Our music-themed rental is a cozy mother-in-law suite, named after one of our favorite Pink Floyd songs, conveniently located in the vibrant city of Wilmington, North Carolina. The rental is pet friendly, has a private entrance and is equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay including a cozy bedroom with Queen size bed, a fully stocked kitchenette, a private bathroom, and a living area where guests can relax and unwind. The living area also provides two sleeper sofa couches that fold out into full size beds. The decor features concert posters and artwork inspired by famous and local musicians and artists. You’ll get to take in a little bit of Wilmington music history, and can keep yourselves entertained with instruments, collectibles, record player, Bluetooth speakers, board games, a video game system with 10,000+ games, books, and much more. Guests can also enjoy outdoor amenities with our patio area that has a grill, fire pit, outdoor games, patio furniture, and is perfect for entertaining, or just taking time to relax while enjoying the pleasant North Carolina weather. Local Attractions: Just minutes from the cargo district, soda pop district, Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, Live Oak Amphitheater, Wilson Center, Thalian Hall, and historic downtown Wilmington, guests have easy access to a variety of local attractions, tours, history, and historic sites. You also can’t miss out on our lovely beaches, breweries, bars, restaurants, and of course all the live entertainment from local and touring music acts, comedy, and theater, that pass through our lovely city. We also provide bikes for biking to neighboring attractions. We also know how much of a pain it can be to travel with things for the beach, so we have beach chairs, sunscreen, towels, and other beach needs, available for you if you wish to visit our beaches. There will be a welcome book that will provide you with some of our favorite local restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee shops, venues, events going on during your stay, and maps of safe biking routes to some of our neighboring attractions. Partially cleared private land with a gravel parking spot. Glamp in your rv and enjoy the countryside. Yes! Only 15 minutes away from downtown Wilmington. Go walk the riverfront, take a riverboat ride, visit a brewery and definitely go to see the battleship! This site is also a short drive to Wrightsville Beach approximately 20 minutes. (Going In yet another direction) The land is a twenty minute drive to charming Southport with shops, restaurants and the chance to see dolphins! Several movies have been filmed in the area. Also nearby you can go to see the Oak Island lighthouse. You can take the ferry from Southport to Bald Head island, ride golf carts and see the Bald Head Island Lighthouse and learn about saving turtles. Visit Carolina Beach (also known as Pleasure Island) which has a boardwalk, arcades, Brit’s donuts and the marina which offers boat cruises. Kure beach is and Carolina beach are both within about a thirty minute drive. On down the road from Kure beach is Historic Fort Fisher and the NC Aquarium. Adventure awaits at whichever direction you choose. Please note that this camp site has no septic, no electric. You can camp with an RV and a generator. There’s no dumpster. Please keep site clean. There is a Community dock nearby (in walking distance from the site) that takes you through a trail in the woods and all the way to a beautiful view of the river! The site is tucked in with farmland but a short drive to conveniences. Lyft rides are available from the site to nightlife in downtown Wilmington!
