Wyomanock Farm

32 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents75 acres · NY
Our 75 acres is a wonderful, diverse mix of habitat, harmoniously integrated with our small farm. This land was the homestead of the very first white settler of the area, John Wiley, in 1787. The Wyomanock Creek is the backbone of this little valley. Beaver have dammed the creek at several points to create ponds and other wetland features that support a diversity of wildlife including otter, moose and a myriad of birds, from osprey to herons. This sanctuary is host to many uncommon native plants and plant communities. We would love to share it with you! Your host, Thom, invites you to property to explore 75 acres of meadows, woods and water. Choose one of several sites either in the woods or open areas. You are also free to use our outdoor solar shower or take a dip in the cold pond! Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. There are a few miles of rail trail access just down the road.

Winchcombe Farm

2 sites · RVs, Tents9 acres · Schuylerville, NY
Winchcombe Farm spans a rolling, sunny 9 acres in Schuylerville, NY. We are working to turn the property into a small-scale, sustainable and organic farmstead using permaculture design principles. The property backs up against a 67-acre wildlife preserve. We are blessed with a diverse range of flora and fauna on the property, and breathtaking sunset views. While we are largely secluded from neighbors and on a very quiet road, civilization isn't too far away! We're just a 3-minute drive from the village of Schuylerville and we're fifteen minutes from the town of Saratoga, where you'll find a variety of bars, restaurants, live music and the namesake, world-class natural springs. For outdoor enthusiasts, there is a number of nearby opportunities to explore, including mountains to hike and ski, trails to walk and rivers, streams and lakes to kayak. Our favorite attractions in the area include: - Bound by Fate, a farm-to-bar brewery in downtown Schuylerville (3 min. drive) - Amigos' Cantina, an authentic Mexican restaurant in downtown Schuylerville (3 min. drive) - Hiking in the Saratoga National Historical Park (15 min. drive) - Touring natural springs in Saratoga (15 min. drive) - Hiking in the Adirondacks (30-45 min. drive) Learn more about this land: This campsite is nestled into a secluded, tranquil pine grove on our 9-acre farmstead, and backs up against a 67-acre wildlife preserve. It is situated near our rustic little red barn, and features a private access path and convenient tent-side parking. Your campsite fee includes the use of a fire pit, and two chairs. We love how this site offers both privacy and convenience with a touch of wild! Wind down with our incredible sunset views, fall asleep to a chorus of crickets and an expanse of stars overhead, and wake up to the sound of birds and the horses which live on an adjacent property.

Blueberry Ridge Camp Site

3 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Cropseyville, NY
5.5 acres on raw land that is in the process of being developed. Our family home is to be built here someday, and for now, we are inviting campers to tent here. The lay of the land has lots of Rock Walls, small streams, a small pond, and a one mile drive to Grafton Lakes State Park. Because there this is to be our future home, there is a shipping container on the property and a newly built shed that holds my garage items. There is newly laid crushed bluestone on the driveway and parking space next to the tent site.

The Swim Pond at Olin Springs

3 sites · RVs, Tents5 acres · Mount Vision, NY
The property was historically used for milk cows grazing and the farmer would put the milk jugs in the main emergent spring to keep cold. Federal wetlands in the back are protected from adding to or changing, but can be explored in your wellies! There was nothing on the land when purchased in 2018. We wanted to create our own lake front property for our retirement. The man made pond is blue clay, spring fed and holds water year round. Is was stocked with large mouth bass and channel catfish in 2020. Please, only keep fish over 12 inches. Learn more about this land: Camp in the meadows or down by the pond. Also a small stream and wetlands to explore. All campers can pick where they want to set up camp.
