Come enjoy over 5 generations of our families property stewardship, on 370 acres of forested uplands with 30 acres of lowland meadows. There is no cell service on or close to the property, so save or print your maps before you leave and follow the white oval signs to the campsite. 1.1 miles of upper Esopus Creek awaits visitors for fishing native Brook Trout, hiking, swimming and sunbathing. We have two new bathrooms and a spring feed gravity water system, feeding a wash station and two showers. 3 wash stations are available with one @ showers, one @ kitchen and one @ rest rooms. A large kitchen area, with a 16' long counter and a picnic table is available by the fire pits as well. Delight in your visit at Balsam Gleann MeadowsThere is a minimum two night stay and no more than two dogs is allowed. Pitch or park anywhere by the 3 fire pits equipped with grills and benches . The field is recently mowed and firewood is available for $10 per bundle. A 20 x 30 wedding tent is available for an extra $400 charge. Call 917-370-5758 or 845-254-5764 for questions or assistance

Back field camp site

Catskill campin!

Absolutely a great place to stay. Wide open views of the sky for Star gazing. Great fire pits with log benches and fire grates for cooking. The site is surrounded with mountains all around. Great trails for hiking to the top! The host is very accommodating … answering any questions you might have. Right down the trail if needed! Definitely a Hipcamp special

Back field camp site

Campsite with a great view!

We stayed two nights here and we loved it! It’s a huge open field with spectacular view of a mountains. It was secluded and peaceful. The camp site has 3 fire pits and lots of flat land to setup a tent. James was friendly and very accommodating. We recommend it and hope to come back in the future.
