Located In upstate New York is this hidden gem. This camper was old school, now turned new. With a full renovation to give it a Scandinavian look in the front, and a cozy cabin feel in the bedroom. This will give you a unique experience different from the normal camper your used to! Also at your campsite there is a firepit, garden hose,(not available during the winter)and a 8x8 hammock perfect to stargaze in! We are now offering kindling firewood with fire starter and matches. Feel free to reserve your own firewood. $10 *PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING* I want to be transparent with you guys on the property and size of the camper! -The camper is very small only 21ft. The average height clearance is 6'2" so if you are tall this may not be for you. (I'm 5'9" and its comfortable for me) -If you are a bigger person this may feel too tight for you especially in the bathroom area -The bed is a full size some couples may feel that this is to small for them. -A hot shower will last about 15 minutes once it is heated up. -In the summertime there is bugs some may get into the camper. We do treat the area with safe bug spray but it may not fully prevent them. -There are two other tiny houses and a main house on the property. They are far apart but the main house is close. We have a privacy fence that fully blocks the house. So you are still very private but you are not fully secluded. -In case of fire There is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, and a smoke/carbon monoxide detector inside the camper. The bedroom door is only to be used as an emergency fire exit. (Door is locked from the outside but unlocked from the inside) There is also a water cannon outside for outdoor fires. Please be responsible with all fires! -If you want to cancel you must cancel within 24 hours of booking then I will issue a full refund. The glamping tent features a queen bed and wood stove and sit about 100 feet from the cabin. Our campsite is approximately 2 hours from George Washington Bridge. This property is 45 acres of beautiful forest with 2000 feet of streamfront on the Mombaccus Creek where you can hang out and cool off on those hot summer days. Minutes from hiking, fishing and horse-riding and everything great about the Catskills. Rough Cut Brewery is a 10 minute drive with amazing beers and food when you don't feel like cooking at the campsite. 25 minutes to the action in New Paltz, 10 minutes to Walmart and 5 minutes to the Kerhonkson Diner, gas station, laundromat, pharmacy, liquor store etc.

No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities! The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities! The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you. The spot for camping was nice and the host was very accommodating to allow my teardrop camper. The ground is soft for a tent, but you have to choose your location we’ll. because there are rocks underneathThe host answered my questions through the app which I wasn’t used to (first time hip camper) but it all worked out. Plenty of good firewood, but it was kind of pricey. All in all a great experience and place to stay. Btw- neighbors have a rooster:)

We had such a peaceful and restorative stay here. The campsite, the cabin, all of the amenities, the trails, etc. are beautifully designed with a lot of thoughtful touches. It feels very special and welcoming! The kitchen setup, the outdoor shower, and the fire pit with Adirondack chairs definitely elevated the camping experience. Our dogs had a great time exploring the woods, and we felt very comfortable letting them roam around with us. Last thing I'll gush about: the ever-present sound of the creek is unbelievably soothing. Highly recommend this site if you want a place to disconnect and unwind in nature...with a convenience store a short drive away :-)

John’s camper was super fun! My partner and I loved it as a little summer getaway. Here’s some things to note: shower never got hot (there was instructions to wait 20 minutes after turning the heat button on and letting the water run but it never turned warm). Oven did not work :( If you plan to go to this site in the summer, be prepared to have a lot of buggy friends fly in to the camper at night. TV, bed, and everything else was amazing.

We had such a beautiful time! John is an amazing host, he's down to earth and very helpful. He already mentioned this in the description, but the RV is tight! Me and my girlfriend both are 5'3" so we are good and found the space cozy. Cooking was good too, we got some groceries delivered from a nearby market that does free delivery. The RV has its own spot in the shared campsite and it feels private. The hammock outside is wonderful and we took a few naps there too. We forgot our cards but John has a deck in the RV which worked perfectly for us. We did fires every night and did some food in the grill. There are different species of birds in the campsite and at night the stars are gorgeous. We saw a few bunnies and a pair of deers around as well. We were there without a car so it was a bit harder to move around but taxi services work there! It just takes a bit of time. There are a lot of things to enjoy in Hudson, Catskill and Leeds! We did also a few hikes around the area and explored some thrift/antiques stores that were lovely. Oh and the wifi works good! We would love to come back! Thanks for everything John, we had a great time!

This place was amazing my husband and our dog had such a great time!!. This place makes you feel like time has stoped. Local places to get things you might need. The swimming hole our dog enjoyed it so much and we loved the view. During the night time it gets really dark only suggestion is bring flash lights it worked out great for us. Making plans to come back with friends and family since is specious enough to have more people. FIRE PIT was awesome 👏🏽 Jeremy & Josh responded at a timely matter and the communication was great book!!

Two hours from NYC, close to skiing (hunter mountain/ Windham , Kaaterskill falls, Woodstock, Hudson, Saugerties. FAQ Is my rental secluded? Our property is 8 acres, exactly the same as seven football fields. From your private deck and the big window, you will not see any other houses as far as eyes can see. We added fence panels to make it even more private. We have attached a satellite picture of the property to give you a better idea. As required by zoning law, there is a larger cabin on the property. But it is far enough and visually isolated enough that you won't feel it's presence (at least from the feedback we got from other guests.) We are located in a rural hamlet and a mile down the road there is a tiny town with two cafes , two bars and two restaurants. But your place is one New York block distance away from the street towards tree filled uninhabited area, adding to the sense of seclusion. I have never been in a tiny house, what can I expect? The "tiny house nation" style tiny houses are around 144 to 250 sqft, ours is 144 sqft. So,we are on the "smaller" side. Our guests have commented that its actually does not feel cramped. You will have heating, AC, hot shower, flushing toilet, kitchenette for basic cooking, small fridge, queen bed etc. You also have a private deck and a private outdoor fireplace to make S'mores and to grill. Are pets allowed? We just require that they should never be left alone and peace pick up after them. Our cleaning company charges a pet fee. If you forgot to pay it or decided to bring a pet last minute, please leave the amount as a tip to the cleaners. That way the cleaners get to keep the money and then they won't report the pet to the cleaning company. This also saves us the hassle of going back and forth with the cleaning company, reviewing the camera footage and ultimately paying it out of our own pockets. Also, please keep in mind that the house is really small at 144 sqft which may be too cramped for some large dogs. I work from home, how is the WiFi? We have had multiple guests who worked from home during the pandemic. Our provider is spectrum (the monopoly in the area). Luckily, outages are very rare and get fixed promptly (you may have to restart the router). Speed is always good for multiple simultaneous video calls and movie streaming. Do you provide firewood? Not yet! You do not need firewood to heat the house. If you want to use the outdoor fireplace, look for 'Campwood' signs and buy from our neighbors.(Also @ Walmart, Stewart gas stations etc.) What about Towels-Soap-Linens-Hot water? Is there heating/cooling? Can we cook? Yes! Yes! Yes! and Yes!. Think of all the amenities a hotel provides plus a tiny kitchen. Hot plate, refrigerator, electric kettle, drip coffee, plates, cutlery - we have all that we could cram into the tiny space. Our guests use the outdoor fireplace for BBQ and smores! Can I check in early? or Check out late? No and Yes. Due to the super strict covid19 cleaning process, we can no longer offer early check in. However, we can offer late checkout up to an hour. Please inform us in advance so that the cleaning crew can adjust accordingly.

Welcome to Hickory Hollow! Located 7 minutes from the Town of Catskill, 25 minutes from Hudson, and just under the Catskill Mountains, Hickory Hollow is the perfect campsite to take full advantage of the Upper Hudson Valley. There are two campsites you can chose from, both in clearings that make for great star gazing. Camp 1 is deeper into the forest taking about two minutes to walk to from the parking area. Camp site 2 is only a one minute walk but much closer to the farm. If you are coming with a dog, I would recommend staying at Camp site 1, as the farms dogs are very vocal when there are new friends in the area. Each campsite comes with a fire pit, a grate for cooking, and a picnic table. There is parking provided and a composting outhouse. You will need to bring your own firewood, though there is plenty of available kindling. The property is 9 acres and I encourage guests to hike down to the stream and take a walk if they feel comfortable. If not there are so many hiking/swimming options nearby and I am happy to point you in the right direction. This property has a been a life long dream of mine, and is (in my opinion) the most beautiful place on earth. That being said there is a still a lot of work that I am doing since this is a very new endeavor. So please watch yourself if you do decide to stay. The Hollow is beautiful but also very steep, so please be careful while you walk the woods. Pets are welcome, but again, be safe. There is an abundance of wildlife in the Hollow (see if you can spot the porcupine) but that can be very distracting for dogs, so be cautious when letting them off lead. We love having chill rock climbers, hikers and families on our farm/wedding venue.  It's not a campground!  It's just a super cool place to have some privacy and a camp fire and be really close to the best hiking and climbing, and swimming holes and farmers markets and road biking around.Horse farm / Wedding venue super close to Gunx, Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, Lipman Park (Mt biking) Great for rock climbers, families, hikers, horse folks.Sites are private with fire pits. It is $25/ person per night!Strict cancellation policy so if not sure, just book for 1 person to guaranty a space and settle up upon arrival when you know your actual plans and numbers ?So, we do weddings on some summer /fall weekends.   You camp in a totally different part of the property and are no where near the wedding activity at all.  Occasionally, the music is audible.  We do our best to let the wedding folks have their fun without irritating neighbors and campers, but feel free to check in with us before booking.

Terrace Farm is a multi-generation farm on 160 wooded acres of Tremper Mountain located on the outskirts of the Hamlet of Phoenicia in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. World class fly fishing on the Esopus Creek, private hiking trail to overlooks of the Esopus Valley and historic rock quarries as well as several public hiking trails including the Long Path are all within walking distance. Also located within walking distance is the Hamlet of Phoenicia. We have three sites available. Beechwood at Terrace Farm is the quietest and the most secluded. This will accommodate six guests. Maplewood at Terrace Farm can accommodate eight guests. The Hemlocks at Terrace Farm is our largest site and can handle twelve guests.
