Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. The lake is home to native wildlife and the brook is loaded with trout. There are a couple of professionally maintained landscaping areas perfect for camping and firepit. It comes with a firepit, and everything you need for an amazing night out in the wilderness. There are beautiful hiking trails on site as well as right across the way adjacent to the property that are highly regarded in the state. The most secluded property you can imagine, it is home to some truly magnificent wildlife. There is no littering, and absolutely no hunting. As a nature lover, the respect I have shown these animals, is the reason why they love it here. Who knows what you may see! Firewood is available for purchase at the top of the driveway. It is handcut and seasoned for 3 years and stored in a custom hutch. $5 a compartment money goes in the mailbox.

Wonderful stay! Rae was super communicative and kind, the tent was spotless, and she even left an extra blanket for the cold night. The animals are absolutely adorable. Would definitely come back! Cute towns around!

We had a wonderful stay at Fluffy Butts! The campsite was easy to find and still felt secluded and very private. Rae pulled in right after we did while we were unloading our car. She was very warm and welcoming and offered to take us to meet the animals in the morning. It was a chilly fall, rainy night and the tent and bedding provided was very dry, clean and warm. Would definitely return!

Weekend Trip to Historical Lake Front Barn

We stayed here for two nights during Labor Day weekend, absolutely beautiful weather, no bugs. Good swimming hole in the creek and a stone skipping lake nearby. The abandoned house was fine, and overall quiet. This area is rich horse ppl mansions everywhere, I wasn’t worried about my safety at all. Great spot for my dog too and a nice walking trail. We weren’t bored. Around 9:30 am the host with police badge on windshield of truck came and told us there was a large group coming and asked us to leave earlier than check out time, he was cool though, and luckily we have very little to pack up. There is also a camera at the site, but we felt like we were left alone the whole time we were there, and really weren’t bothered at all by the camera there. We would def come back here again, I felt like it was worth the money and a nice area! Nice camp site!

Fluffy butt rescue was an amazing stay. Rae was so gracious with her time and showing my two girls (11&8) around the farm. The tent and beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the three of us and ample privacy so we really felt secluded. The stream near the tent was a perfect “white noise” to fall asleep to. Thanks so much for our stay and we look forward to coming back!

Rae’s farm was easy to navigate aside from a little confusion about where to park. There is ample lighting, a clear path and fun facts around the farm that line the path to the tent. The tent itself is tucked away to give a bit of privacy while still being integrated onto the farm.

Very close to local hikes and food. The land was private, tidy, and everything was accounted for. Even with the oppressive heat we had this weekend we were able to enjoy everything it had to offer. The host was friendly and accommodating

I absolutely loved my stay here - every part of it felt thoughtful and full of heart. Rae is incredibly kind and generous with their time, taking care to show me around and share the love and intention behind the sanctuary. The animals are precious, so fun to spend time with, and clearly beloved. The Sanctuary has many features and touches that makes it especially charming - the bridge, twinkle lights, stream, pond, and carved little trails behind the tent are all quite lovely to wander down and relax by. A wonderful and worthwhile getaway that supports a hardworking and kindhearted cause.

Our stay at Fluffy Butt Rescue was lovely in every way! The setting is idyllic, with a perfect flowing stream, fairy-tale bridge, beautifully appointed tent, and of course the charming Fluffy-Butts! Rae was such a warm and welcoming host - her artist's touch is evident in every detail, and the love and care she has for each animal resident is infectious. We woke up on the morning of our second day to find a gorgeous, hand-picked bouquet waiting for us on the edge of the bridge in the morning sunlight - an unexpected gift that made us feel extra-special. Ten out of ten - we would absolutely recommend a stay at Fluffy Butt Rescue, and already talked about coming back again!

We loved glamping at Fluffy Butt Sanctuary!!! The tent is beautiful and the bed is so comfortable! The sound of the stream was so peaceful. Highly recommend bringing coffee grounds and using the percolator. We LOVED getting to see all of the beautiful animals! Rae is so nice and welcoming. Directions are clear and she is very responsive to questions. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful trip with amazing rescue animals😍

Rae is the most down to earth person! Super sweet, super kind, awesome host! I’m happy Rae was willing to share her getaway with us. It was nice to get away from the city to surround yourself with nature. Nothing beats going to bed and waking up to the sound of birds and the stream. I would 100% recommend this place. The property and animals are phenomenal:)

This was our second time at FBR in the last year and our family of 4 enjoyed every moment. We extended our stay a bit longer this time to enjoy the sweet animals, the musical creek and the peacefulness of it all. We appreciate how close the trailhead is for biking to Frenchtown and beyond. FBR is the perfect glamping getaway from city life. Rae and her family are always so gracious. We’ll be back again.
