Come stay on our quiet and scenic farm. Easily accessible from Rt 89 and Rt 4. Our Pick Your Own Blueberry fields open in July. Clay Hill Corners is a 10 acre working Blueberry Farm. We have PYO Blueberries and a farm stand open from mid July to August. We sell organically grown blueberries and produce locally. Learn more about this land: Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and faces the forest. The Sugar Shack sleeps two in a comfy double bed with clean sheets and a fleece blanket. I wash the linens and blanket in hot water for each and every booking. Please bring your own extra blankets or sleeping bag if the weather is cold. An additional clean quilt with duvet cover can be added for a $ 10 per booking fee. There is a small porch, a charcoal grill, four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring, fire wood, clean potable cold water, a solar shower, and an outhouse. We provide the firewood for the fire ring and we provide charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill. There is space available next to Sugar Shack in the field for additional tents or small RVs. (There is no electricity.) The upcharge for additional campers after the first two people is $5 per person per night. Hiking trails through field and forest start at your door. We have a 3 mile round trip hike to Harlow Brook with a map. We are on the edge of a wildlife corridor and often see deer, coyotes, fox, waterfowl, songbirds and the occasional bear. (Keep food in your car at night so that the bear does not eat it!) We are above the Ottauquechee River at North Hartland Lake. We have rentable canoes and a kayak. We can transport you to and pick you up for a canoe trip on the Connecticut River or to North Hartland Lake.. We are located two miles from Quechee, 7 miles from historic Woodstock to the west, and 7 miles to hip White River Junction to the east and 8 1/2 miles to Dartmouth College and the Appalachian Trail. There are fun casual restaurants with some sit down and take-out nearby and our local Jakes Market can provide you with a nice selection of groceries. Hot Air Balloon pilots often take off and land in our fields and it is always a magical site. We can connect you with local pilots if you wish to purchase a Balloon Adventure.

Family owned property obtained through the barter system. You shingle my barn and I'll give you that property. My Pappy's land. 11 acres. Recently cleared for its timber. With some landscaping it became clear that beautiful campsites were forming. My father is 78 years old. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes,concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet. Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any. 2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience. WELCOME BACK for 2026... 2025 had some complications unfortunately. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to invite anyone to my property. Consider yourself invited for the 2026 season. I look forward to hosting new and repeat campers. There is a free weekend offer for those who would like to camp and work to prepare for Memorial Day weekend. WELCOME ALL!!

I loved camping on Lori's land. All the glamping tents are very private, and you have to walk about 100 yards from the car, so there is no noise at all. The outhouse was super clean and so cool inside. The bed in the tent was very comfortable and had enough room for the dog as well. The land is beautiful with North Conway only a 30 min drive for great food and coffee! I highly recommend this Hip Camp!

Lori was great at communicating directions, etc. and the campsite felt tucked away with nice touches like picnic table, high counter for cooking, comfy chairs and camp ring. This was a great campsite! Close to the hikes in White Mountain yet enough away from the crowd. The tent setup and beds are cozy, there are a lot of supplies to use, and as everyone says but worth repeating this is the nicest and cleanest outhouse I've seen. Unfortunately I was only here for a brief stay as I was just passing through, but would love to come back for a longer time.

This was my second time at the Sugar Shack and it did not disappoint! Marty was a gracious host as usual and the land is beautiful and well cared for. My siblings and I stargazed, had multiple fires using the ample supply of firewood, and enjoyed a few visits from Bluey the dog. On our second morning there, we got to see two hot air balloons launch from the field! It was awesome and Marty checked in with us beforehand to make sure it wouldn't disturb our camping. Highly recommend a visit!

We highly recommend Lori's Butterhill for an outdoor getaway! It was so nice to be able to take my boys camping without packing and setting up all the gear. Everything was clean, aesthetic, and homey. We rented the propane heater and cracked the tent windows a little for ventilation. It was so cozy overnight! No more freezing cold camping nights. I especially loved the french press so I could enjoy a hot cup of coffee around our morning campfire. Lori couldn't be more friendly. The whole experience went so well that we're already planning to come back! It's worth every penny! Thanks Lori!

3 nights at Suncook River Camp

We rented a Jayco camper that made our stay easy and more comfortable. It was right on the river- we enjoyed waking up and watching the ducks go by. We spent a ton of time outside, grilling, having fires and spending time/ laughing with friends. Lots of things locally to do as well. We went apple picking and to the local fair! We got some time kayaking in the river too which was peaceful. It was a nice, quiet getaway, and the owners are lovely people. Be prepared with all your own camping gear. Though the camper was very comfortable, we were lucky we had everything we needed. You will need all your own kitchen gear: a grill, pots/pans, plates, mixing bowls, etc. We would def come back, especially since it's only 1.15hr from home. Thanks for a nice stay.

Weekend Trip to Clay Hill Corners Blueberry Farm

We had a great experience camping on this adorable blueberry farm! Our 1 year old French Bulldog, Bruno, perhaps had the best time of all, as he got to become BFFs with the hosts’ sweet dogs, Bluey and Ella. Our favorite moments were watching them run around our campsite and play for hours together. The sugar shack and the surrounding camp area were private and provided us with everything we could need - a cute little cabin, running water for the sink, solar shower, fire pit, charcoal grill, and trash/recycling receptacles. We really enjoyed how the site was out of sight from the main house but close enough to feel our hosts were at an arm’s length and nearby should we need anything. Marty was super welcoming and helpful, laid out all important instructions as well as ideas for fun outings and activities, both on their land and beyond it. With his help, we took off on a quiet 3 mile kayak trip down the Ottauquechee river where we saw bald eagles and blue herons. At the end, Marty picked us up with the kayaks to drop us back to camp, and even took the time to show us a few extra cool spots for fishing and canoeing. His expertise as a fishing and canoeing guide really shows! Their land is beautiful and serene, very quiet save for the sounds of nature around you. We got lucky to lounge back and watch the hot air balloons hover over the river and nearby the property both days of our trip! This was our first experience using HipCamp and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!

Weekend Trip to Suncook River Camp

We loved the Suncook River Camp and staying in the blue Avalon vintage camper. The camper was perfect with its vintage charm and comfortable bed. The site on the Suncook River was great. Our 7yo daughter loved the clean pool, the outdoor movie night, and fishing/canoeing/tubing in the river all weekend. We caught some nice yellow perch on nightcrawlers. The campground was large enough to have amazing amenities (Hot tubs and sauna opening soon) but not overcrowded. The hosts were very responsive to requests such as firewood orders. Great trip overall!

Absolutely loved this stay so much! Went for my annual trip up to NH for my birthday, and this was the best one yet by far!! The site was incredible, perfectly secluded but still easy enough to get to with close proximity to the lovely kept bathroom. The bed was super comfy, with extra blankets to cozy up with. We were greeted by the hosts beautiful and super smiley pups in the morning which really just topped it all off for me. 10/10 will absolutely be back!!

What a gem. We were driving up to Bangor, ME for the Labor Day weekend and were having a hard time finding a spot when we found Suncook. What a find! Our spot was right on the river and just around the corner to a clean bathroom and showers. The campgrounds had several options for staying including yurts, domes, tent sites, rv sites and even classic furnished rvs. They have a pool, bounce house, playground, a big firepit area and an outdoor kitchen where they looked to be building something new. We would definitely come back when in the area and recommend coming and seeing them! Bonus, dog friendly and a dog washing station on the side of the bath house if needed.

We loved our stay on Lori’s property! The pictures really don’t do how beautiful it is justice. The wood chip covered paths were a hit with my toddler who had a blast exploring. What you have likely read in other reviews about the outhouse is true they are superbly clean and well decorated. Lori was so friendly and kind- we loved everything about our stay! We will definitely be back!
