Green Acres Private Campground

I came here in early November and wound up extending my stay twice because we enjoyed it so much. Connie and Jeff have a beautiful well maintained piece of property with plenty of level ground for the camper. There were several trails I explored with my pets and plenty of wood for fires at night. Plus only a 15 minute drive to the beach. It felt very private and safe the whole time I was there. I hope to be back someday!

Wow! What an awesome, peaceful and secluded, but still close to everything spot! For off-griders, this was perfect for us! And Connie was a pleasure to work with! Definitely recommend!

Connie is a lovely host with a tidy, spacious property! Connie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at our site and helped us with our beach day needs. The site was LARGE with trees dividing us from the next site, picnic table, charcoal grill, and a little trail in the back. Would recommend to anyone looking to go to the coast on a budget. Thanks again, Connie! ***if you’re sensitive to noise while sleeping, this might not be the place for you given its close to a busy road.

Camp is great and well kept. Lots of space and very private but still close to anything and everything you could want. It's close to the beach so of course it's going to be hot and humid with mosquitos so be prepared if you have a tent in the hot months!

Site 8 was perfect for our long weekend beach trip to OIB! Wanted to save money but still wanted to come on the family vacation, so instead of missing out we decided to camp at Connies! We put up our hammocks up & the breeze was perfect enough to sleep even during the hot days. Just wear your sunscreen ;)

I was quite skeptical using this app for the first time. This camp site was the first we tried out! We had absolutely NO issues with anything. It was very secluded and we even added shower bags and wood to our reservation. It was SO worth the extra $5 a piece! We weren’t at the site much due to exploring the shops and beaches. We did see Connie only one time and she was extremely nice when we did. I liked that she actually checks on the campground, seeing if anyone needed anything. They even have a toy box full of badminton kits and other toys to play with friends. I would most definitely recommend coming to this site if you’re going to the Ocean Isle area!

This was a last minute find for an anniversary get away for my husband and I. The spot pretty much found me online after searching.l for days for an opening near ocean isle. Ocean isle, calabash and sunset beach is only minutes away from the sites. Connie has a beautiful piece of land! We stayed at site 3 , the sites are spaced out enough to where you have your own private area, but also visible to other sites. We actually were able to have the whole campground to ourselves. Each site has a picnic table with an umbrella and fire pit ready to use. Connie has lots of goodies in a box for kids and family activities if you come with a family. We def plan to bring the family back here! Nice hiking trail as well. Connie also offers a shower in a bag, ports toilet and other needed items if you must have for very cheap prices. Nothing to complain about at all! The weather was rainy for us but we cannot control Mother Nature and it was still so much fun!

Site Seven

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The sites had picnic tables, a fire pit and even a charcoal grill. The location is very private and sorta secluded but you can still easily drive to stores and the beach. During our stay we had a thunderstorm come through and our site (#7) got a bit flooded. Nothing major, just would recommend setting up tent closer to the grass if you know there will be rain during your stay. Connie was very helpful and responsive during our stay. We will definitely be back :)

So cute and you could definitely see how much the host cared. The host messaged me about incoming weather and kept me informed. Really appreciate the citronella candle at the site as well.

This was nicely set up with a picnic table at each site, and cute details like shared outdoor games box and welcoming decor. I appreciated the ability to book this last-minute, at a convenient location for us on our college-search road trip. The GPS led us right there, no problem.

We had a sweet spot hidden by trees. It was nice and private. I loved how pretty and well maintained the whole place was. Theres a fun little trail that winded through the wood behind the campspots and lots of grassy space to play and relax.
