We added an additional canvas top to keep you completely dry and sheltered. This site is totally private among the rhododendrons and has a creek you can hear while sleeping.

Weekend Trip to The Homestead At Little Creek

As a first time solo glamper, this exceeded my expectations. I was greeted by the Megan, her husband, and their dog Myra. Traveling alone can be scary, but Myra was near me all night. She also walked me to the bathroom each time I went. The tent had a heater, as well as a fireplace in the glamping area that I used. In the morning, I got to meet all of the wonderful animals on the farm. With this location being only 30 minutes from Dix park, it’s the perfect place to crash after seeing Thomas Dambo’s trolls! Great for a group camping trip, but I loved doing it solo.

My husband and I loved this whole camping experience! The tent is super spacious with a beautiful view of the creek. We'd wake up to the sound of happy ducks playing in the water too. I have back problems and was worried about the bed at first, but man! It was SO comfortable. I was even able to use the swing yoga rig at the pavilion to do some decompression for my back. Vicki was so kind and very communicative with any and all questions. I also loved all the little signs that give detailed instructions for any and every thing. 100/10 can't wait to go back!

This was an absolutely adorable place to stay! Everyone was very friendly and it was great that there were shared spaces, but I still felt like I could have privacy at my site. The whole campground was well maintained, and perfectly located between hiking at DuPont State Forest and the night life of Asheville!

We had an incredible stay! Vicki is a phenomenal host who has clearly dedicated lots of time to creating a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy the outdoors. She had proactively reached out to me when Site 3 opened up and offered to upgrade us, so happy that we did! All of the sites are wonderful and offers a perfect getaway base camp for exploring the nearby outdoors and Asheville. We hope to be back!

Weekend Trip to Mila’s Bunny Farm

Cat was a fantastic host, showing us everything and helping hold rabbits, and sharing about all the details. She gave a great hike recommendation 1.5mile to the Waterslide Rock and we did it at sunset. The tent was spacious and she setup 2 extra beds with pillows and sheets and blankets. She gave us extra firewood which made for a fantastic fire at night and in the morning for drinks and warmth. The tent and waterwheel and rabbits and creek running past all made for a memorable trip!!

Really liked the privacy of the property, the conveniences of the outdoor shower, sink, bathroom, and electricity in the huge tent with comfortable bed! Also great location to access Cherokee, Great Smokey Mountains, Maggie Valley, Lake Junaluska, and Waynesville!

We had a gorgeous trip to Pisgah Forest when the leaves were starting to change in October. Staying on Vicki’s land was a great experience. Everything was clean and tidy and exactly how it’s described on the website. It’s also a perfect location for hikes, bike rides, restaurants, and activities/shopping. We plan to go back soon to visit the chickens!

10/10 would recommend this site for a friend! Cat was a great host, provided clear driving directions and directions once we arrived. The bunnies were close to our site but didn’t make a lot of noise and were so fun to play with! The drive to get there was beautiful and so worth being a little far away from town to get those views! This was our second year coming to Growing Faith Farms and this year was just as wonderful as the first! We were greeted by Joe and Tina upon entering the property and they took the time to lead us up to our site and show us everything, even though we had gotten there well after dark. The bell tent itself is AMAZING. The bed is super comfortable and the provided heater kept it cozy in there all day and night. One thing that keeps us coming back to Growing Faith Farms is the peace and quiet that you get to experience while still having modern conveniences such as running water, HOT water, and electricity. If you’re looking to enjoy beautiful views in a quiet setting without giving up all the comforts of home, Growing Faith Farms is the place to go!
