3 nights at Cozy Mountain Cabin

Standout cabin in the woods. Mattresses & pillows provided (we put our stuff overtop theirs). Luxury hotel-style fire pit set up -the best I’ve seen. Inside camp stove (for heat) is excellent & so easy to use. Fully built out and large outhouse. Gas stove (inside) & gas grill outside. Any comments you see about strangers driving by is because there are other cabins! Nothing to worry about. Nicely located for reasonable driving access to The Ledges & Rock River. Will stay again!

The woods were beautiful, and the little cabin is quite the impressive setup. Everything is very well maintained. You can clearly see the love that was put into all of it. My kids had a great time paddling around on the pond. It’s a pretty quiet area. The lake is close by as well, but the main entrance was blocked during my stay so I did not get to explore that, unfortunately.

This was the perfect, little getaway for us. The location is good, very scenic, lots of trails, swimming and close to downtown Wilmington. The campsite was very clean, inviting and beautiful. Super dog friendly. Stephany was a very sweet and accommodating host. We would love to visit again.

2 nights at Forest Echo Cabins

We loved sleeping on the screened-in porch and watching the fireflies every evening. Tiny Pond was just a short walk away and was great for swimming and paddling. The cabin provided just the right mix of rustic with access to some modern amenities (lights, shower, hot running water).

The cabin was located in a beautiful spot! Our family absolutely loved camping here. There’s campsites around the property but we were the only ones out there during our stay so it was very quiet and close to a swimming hole. Stephanie was very helpful with anything we needed. Overall a great experience!

This is the cutest cabin ever. I loveeeed my stay here. It’s so clean, cozy and well decorated. The property and the pond are so awesome as well. I am obsessed. I’ll definitely stay here again.

This was one of our best summer vacations yet! The Cabin was cozy and we loved our nightly fires inside! Playing scrabble and disconnecting after 5pm truly bonded our family together! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to bond as a family and get in touch with nature!

Stephanie met us when we arrived and offered advice about the Somerset Reservoir to walk. Peaceful, plush green, quiet spot. The sunshine cabin was perfect for myself, my husband and our two dogs! We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill while watching the sunset.. The fireflies in the field at night were magical as we sat next to the campfire! We are already talking about returning later this summer!

1 night at Grateful Acres Vermont

This cabin was well thought out. We had everything we needed to stay the night, get a fire going, etc. There were solar lights, there was heating, there was bug spray. So if we had forgotten anything, it would have been fine. There were also some games and things to do - it wasn't just a 'box' in the woods. I really appreciate the amount of communication from the host. It was evident that she wanted us to have a good time and enjoy our stay.

Weekend Trip to Endless Grove

We loved Gnome cabin and had a wonderful time! Definitely recommend it for solo, girls, beginners for camping/getaway! If you're looking for an absolute secluded place, then it might not be for you. Here's what we loved - 1. Scenic drive to lots of trails, state parks, and nature. 2. Walkable to Slate Valley trailhead and a beautiful state park. 3. Clean and efficient cabin. 4. Spotty cell service. 5. Quiet and tucked away but a safe distance from neighbors. We had a great time and really enjoyed our time here.

Weekend Trip to Grateful Acres Vermont

The Sunshine Cabin was perfect. So was the beautiful view and the meadow next to it that lit up with fireflies in the evening. We also enjoyed swimming at Somerset Reservoir just a mile or so down the road. I would definitely return!

I spent one peaceful night in the Bed in the Shed and it was exactly what I needed—a quiet, cozy, off-grid retreat to unplug and recharge. The shed itself is simple but thoughtfully set up: clean, comfortable bed, bug screens, and just enough space. I brought my dog, and he was in heaven—sniffing through the woods by day, snuggling up with me at night. The Outdoor Center is just a short walk away and has a real bathroom (huge bonus). The trails are stunning and well-marked—perfect for hiking, reflecting, or just wandering. I watched the sun set through the trees and slept like a rock under my down comforter. This place isn’t for someone looking for luxury—it’s for someone looking for peace. Highly recommend for solo travelers, nature lovers, or anyone who needs a reset.

Another year kicking off the summer at forest echo and we couldn't have had a better time! Caretakers are always amazing and kind, the chickens laid a special "mini egg" and Scott went out of his was to give it to my daughter. You can't beat the farm fresh eggs for breakfast. As always, will absolutely return!
