this campsite felt like a hidden oasis in their backyard! there was enough privacy where we felt like we were alone and the sound of the stream at night put us right to sleep.

2 nights at Organic Farm in the Pocono Mts.

Nice spot with some great views of the Delaware valley. Old farmstead with fields to saunter in. Level site, big fire pit and lots of space to relax. Goats are great for kids to mingle with. Tons of berry bushes if you’re there in June/July. Easy access off 209 (though you can hear some traffic at night). Waterfront park just down the road. Water Gap is 10 mins away. Driveway is steep, be careful in wet weather. Some poison ivy around if allergic, so be careful in spring. Certainly a place we may revisit in another season.

We had the most wonderful time! Paul and Marilyn are very sweet and accommodating. We enjoyed hanging out with all the animals. We also had a great time canoeing on the lake. We would definitely recommend visiting!

First of all, Thank you Marilyn and Paul for being great hosts to so many families who camp here. We were greeted with lots of love surrounded by animals! Even their cat Tom jumped on our car to say hello. I loved the land, the lake looking over and everyone grilling outside camping around us it’s truly amazing. Every morning we were given the opportunity to feed the animals and have our own experience! If you love Farm Life you will love this place. The Animals are gentle and very loving and perfect place to receive relaxation and healing while you’re at it! My partner and I love to go on our boat as well and we were able to do just that. Thanks so much! & hope to come back very soon!!! 😊

Beaverwood farms was a wonderful experience to camp. My boyfriend and I went for memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The animals in the farm are awesome, so friendly and sweet and fun to be around, especially if you've got some treats on you. They had fresh eggs for sale as well which was a nice surprise in the morning, the wood they have for sale is a great deal, you'll have a campfire all day long. Very pretty property, lake views, boats you can take on the lake, and just overall wonderful treatment from the owners. I am planning on coming back for sure this summer.

We absolutely loved staying at Paul & Marilyn’s property at BeaverWood Farms! There were plenty of different areas that you could set up your campsite, and the farm animals were super friendly. I arrived a bit later than the check in time listed but Paul was very accommodating and the check in process was easy and quick. We definitely recommend bringing boots as the grounds can get a bit muddy and the animals use the bathroom around the entire campground, so be prepared for that haha. Also, beware of the goat named Chaos, as he is ruthless and makes his rounds to all the picnic tables and grills LOL. Paul also hosted a bonfire on the last night we stayed which was super fun and had the entire campground come hang out. Overall we had an amazing time, and we highly recommend staying at BeaverWood Farms!

This was an impromptu trip for a couple, car camping. We didn't expect much, except some unusual animal encounters, and boy were we wrong! The farm is gorgeous! It was a memorial day weekend, so there were quite a few other campers, but there is so much room that it did not feel crowded. The amenities are top notch, the animals are friendly, and the hosts are just unreal. We will definitely be back

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – A Hidden Gem with Heart (and Farm Animals!) I can’t say enough great things about this campsite! Not only is it beautifully nestled on an animal farm (which made for an unforgettable and peaceful stay), but the real highlight was the incredible hospitality from the owner, Paul. From the moment we arrived, Paul made us feel right at home. The farm is full of charm—adorable animals roaming freely, stunning countryside views, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. It's the perfect blend of nature and warmth. But what really stood out was Paul's kindness. My drone managed to get stuck in a tree about 50 feet high (yep, great piloting on my part!), and Paul didn’t hesitate for a second. He brought out his atv, tools, and all the determination in the world to help me get it down. It was no easy feat, but thanks to him, I drove home with my drone—and a great story. If you’re looking for a campsite that goes beyond the basics, where you’ll meet someone who genuinely cares about your experience, this is the place. Thank you, Paul! Can’t wait to come back.

Weekend Trip to Catskill's Le Petite Cabine

Le petite cabine is the perfect combination of civilization and simplicity. We had a rainy weekend and so enjoyed the sound of the rain on the roof, the birds and the river and that’s all the sound there was! It was incredibly private. The outdoor shower was incredibly refreshing. It is a 5 minute drive from the town of Narrowsburg which has all kinds of restaurants and shopping. There is direct riverfront access. The site is good for all seasons and the host provided wonderful instructions and recommendations which helped us enjoy our trip so much. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. We have a 1984, a 1975 and a 1966 all with solar electric lighting. Running water is located at the camp store. Take a look at our listings or ask me. Our sites are in the middle of the 40 acres of beautiful undeveloped land to explore or just enjoy the quiet. We still have all the cool stuff like tons of restaurants, breweries, wineries & vineyards, and farms all around. Boulder Point Camping is centrally located among indoor and outdoor activities, great restaurants, local shops, and antiquing. We are close to loads of hiking trails, state parks, restaurants, creeks, swimming, fishing and more. Sam's Point, Ice Caves Mountain, and Minnewaska State Park just to name a few! In addition there are plenty of microbreweries, wineries, and farms where you can pick your fruit right off the tree (or vine) as the case may be. We are also a few minutes from Angry Orchard, Gardiner Brewing Company, and Baldwin Vineyards and many many others... Dogs welcome with an additional $20 fee. The tent has been carefully curated and styled by the designer/photography duo hosts, and boasts an eclectic, refined chic style. ☕️Inside the tent is a queen size bed, nightstands, lanterns, solar powered central fixture, two dining chairs, coat stand, clothes rack, fresh towels, cabinet for keeping glasses, plates, cutlery, French press, stove kettle, tea, coffee, water, pasta, basic condiments, wood burning stove with kindling and logs, A Jackery power station for charging laptops, phones, and other small items (see images to see what’s compatible. 🩴Just outside the tent is a cooler which keeps food cold for up to 10 days! We provide ice at the beginning of the stay. This also doubles as a bench to sit and remove shoes before entering the tent. We provide slippers for inside the tent, and recommend shoes that slip on and off easily for going in and out of the tent quickly. 🍳For cooking there is a 4 burner barbecue grill and stovetop, console to prepare, plastic sink for washing utensils and dishes.
