Towner's Country Paradise started out as a wild forest and pasture for cows in the 1940's, owned by Llewellyn Towner. In the 1960s, Llewellyn's love for aviation led him to construct a small airstrip and hangar, and then his son Terry began to plant Christmas Trees (no more cows) and clear much of the land. By the early 1970's our main and largest pond was built and since that time our fully functional cabin, several more fish ponds, roads, trails, running water and generated electricity have been added. Christmas Trees are still grown and harvested by Terry's son Scott Towner. Green rolling hills, deep valleys, a waterfall, ponds stocked with fish, a fully functional cabin, herds of deer, flocks of turkey and Canada Geese, & well-maintained roads and trails here in Addison NY. Underhill Inn is a small homestead located in the Finger Lakes region tucked in the rolling hills near Dryden Lake. We have a small garden, a flock of sheep and chickens, hives of honeybees and countless wild foraging on our 36 acres of pasture and hiking trails.   Take a walk down to Brockendock pond and cruise across the water in a canoe or paddleboat to find peepers, heron, toads and turtles. Drop a line in the water to catch trout, bass and sunnies. The chicken coop is always bustling and there are plenty of eggs to harvest each day. A morning hike on the trails usually kicks up the deer and wild turkeys and at night the barn owl will sing for you if you listen close. Adults and children are welcome to pet and feed the animals on the farm. There are farm tours available where you can learn more about our mushroom garden, composting techniques, blueberries, felting, and more.

These are beautiful wooded camping country sites with plant and wild life located just 10 miles from downtown Corning, New York. There is one rustic cabin available for rent, along with a teepee site, and 2 tent sites. We are between the Finger Lakes and the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, just 1 mile off highway 99/15. Sites are located less than a 400 yard hike from the parking area, each site having both a picnic table and fire ring. There is an outhouse located within 250 yards from all sites. There is river access one mile from camp. Campers that require help getting to a site, can be driven up the hill via side by side. Every site is connected to state land with over 2,700 acres worth of hiking trails. We have a number of mountain bikes, kayaks, canoes, snow shoes, tents, sleeping bags/mats, etc. available for rent on site. In addition, if guests are interested in classes on site, I am a wilderness and survival expert willing to offer assistance as a guide through the trails, on the river, with setting up camp, etc. Some of my survival classes include fire making, shelter building, edible food foraging, self defense training, and fishing and hunting.

This is a beautiful piece of property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and Wine Country of NY. It features a stunning spring fed waterfall and nice forest land. Very close to town but also very secluded and private. Great place to unwind and relax from our everyday lives. It is situated however in a gully next to a creek and waterfall so it is susceptible to heavy rains. It is recommended to at least have an AWD vehicle if rainy. I can usually help campers with getting to the site in my side X side if you need to park up at the pasture. Please order enough wood initially as I have found I spend a lot of time delivering extra wood to campers. It seems as if you will typically go through 2 bundles per night on average. Also I supply a contractor size garbage bag to you if you choose garbage removal. It is also a good idea to text me when you have a solid ETA so I can be here to take you to the site. I want to mention that the two sites closest to the waterfall are a slight hike in and can only accommodate up to 4 person tents so if a bigger group or vehicle camping you will be placed at another site. A bee yard is a collection of anywhere from 4 to 21 hives in one place, and our yards are located at the farm and on private properties throughout Cayuga, Cortland, and Onondaga Counties. We are busy with our bees and at the same time want to share the wonders of our farm with folks so we are very fortunate to have our neighbors Debbie Kahl and Tracy Yardley manage the HipCamp bookings on our behalf. We offer organic vegetables from the garden and work almost everyday in our blacksmith/woodworking shop. About the Property: Our unique property boasts quiet camping on a beautifully manicured MotoTrials Riding and Obstacle Play Course. 2025 marks our first year offering camping to the public, and we look forward to HipCampers joining us in our unique venue. All 4 camping sites are nestled into the Obstacle course. Trials riders and non-Trials Riders alike will find much to enjoy here. Campers unfamiliar with Trial are welcome to take advantage of a Lesson on one of our Rental Bikes, while the Obstacle Course is also super-fun on foot (for walks or runs), mountain bike, trials bicycle, or for playing with your RC toy! We have night lighting to turn on at your request, even if just to sit in the evening and enjoy the lights reflecting off the pond-We surely do! We are located on NY 38 but our traffic is not obnoxious (Log and Milk Trucks, Farm Tractors and Commuters). It is very peaceful here. Your camping can be as private, quiet and leisurely as you wish. The views and big sky are gorgeous in our corner of farm country. Our small pond (tho not suitable for fishing or swimming) provides entertainment w/ turtle sunbathing raft and lots of nature's visitors. Pets always welcome off-leash with your guidance. About the Trials Riding: Sundays are a practice day or Event day. We host 4 Mototrial Events each season (see below) and if spectating appeals, you can plan your trip to coincide. You're in for a treat if you've never seen these nimble motorcycles do their 'thing'... up, over, and around the obstacles. Events are busy and exciting, but no worries (!) trials bikes are not loud. Riders are friendly and considerate. If spectating not your thing- no worries. Non-event/non-practice days are quite laidback. If Trials riders come here for additional practice (or instruction) it's not loud or invasive, nor interferes with any camper training or play on the course. When riders are here (barring Events or Sunday Practice ), it's typically only 2-4 at once. Multiple activities co-exist nicely, as there is plenty of room for all. About the Property: Our unique property boasts quiet camping on a beautifully manicured MotoTrials Riding and Obstacle Play Course. 2025 marks our first year offering camping to the public, and we look forward to HipCampers joining us in our unique venue. All 4 camping sites are nestled into the Obstacle course. Trials riders and non-Trials Riders alike will find much to enjoy here. Campers unfamiliar with Trial are welcome to take advantage of a Lesson on one of our Rental Bikes, while the Obstacle Course is also super-fun on foot (for walks or runs), mountain bike, trials bicycle, or for playing with your RC toy! We have night lighting to turn on at your request, even if just to sit in the evening and enjoy the lights reflecting off the pond-We surely do! We are located on NY 38 but our traffic is not obnoxious (Log and Milk Trucks, Farm Tractors and Commuters). It is very peaceful here. Your camping can be as private, quiet and leisurely as you wish. The views and big sky are gorgeous in our corner of farm country. Our small pond (tho not suitable for fishing or swimming) provides entertainment w/ turtle sunbathing raft and lots of nature's visitors. Pets always welcome off-leash with your guidance. About the Trials Riding: Sundays are a practice day or Event day. We host 4 Mototrial Events each season (see below) and if spectating appeals, you can plan your trip to coincide. You're in for a treat if you've never seen these nimble motorcycles do their 'thing'... up, over, and around the obstacles. Events are busy and exciting, but no worries (!) trials bikes are not loud. Riders are friendly and considerate. If spectating not your thing- no worries. Non-event/non-practice days are quite laidback. If Trials riders come here for additional practice (or instruction) it's not loud or invasive, nor interferes with any camper training or play on the course. When riders are here (barring Events or Sunday Practice ), it's typically only 2-4 at once. Multiple activities co-exist nicely, as there is plenty of room for all. There are many days no one is on the course at all (!) and you may have it all to yourself or possibly with another camper. Hope to see you in our slice of heaven! This is your on stop spot for motorcycle Trials. Mike and Laurel have made a welcoming spot on the hillside for RV's. Easy access to parking from the road. They provided us with a nice welcome packet. That had plenty of information about the area. Places to eat or see. Most people who camp here will be coming for riding. Mike offers lessons as well. But it would a nice spot for anyone looking for a getaway. Don't be put off by the riding. This is not a motocross track. You might be amazed at seeing riders tackling the obstacles and trials bikes are quiet. You might even want to try it yourself? Looking forward to a summer stay. Thanks.

Steve's property was beautiful! We were graciously greeted by Lucy and Steve's wife(I'm so sorry to be blanking on her name, she was very welcoming as well!). Our stay was shorter than we would've liked, but following a nice dirt path to get to our site, we came to a nice cleared out space, with plenty of firewood with some covered just in case of rain. I had my wife and 2 year old with me, and it was so nice to sit by the fire, with absolutely ZERO light pollution to see the stars, and nothing but the sounds of owls and other wildlife in the area. We're already looking forward to booking another trip sometime next year!

This was my second time staying at the little barn on the hill and my first solo trip there. It was a rainy autumn afternoon when I showed up but perfectly cozy inside the hayloft, where I set up my hammock. Laurel got me acquainted with the many new amenities, as they seem to always be making wonderful upgrades to the property. Mike and Laurel's land is the perfect place for me to go when I don't want the hassle of setting up my tent and want a wall and roof and a little electricity. To a tenter, this is a luxurious paradise and I can't wait to return.

The campground only has about a dozen or so spots. It was a pleasant space. It was a good place to stay 20 minutes to Ithaca. Shower could be larger (clean enough). Good price we were left alone and we left satisfied.

Coming later in the season from our first visit meant more rain and fewer campers on the property, which was autumnally idyllic with all of the changing colors on the surrounding trees. It was a wonderful treat as ever to have those waterfalls as our shower throughout our stay. Already looking forward to our next trip out!

We loved camping at the Pine Tree site! It was beautiful, quiet and secluded while still being conveniently located between Watkins Glen and Ithaca. Steve and his wife Anne were lovely hosts and always available to answer questions. Their shop was full of all sorts of treasures from handmade soaps and beautiful cards to tinctures made from mushrooms grown on the farm. The bath house has a composting toilet, cold water sink and shower that is solar heated in the summer. It's beautifully built earthen constuction decorated with gorgeous repurposed glass. Thank you for the much needed get away, we hope to be back soon!

Peaceful and secluded campsites. Both existing camp sites seem like they would comfortably fit at least 2 couples if you wanted to double up. The property has great wilderness to wander, and the hosts, including Lucy the sheep dog are all wonderful. The bathhouse is an earthen building with a cold water sink and shower, and a composting toilet. Beware of what you are getting into with that, and you'll be fine if you are used to those things. Both sites have pull-through capability if you are pulling a micro camper like I was, and prefer not to back up with it. Easy drive into Watkins Glen, moderate drive to Ithaca.

Little Spring Haven

2 RV sites tucked away on a paved county road 3 miles off of Route 414 in Lodi, NY. These sites are close to the NY State Wine Trail with the closest winery a 10 min drive away. Lodi Point State Park is also 5 miles away with public access to Seneca lake. Lodi Point features a boat launch, nice playgrounds and swimming areas. As we are located in beautiful Fingerlakes, you can also find many other state parks including Sampson, Watkins Glen, Hector and Taughannock, all within a short drive. Taughannock Falls is a must see with its 215 foot plunge waterfalls. Each of our RV sites has a 16ft x 45ft stone pad and full electric hook ups with a 110v 20 amp, 30 amp, and 50 amp service. A picnic table and campfire ring are on each site, but there are no water or sewage hook ups available. There is no bathroom on site, you must bring your own. Sampson State Park is the nearest dump station. If you’re Looking for a quiet spot to spend a night or two, this is place for you.

Bosque de Maria / Maria's Forest is named after my dearest late mother, who passed from cancer in 2020.  In 2021 my partner and I were lucky enough to be able to reside on a beautiful slice of forest which we are turning into a sustainable diverse edible forest garden, which will provide food and habitat for people and wildlife for generations to come.  In 2021 we have planted more than 100 trees, edible shrubs, and other perennials. Your bookings directly support this local Black and Peruvian-owned initiative and our path towards realizing our dreams.Learn more about this land:Bosque de Maria / Maria's Forest, run by Chris and KimberlyWe are located on occupied land of the Onödowa’ga:’ (Seneca) Nation, Ho-de-no-sau-nee-ga (Haudenosaunee, or Iroquois) Confederacy, in what has been referred to as Trumansburg, NY. We are a Black and Peruvian-operated site. We offer a safe, welcoming, and relaxing place for BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ guests. Our modest forest farm is nearly half-way between Seneca and Cayuga Lakes in the Finger Lakes area of New York. We offer a small, quiet walk-in campsite in our 2-acre private forest. Upon entering into the site you'll find yourself in a calming plot of mature pine, oak, and cherry trees where a variety of species of songbirds and a family of hawks have found a home. Parking on the property is a very short accessible walk from the tent site. There is a fire pit at the site and guests may access our personal kitchen garden for greens and veggies. A private bathroom and shower with free laundry (yes, I said free laundry!) and drinking water is available for use by guests in the main house. Wheelchair users will need a ramp in order to access the main house; we don't have one at this time, unfortunately.Our site is a great location to serve as an affordable hub for experiencing all that Cayuga and Seneca Lakes have to offer. In addition to being surrounded by wine country, we're located in what's known as the Emerald Necklace: an arc of more than 50,000 acres of conserved land abound with ways to spend time in nature. We are just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute bike ride from the small town of Trumansburg, home to the Tompkins County Fairgrounds (where Finger Lakes Grassroots Festival is held) and some of the best local waterfall swimming holes, to which we can give you detailed directions. Taughannock Falls State Park, Finger Lakes National Forest, and the Seneca Lake Wine Trail are all within a short drive or bike ride from the site. A 20 minute drive east will bring you to downtown Ithaca, where you can visit the renowned Ithaca Farmer's Market, Cornell University, Six Mile Creek, and plenty of bars and restaurants. Ithaca is also home to series of serene swimming holes at the base of waterfalls where locals and visitors relax during the summer. If you choose to go west you'll end up in Watkins Glen where you can check out the 200-foot cliffs and 19 waterfalls of the dreamlike landscape at Watkins Glen State Park, known as one of the best state parks in the U.S.We are both very experienced backpackers, cyclists, and bikepackers. Kimberly is a bike organizer and routemaker who runs Radical Adventure Riders Finger Lakes, a community for BIPOC and FTWN-B (femme, trans*, women, non-binary) bikepackers. She's happy to provide guidance on road, gravel, and mountain biking in the area and share her library of local bike routes. We have a work stand and tools available to fix any small issue you might have on your bike as well. We can also tell you about the hiking, backpacking and cross country skiing in the local area, much of which can be accessed by a 10 minute drive to Finger Lakes National Forest.We ask that those who stay on their property please respect the space and the land. We have a small, delicate ecosystem with newly-planted fruit trees and shrubs, so please minimize your impact on existing vegetation, trees, and soil. We recommend our guests make an effort learn more about the Seneca and Cayuga nations, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the history of the land we are visitors on.Thank you for supporting us and we hope you enjoy your stay in the Finger Lakes region.

Lake-facing, working farm property with two separate campsites available located right off the scenic Seneca Wine Trail (route 414 - trolly stop right across the road) down a private drive within walking distance to Elf in the Oak, Catherine Valley Wine, Ryan William Vineyard, and Solera Tap House. One spot is on our farm nestled amongst certified wildlife habitat and our grape vines. The other is down at the lake with usage of a log cabin, dock with small boathouse, and boat lift (use at your own risk). Bring your own kayak/canoe for easy launch or message us about ours that are available for rent. Pets allowed, but must be leashed at all times as it is a working farm. Any damage to farm animals or land will be responsibility of campers.

There is no running water, however a portable restroom is at the cabin. 12V lighting & USB ports for charging phones. Enjoy the scenic views from the outdoor fire pit or on the screened in porch!
