Nestled in native blueberry bushes, high above a beautiful ravine and surrounded by pine trees. This Geo-Dome overlooks the Palmaghatt Kill Stream from its wide windows and beautiful deck. Equipped with a log queen bed, skylight above, super soft linens, cozy blankets, and a down comforter in the colder months. Included are towels, a mini fridge, bluetooth speaker, Keurig machine, coffee, charcoal grill, lantern, umbrellas, a mini library of books and 1 gallon drinking water. If you are coming as a family, one additional children's mattress on the floor may be added.
Outside of your Geo-Dome you will find an amazing private fire pit, charcoal grill and hammock. Firewood bundles are available for purchase for $10 or you may bring your own. In addition, each site has an outhouse, which is thoroughly cleaned after each guest. A bit rustic, but there is no odor!
Geo-Domes are a short 1 - 3 minute walk from parking. Please dress accordingly in colder months. You will be greeted by our Host at the gate for check-in and guided to your site. Guest waivers to be completed at check-in. Our Geo-Domes are dog friendly and require a $75 pet fee. One dog maximum. No cats allowed. You will have cellular service!

**History of The Awosting Club**
In the mid 1950's John Atwater Bradley, then a graduate student, attended a conference in Cragsmoor, the site of a celebrated art colony not far from what is now the Awosting Reserve and The Awosting Club. The next morning at dawn, he went out for an exploratory hike and did not return until long after dark. Bradley hiked through evergreen and hardwood forests, along bubbling streams, roaring waterfalls and shimmering mountain lakes. He discovered an incredible wilderness like none he'd ever seen, populated by whitetail deer, black bear, fox, racoons, bobcat and coyote as well as a natural aviary of hawks, peregrine falcons, owls, eagles and pileated woodpeckers. That day he fell in love with the Shawangunk Ridge.
The Bradley family still maintain the property, and after 50 years of sharing the property with educational organizations, schools, artists, writers, explorers, camps, family and friends, are excited to invite others to fall in love with the Shawangunk Ridge as John Bradley had over 70 years ago. Bradley's daughter, Camilla, and her family are keeping the Awosting traditions alive by sprucing up the camp buildings and platforms while maintaining the trails that have been used for decades for outdoor adventures: from sleeping to eating to playing to communing with nature in all her glory.

Great spot for tents and small campervans! 🚐 🏕️
🚽 Two private bathrooms with flush toilets and a sink, bonus points is the heater — came in clutch fir the chilly weekend! The grounds were nicely maintained as well.
Thanks Harry for escorting us to our campsite!
🥾 Lots of hiking options nearby, but we opted for Bear Mountain — which was an hour drive back towards the city where we live.

We spent two nights in our large tent at Robibero's Winery, and it was an absolutely fantastic time. The tent sites are great, and there are about 4 or 5 of them that have plenty of separation from each other for privacy. They are located up the hill beyond the winery, but within walking distance of no more than about 4 minutes -- in fact, you can see the main winery building from the sites on the hill. Also, firewood was free at the time of this review.
The winery is in a beautiful setting and is open till 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and pizza is available only on Saturday. The pizza is delicious (wood-fired), and the wine selections are fantastic. Also, the winery staff were incredibly friendly.
Overall, a huge thanks to Harry who I booked the site with via Hipcamp -- he's super friendly and easy to reach.

We absolutely loved staying at Robibero. Harry greeted us when we arrived and took care to make sure we were set despite the rain! We started our trip with some excellent wine from the winery, and ended with a beautiful night and big fire. The site had plenty of flat land for the tent, each site has a large fire pit and a table. Harry has a huge stockpile of firewood as well. We cannot wait to come back!

Had a phenomenal time staying here. It was an excellent first Hipcamp experience. The place had everything we needed from a flat tent spot to clean bathrooms and firewood. We especially loved bringing some wine back to our tent from the winery. Just be sure to come early enough to get a tasting! The host was very accommodating and helpful during our stay
