It was the perfect spot for us! Quiet and save neighborhood ! Only minutes drive to great beaches ! Thank you for the tip on the free parking by the beaches ! We will be back !

Nice level parking spot for my van. The electric hook up was easy to find and use. Same with water. It was so easy to get to Topsail Island and the beaches. Had a great time.

Topsail Base Camp
Great place to spend a couple of nights, the hosts were wonderful. They met us and showed us where to park and offered water and electricity, which we didn’t need. We rode our bikes to the beach and a wonderful restaurant. Definitely recommend this as a great place for a very quiet few nights.

This was a great spot that was super close to the ocean, a cool brewery and shopping! Would highly recommend staying here!

Frances and her husband have a great spot! It is level and shaded, and the hookups are very easy! We would definitely stay here again!

Frances was wonderful with communication. Ensured that someone was there to make sure we had all we needed. Great stop with electrical and water. Super close to restaurants and shops. Really enjoyed the local distillery.

What a great spot! Level, shaded, easy to get in and out of. Also convenient to everything in Topsail and Surf City but off the beaten path. Very kind and gracious hosts, I definitely recommend!

Topsail Base Camp
Lovely quiet neighborhood. Site was clean, level and driveway wide esp for beach. The shade of the trees was lovely! We arrived later than planned and had some camper battery issues. The hosts were very kind and helped us, but also gave us space. We traveled with our two young children in a truck camper and everyone had an amazing time. Also the neighbors were friendly and made us feel welcome without intruding at all. Lovely. Come and go without much neighborhood fuss. We will definitely be back.

This was our second visit to the base camp and again it couldn’t have been better! The electric and water hookups were readily available and even though we arrived later than planned Frances met us and made sure we had everything. I would definitely recommend this site.

We loved bringing our whole family (and our dogs!) to stay at topsail island 😍. Frances was an awesome host, the driveway was flat wide and level (perfect for our camper!) and super easy to find. It was less than 2 miles from the beach and tons of other stuff was even closer. The neighborhood was really nice with slow speed limits so it was really nice taking the dogs for walks. Can’t wait to come back!!
