The Mill Creek runs along with this property, which features access to the scenic Dunkley Falls & The Black Hole — a cavernous geological anomaly. This famous swimming spot is a perfect place to test your nerve with a backflip off its 20 ft cliffs or just take a leisurely swim in the naturally formed glacier pool. Like to fish? Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain.
Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe.
Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year.
The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line.
Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property.
From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week

Come stay in our 1880s vintage summer cottage, built as a studio by a Keene Valley artist on a secluded and elevated spot in the center of the Adirondacks' High Peaks. It has a gorgeous view of Giant, Hopkins and Spread Eagle mountains. The summer cottage overlooks a cliff and is a few hundred yards from the nearest house, a classic Adirondack camp that shares its driveway but can't be seen. Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain.
Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe.
Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year.
The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line.
Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property.
From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week

Come stay in our 1880s vintage summer cottage, built as a studio by a Keene Valley artist on a secluded and elevated spot in the center of the Adirondacks' High Peaks. It has a gorgeous view of Giant, Hopkins and Spread Eagle mountains. The summer cottage overlooks a cliff and is a few hundred yards from the nearest house, a classic Adirondack camp that shares its driveway but can't be seen. Even so, it is within walking distance of the village of Keene Valley,. Hikers love it because it's a 25-minute walk to The Garden, one of the largest and most popular trailheads in the Adirondacks that has very little parking.
The cottage has a huge covered porch (not screened) that looks out on the mountains and functions as an outdoor dining room with a view. Excellent stay! Beautiful spot, nice and quiet. We spent a decent amount of time just reading books with the windows open. Close to everything. Fire pit was nice, also had a charcoal grill you could use. Would love to stay again, highly recommend!

The lean to was the kids favorite to hang out at, eat meals, etc. Water from a well was provided, water pressure wasn’t the best but just filled our white tank and used water pump, power was also provided. There was a lot of grassy space for us to pull in and park our 22’ sprinter van camper. We choose to be opposite Robin’s beautifully decked out ADK lean-to and campfire ring. The site was quiet and chill. The walks down to the River and to shops in town were easy and convenient. Great site all around.

I loved staying here, waking up each morning to coffee and the view of the mountains was exactly what I was looking for. From the cabin I was able to walk to multiple trailheads and begin hiking. Not having to drive and find parking was a huge plus. And at the end of every night I had a warm fire in the fireplace going and slept perfectly. Id love to visit again!

Nothing but a wonderful experience. The camp site was beautiful with so many thoughtful components and little touches; they even had drinking water. It’s better than a hotel for someone who likes camping. You really only need to bring your tent and food.
Site was Equipped with fire wood, wooden platform to set up your tent, and the picnic table area was also covered. The outhouse was very clean.
At the lakeside the fire pit area was perfect. Many seats to choose from. You can sit down by the lake or at the fire pit and see the beautiful mountain across the lake or just adore the lake itself.
We also used the canoe to paddle around the lake. I swam twice at the beach area. Water was clean and warm.
The owners were very kind and all the instructions were thought of.
I would give 11/10. Recommend wholeheartedly.

Our family of six had the most amazing time camping at the Black Hole and Dunkley Falls campsite. The tents and accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and far exceeded our expectations. The Fords went above and beyond to make our stay special—bringing us warm water for showers and even surprising me with cupcakes for my birthday. They truly think of everything, making it a completely carefree glamping experience.
We loved exploring Dunkley Falls and jumping into the Black Hole, both just a short walk from camp. We also spent a day whitewater rafting and tackling the Adirondack Extreme Adventure Park—there’s so much to do in the area! We can’t wait to come

We have four dogs, and absolutely loved the private off to the side campsite that the Pumphouse was. We had plenty of space to spread out, lovely view of the lake and boats. Fun to watch the farmers market Friday night. Enjoyed the live music and vendors.
Quiet and peaceful at night, Tje noisiest neighborhoods were the delightful owls. Beautiful view of the Champlain Bridge and amazing sunrise views.
Bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Showers were clean and lovely water- perfect pressure and easy temperature adjustment.
This is a great campsite for privacy and space. We had fun cycling down to the marina with the dogs.

Where to go
Western Foothills
West of Long Lake, a string of lakes run through the heart of the Western Foothills, hemmed in by lowland forests and wilderness areas. There are options for RV campers around Old Forge and Inlet, or you can seek out remote backcountry campsites throughout the Moose River Plains. To the south, hikers exploring the West Canada Lakes Wilderness Area can camp in tents or shelters, while nearby Indian Lake has island campsites open throughout summer.
High Peaks
Hiking nirvana lies east of Long Lake. This mountainous region is home to the 46 Adirondack ‘High Peaks’, the tallest of which—Mt Marcy and Algonquin Peak—reach over 5,000 feet. Backcountry hiking and camping in the High Peaks Wilderness Area is a thrill, but come prepared, as trails are rugged and there are no developed campsites.
North-Western Lakes
North of the High Peaks, Saranac Lake is a bustling hub for campers, where you can enjoy water sports in summer, woodland walks in fall, and snowmobiling in winter. Reserve early if you want to camp on the lake’s islands—they can book up months in advance. Further north, the Saint Regis Canoe Area is a forest-fringed wilderness where you can paddle through the wetlands and camp out at primitive sites reachable only by water.
When to go
May through August is the busiest season at Long Lake, but the lakeside town is open for business year-round. Come in summer to swim and boat, in fall to admire the rainbow of foliage along the forest trails, or in winter to hit the ski slopes. Many campgrounds in the Adirondacks are open only from April through September, but RV camping and backcountry camping is possible year-round.
Know before you go
- Long Lake has grocery stores, restaurants, and shops selling camping and fishing supplies.
- Tick season runs from April through September in the Long Lake region, so cover up when hiking and check for ticks after outdoor activities.
- There is no fee to enter Adirondack Park, but state campgrounds charge a fee, and many require reservations. A New York State Fishing License is required for fishing.
- Backcountry camping is allowed on state forest land through Adirondack Park, but camping is not allowed within 150 feet of any road, trail, or body of water unless otherwise marked.
