We had a fantastic time at Will's riverside site. We stayed for two nights as a stop on our drive from Maine to Ohio, and what a gem this place was! We loved falling asleep to the sound of the river. Our dog had a blast playing in the water—it was a bit too chilly for us, but we'd love to return in warmer weather. We spent our day hiking and exploring the cute local towns. Bigfoot Coffee was excellent, and we really enjoyed Beer Naked Brewery. Coming back to camp to relax by the fire and listen to the water was the perfect way to end the day. Will was easy to get in touch with and sent a text before we arrived. There was some road noise during the day, but it wasn't bad, and the nights were peaceful. Overall, we loved our stay. You can tell Will genuinely enjoys sharing this beautiful spot, from all the small touches around the camp.

We stayed there this past weekend and although our trip had to be cut short, we already have our next trip planned here very soon! We didn't get to meet the host, but Will was nothing but kind and generous. Not to mention the property was one of a kind! It was beyond perfect for us and our dog. What an idyllic location!! Such a beautiful and spacious campsite. Our dog loved it too! They have everything there! Loved having access to the charcoal grill and the picnic table with the umbrella was super useful. The hosts even included some flowers and a note which was such a lovely touch. The river access was so perfect. Nothing could have made this spot better that it already was, the hosts thought of everything :) Would highly recommend to anyone!

What a great experience I had at Aldenbrook! The land was very well taken care of, with very nice camping spots, fire rings, and a pavilion with coffee and a tv! They even have their own trail system behind the house. Dean was a wonderful host. Very accommodating and friendly. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Wow, I can’t believe I stumbled across this gem for my family of four and two dogs. Will has this place stocked above and beyond. Great ground for a tent. A table with umbrella, cook stove, fire place, wood, chairs, beach chairs, umbrellas, float tubes, and even some fun toys are all there ready for the best camping you can imagine. Completely private and like you have your own mountain paradise all to yourself. We WILL be back.

An absolute gem of a property! Caretakers went above and beyond to accommodate and set us up in a perfect area for our camper. We are a homestead and small campground devoted to the principles of organic farming and self-reliance. Modern agriculture and big business are unsustainable, destroying farmland at an accelerating pace. It is important for us to teach the next generation, there is an alternative. We produce much of our own food. We have friendly goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks, donkeys and horses the guests can pet and feed. There are no swimming holes on our property, but many waterfalls and swimming spots within a short drive (see list below). A quick 5 minute drive will get you to one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. For the truly adventurous, Clarksville Cave is a short drive away.
