real highlight was the warm hospitality—Bill and Nancy are fantastic hosts who made us feel welcome from the start. Their property is peaceful, and we appreciated the convenience of being close to everything we wanted to explore. It was a great spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the surroundings. If you’re looking for a simple, quiet place with friendly hosts, this is a great option!

We van camped at Bill’s place on a rainy New Year’s Eve and had a lovely time. The property is beautiful and quiet, and Bill was a great host - came out to meet us and show us where everything was. I’m happy to know about this place!

Bill and Nancy were the best hosts! We camped at their property for 2 nights in late December 2025. Bill communicated clearly from the get go and made sure we had all the info we need to find the property and have a comfortable experience. He took extra steps to ensure that we could use their outdoor flushable toilet even during the winter. Bill made sure to check in on us and ensure that we were setup right and comfortable for the winter camping experience. He also provided us with plenty of firewood to make sure that we were warm and comfortable for the whole stay. Thanks to Bill and Nancy’s hospitality, we had an awesome first winter camping trip. We highly recommended this place and look forward to coming back in the future!

This is our 4th trip and most crowded. There wad a group of 10 people tent camping just 100 yards up the hill from us and another RV over by the main house but it was so spread out that we just did things like we did the last 3 times. I.E. played frisbee with the dog lol

Awesome property! My doggies loved it! Bill and his brother were very welcoming and informative. Their family land is beautiful and if you plan to have a fire, be sure to get the firewood onsite from them. They have plenty. Great stay! We will be back! Thanks Bill and Nancy! We hope to meet Nance too, next time.

The toilet is not available in late fall and winter due to freezing temperatures. It's pretty dark here. There are no large cities anywhere around here. My family moved here in 1957 and I purchased it from my father in 1975. My wife is responsible for much of the landscaping and home improvements that have been done since 1990. We are retired self-employed .

This is retired farm in the middle of nowhere. We have a lake that is stocked with trout, catfish, bass and whatever else is in there. The lake is catch and release only. Fee for fishing. This is a place for people that want to enjoy nature and not have several people camping next to them. This is not a campground with a lot of people, sometimes you may be the only people staying there. Learn more about this land: Hike in woods, basically enjoy nature. We have wooded areas and open field areas to explore. Great place to get away from the world and relax. No utilities or restrooms available. Cell phones only work in limited areas.

Surrounded by beautiful colors in the fall on your nature hikes. Or a winter wonderland if you choose to camp in your RV. Our private bathroom with shower is open from May-Oct located behind the main house between the garages. Outside of those months there is a porta potty on site. Firewood is for sale on site. There is no water or electric at sites. You are welcome to use our pavilion to charge phones or use microwave. Each site includes a fire pit, table, garbage can. Access to power including a charging station for phones etc. are located inside the pavilion. Other garages and equipment are restricted from use. No water non potable or potable water is provided. We have bottles of water for $1.00 Base price for each site allows for two (2) guests. Additional charges apply for more persons. Limit of one (1) tent per site and maximum of four (4) persons or one (1) family per site. No smoking near pavilion or main house and no recreational drugs allowed. Pets will require prior permission from property owner. Parent must accompany children at all times while swimming or at playground area. Please clean up after yourselves at all times and respect the property and owners.
