Lake Linda is a private 6 acre lake that's located on our family's 40 acre property. We are just 5 minutes from Surf City, Topsail Island, and 20 minutes from both Wilmington and Jacksonville. You'll often see ducks and geese on the lake. Lake Linda is a peaceful place, but conveniently located within a few minutes of food, entertainment, and of course some beautiful beaches. On the back half of the property, we also have a small family farm. Pasture raised pigs, chickens, cows, sheep, goats and we even a have a couple of turkeys! We sell farm fresh eggs as well as poultry, beef, and pork, all raised right here on our farm. Our pork & beef is USDA inspected and processed! We try to help our farm animals have a great life while they’re with us. We have two sites available by the lake! One site is on the corner of the lake by the dock. This lakeside site has a 30 amp service. This site does not have water or sewer, however we have 2 full bathrooms in our bathhouse, one even has a pet wash station! The bathhouse is only about 1000 feet away, and you’re welcome to walk or drive down to it! We can also help you fill your water tank and you’re welcome to dump in the full hook up site as long as there isn’t someone camping there. The second lake site has a beautiful view. This lake view site has 110 outlets as well as water. It does not have sewer hookup, but we have 2 full bathrooms in our bathhouse, one even has a pet wash station! The bathhouse is only about 1000 feet away, and you’re welcome to walk or drive down to it! You’re also welcome to dump in the full hook up site as long as there isn’t someone camping there. We also have 2 camper sites available on the farm, as well as a few tent sites. The farm is just a short walk from the lake, so no matter which you choose, you can enjoy the best of both! This is a working farm, we have cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, & turkeys! You’re welcome to meet & enjoy them! We even have a calf that was born here, and we have baby pigs regularly as well! We’ve also recently added a bath house, with two bathrooms. Both have stand up showers, and one even has a pet wash station! We have 2 gas grills on the property for your use as well! One is by the lake, the other is on the farm. We also place picnic tables at all sites before check in! During the holiday season, Lake Linda becomes a winter wonderland for all to enjoy! Lake Linda's Christmas Lights is a light display surrounding the Lake and synchronized to music. This tent site has a beautiful view of the lake, and offers shade & 110 electrical outlets too! It’s technically located in our front yard, but we have a very large yard, and we promise not to bother you! Continue reading to learn about our bathhouse and more! THERE IS NO WATER OR SEPTIC AVAILABLE AT THIS SITE BUT WE HAVE A TWO FULL BATHROOM BATH HOUSE! Whew! Glad we got that out of the way! Sorry that was in all caps, but we had one camper that was upset that this wasn’t the full hook up site. We just don’t want to anyone to be disappointed! Now back to the fun stuff! A short walk to the back half of the property is our working farm! You can view the chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats, cows, and pigs of all sizes. We also have farm fresh eggs and meat from our farm available for purchase! We do have a bathhouse available for you to use located less than 1000 feet from the site. It has two full bathrooms, one of which even has a pet wash station! Although no kitchen is available, we do have gas grills available for you to use. One grill is by the lake, the other is on the farm. Just family lives on the property, so you can have your space and we’re always here to help you with anything you may need!

Full Hook Up Site #3 on the Farm!

This site has 30 & 50 amp service, it has water hook up, as well as septic! We will be working the farm during the day as far as feeding the animals along with selling meats that are raised here. Our farm has goats, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, and turkeys! The land is surrounded by N.C. Gamelands and much of the back is uncleared so wildlife encounters are possible. This is a great way to be close to nature and enjoy the peace and quiet! This is 1 of 3 full hook up sites available on the farm. One site is occupied by a long term rental. There are also 2 gas grills available for you to use! One grill is by the lake, the other is on the farm. This is a pull through site, so you don’t have to worry about backing in or out! We have a two bathroom bathhouse, which includes showers, and one even has a pet wash station. If you had rather not deal with the camper shower and toilet you’re welcome to use ours! This site is about 1000 feet from the lake, so you can still enjoy that as well! It’s a short drive to the beach but off the beaten path so plenty of room to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

This site is on the side of the Lake. It does NOT have septic, but it does have 30 and 50 amp hookups, as well as 110 outlets & water! This site is acceptable for most campers as well as tents. Location is nice and has a lot of potential. You can tell the family there is taking steps to improve things. They have plenty of animals to see and hear. Would be a fun spot for young kids.

We loved Lake Linda's campsite. We were looking to take a spontaneous beach trip with our dogs and this place was perfect for that. Topsail Beach is dog-friendly during the summer season and it was only 15min away. The dog bathing station in the washroom was a huge plus for bathing our sandy dogs after a beach day. We also enjoyed walking around and meeting all of the farm animals. We will definitely be back again!

We loved the camp site. It was peaceful and secluded. Linda was a great host and took care of our needs if we needed. I would definitely recommend it. It’s not far from the beach. Everything is a short drive from the campsite. I will definitely be going back.

We loved camping on Michael and his wife land.! They were very friendly and helpful and communicated as needed. Place is close to Surf City and Topsail Beach and shopping and food. The many farm animals there were fun to see and experience. Bath house was wonderful to use. Would visit again. Thank you !

We loved the site full hook up for our camper The most beautiful bath house we have ever seen. The hosts were so nice and helpful. The farm my wife fell in love with the animals that she left me setting up the rv alone. Ha ha this is a must place to stay. The host also have other stuff online while your booking the site. This place is a gem, the farm animals were so cute, we even saw some piglets! There was going to be inclement weather for a couple of days of our stay and the host generously offered a space inside the barn if we needed to take cover. Very friendly and also gave us our space. 10/10; we will be back

I think we are the 1st ones to stay at the full hookups spot on the farm. It didn't seem ready for guests. Stairs to the brand new bathhouse missing. The hook ups are kind of far from the parking spot...we used every single inch of water, power and extension and sewer house. The host was awesome and offered extensions as well but we had enough. They also offered to help us park. It was private and proximity to the animals was nice if you like farm animals. The new bathhouse had a dog washing station which was nice since we spent so much time at the beach. Location was great for beach access to topsail and surf city. For the price per night it seemed a little rough and unfinished. Perhaps given some time it would be very charming.

Mike and Tonia were great hosts! Our camping spot was perfect, right on the water's edge. The lawn was freshly cut and the lake's edge was trimmed down enough to be able to fish from the bank easily. The lake is clean and has lots of bass and bluegill. You can buy meats and eggs from them that come straight from their farm. I recommend getting the sausage and eggs for a great breakfast. We enjoyed taking our dog for a walk to see the farm animals. He also enjoyed the ducks and geese that would come up to our campsite. There is a clean bath house with 2 showers and 2 toilets. They also have a dog wash in one bathroom. The location is perfect, only 10 mins to the beach and Surf City Ocean Pier. There's a Bojangles within walking distance and lots of restaurants and groceries close by. This is truly a great place to unwind and relax!

The stay with Michael was amazing! We had a great spot overlooking the lake that we had all to ourselves. Camping in a pop-up tent trailer, we needed shower/bathroom accommodations, and Michael’s site had full amenities for us to use. Then, being only a short drive to the beach, it made for a great weekend trip away. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed at Lake Linda in the RV site by the lake. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Just what we needed to relax during our long Spring trip. Michael and his family were so welcoming. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We had an amazing experience at Michael's campsite on the lake. He welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. My kids loved the fishing and seeing farm animals. We spent several hours at Top Sail Beach which was only 10 minutes away. Fantastic location and we hope to return for their famous Christmas lights.

Our family came into town for a concert and decided to save a little money by camping. The site was not exactly what we had imagined BUT it served its purpose. It was quiet and convenient with ample room to park our vehicles. Michael was very accommodating when we arrived and we never saw them again. Of course we were not there a lot either.

Quiet location with great access to Topsail Beach! Our site was grassy with a great view over a small lake. Way better than cramming in like sardines at a campground. Our hosts were great as well! Recommend!

Our stay at Lake Linda was so peaceful. We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and friendly chats during our stay made our day. They are in full swing of placing their Christmas lights for the 2022 season and I’m sure it will be bringing cheer to many. What a wonderful first Hipcamp experience!

Wonderful place to base camp in Surf City. The main reason we were here was a planned fishing trip on the flats but our style of camping doesn't mesh well with your traditional RV campground. Wonderful hosts who were always looking out for anything we might have needed. It was great to get to take the kayak and SUP out on the private lake as well. Highly recommended.
