We are on 7 beautiful acres in Baldwin City, KS. We're in town, but you'll feel like you're secluded in the country so you get the convenience of being close to downtown Baldwin, just 3 minutes away, while also feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere peacefully camping, just you and the birds. Our "glamper" is a 1960's retro camper that has been fully restored. The outside still looks very retro, but when you step inside you'll instantly surrender to the relaxation that awaits. Sink into the pile of fluffy pillows, take in the breathtaking boho vibe and the many amenities including A/C and Heat, wifi, a microwave, television with Netflix, refrigerator, waterless toilet and hand-washing sink. Games and snacks are tucked away in the kitchen area for you to enjoy your leisurely time at The Nest! With a large deck on the front you can take in the views of a nearby pond and a meandering creek which serves as a wildlife highway. The area was spacious and private, exactly what I was looking for. If I had to nitpick, a sign at the entrance would be beneficial (very easy to miss turnoff), as well as a sign at the actual site. But the camping area matched the pictures, so that was easy enough. Highly recommend!

1 night at The Nest at Duck's Landing

We were honored to be some of the first hipcampers to stay at this property! The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and readily answered every question we had. All amenities were as described, and they even offered to start a campfire for us upon arrival. There are plenty of scenic views to take in, and the hosts provided a variety of seating and shelters around the property. A detailed guide was provided that gave instructions to electronics in the camper, as well as suggestions for local outings, and was much appreciated!

My wife and I had a wonderful two night stay in the Dreamcatcher Tipi at Sundance Ranch. It's perfect for a quick getaway from the city! Rhonda got us settled in and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We took a little trip around the lake in the canoe in the morning and relaxed around the campfire listening to birds and watching wildlife the rest of the time. Very relaxing!
